If you like Dim Sum this place might be for you! Helpful friendly staff; they do the cart and also the menu. All the food was fresh and tasty. Not the cheapest place but I guess you get what you pay for. If you are close check it out!

Dim sum is okay, place is big so easier to get a seat as long as you avoid the peak hour

Do not recommend. As someone who’s grown up eating dim dum in the GTA, this is definitely one to avoid. Food is served on dim sum carts which is theoretically fun and traditional, but are unfortunately left unattended for huge chunks of time where the food collects dust and becomes unappetizingly cold. See photo where a cart was left unattended next to our table for 15 minutes. The manager also roams around table to table in an attempt to pawn off expensive dishes that were unable to be sold. Like why would I randomly spend in excess of $20 at lunch for a lobster dish that was made 4 hours earlier. Poor quality, cold and unappetizing food for a steep price.

Great service! Service charge is included so no need to worry about calculating that! First time we had dim sum in years! The cart dim sum is pretty rare nowadays. It's great for the west end of GTA since the population here probably won't understand the dim sum menu. All the classic items were available, Siu Mai, Cheng Fun, Casserole Rice, Short Ribs, Squid, Taro Cake and more! They had steamed garlic oysters too. Soo delicious! Glad we have an option for Chinese dim sum in the west end!

We enjoy eating dimsum and decided to go to this place for lunch. The dimsum are served in carts that go around the restaurant for customers to choose from. We had roasted pork, sticky rice, tripes, chicken feet, har gaw, shumai. Everything was good, price is reasonable and portions are just right. Though there were a lot of customers, tables are adequately distanced. 12% service charge is already included in the bill.

Not as good as it once was. This was my go-to dim sum place for work and personal lunches for 20 years. However, after going there for the first time since the pandemic, I've noticed a huge decline in quality of food, service and massive increase in prices. They now charge 2.99 for tea which was once free and a medium dim sum plate is $4.99. Like other reviewers have said, they don't send fresh food and dishes out regularly. We sat there for 20 minutes and the same 3 carts kept cycling through even though the restaurant was full.

I had lunch today with my wife and daughter at Emerald Chinese Restaurant. It’s been over 2 years since Ive been here. In the past the food has always been good and hot. Today I found the food to be very cold. Only the Tea was hot. The server pushed us to buy the breaded lobster and Pork dish. I could barely find any lobster under all that seasoned bread and we couldn’t eat the pork and left it behind far to salty. Both these dishes cost over $40? Total bill was $114. Now I know why they pushed for us to buy it. It will be a long time before I attempt to return for Dim Sum again.

Great selection of your favourite dim sum dishes. Service was very fast and thorough. They seem a bit understaffed but was still able to sit us down at a table very quickly without a reservation. Price is affordable and of great value.
Would recommend anyone who likes dim sum to give it a try!
