Review Sushi For You - Mississauga

Ryan Ng
Ordered the Medium 72 piece maki tray. It came 2 California Rolls, 2 Red Dragon Rolls, 2 Green Dragon Roll, 1 Tuna Roll, 1 Spicy Tuna Roll, 1 Salmon Roll and 1 Spicy Salmon Roll. Sushi pieces were cut smaller than average and the fish on top of the speciality rolls were very small as well. Taste was fine, nothing too special. The Dragon rolls were showered with tempura flakes which may have been stale as the texture was a bit chewy. Price is decent compared to other sushi restaurants, but comparing quality, there are better alternatives in Mississauga.

Taste, size of pieces, cleanliness all the best. Will definitely return when in Toronto. Service was awesome and quick. Highly recommend

Great family run sushi restaurant. Always a great experience. The food is all made with fresh and quality ingredients and it shows. Must try! Pre order for your lunch on the phone and have a quick lunch, saves lots of time

I uses to work here so take my review with a grain of salt. I absolutely love this place. Obviously, it isn't the highest quality sushi you can get, but it's delicious nontheless and they have some amazing rolls. I highly recommend their Salmon Lover Maki, and if you're feeling adventurous, try their Ebiten Maki. They also havw amazing combos with prices that are hard to beat. I highly recommend trying this place!

Service is always great. Food also hasn’t missed for me yet. Hole in the wall place that never disappoints, also pretty affordable for the quality.

Prices are cheap, but the quality is poor. The rolls had too much rice and barely any fish. The taste wasn’t great either. Would not recommend but there are limited options in the area for decent sushi.

I ordered from here for the first time. I normally go to k&b for sushi in the area but I figured I'd tried something new. I ordered a basic beef teriyaki bento box. The portion was quite small including the salad and soup. The sushi taste quality was decent but the need teriyaki was not.

I went with my son last night and we ordered lots of different types. All of it was great and we had a lot of fun eating it. The soft shell crab was cooked well and the small sushi/maki package was good. They were super busy with takeout so I engages with our server and the food came out very quickly.

The best sushi in the GTA! Sushi 4 U is a must in our list whenever we are in town. Thanks for making Diego's 8 birthday even more special.

They are so pleasant and sweet! I especially love the lady that takes the order. We are regulars and they are always very patient and accommodating with our specific requests, whether we eat in or take out.

Best sushi in Streetsville!

Will never go back again to this place. Service is lousy, food tastes like rubber, small pieces of fish and price is expensive. This just confirmed that, avoid going to inauthentic, not Japanese-owned restaurant.

Best sushi in town! You have to come here and try out their sushi. You won't regret it. I always get my sushi from here. The service is amazing. The prices are great.

My sister and I went through a sushi phase (1 year ago), where we were trying to find the best sushi, and when we found this one, we were a little hesitant on going in, but i'm so happy we did! A lot of the sushi I've tried has all tasted so similar, but not at this place. There's actually some depth in the flavour of the sushi, and the spring rolls and dumplings are also amazing! And the staff is also very nice and welcoming! This has become our go-to sushi place!

Great Items In A Warm Environment!. We had decided to come here based on the reviews that were written. When we walked in on a Saturday evening, we were greeted by one of the sushi chefs behind the counter. He asked us where we wanted to sit; we chose the seating in front of the sushi counter. After a few minutes, we were given menus by the only waitress on the floor. The restaurant itself wasn't too big however, it felt very quaint. There were cute photos on the wall and the décor was modern yet it maintained a cultural feel. The waitress was very kind and funny, she made a few jokes which made us feel comfortable. We settled on the Seaweed Salad and Yam Tempura to begin. We noticed that the prices for the items were very cheap, compared to other sushi restaurants of the same quality. Our Seaweed Salad arrived quickly. It was delicious! It wasn't drenched in dressing as some of them are however, it had just the perfect amount of sauce. It was fresh and tasty! The Yam Tempura were a little bit hard however, they were fried to perfection and were always hot (temperature wise) no matter how long they stayed in the bowl.

Our main dishes then arrived about ten minutes after we had finished our appetizers. I had ordered the Philadelphia Roll, while my fiancé ordered the Sushi/Maki combo, which included Miso Soup and a Lettuce Salad. The Philadelphia Roll came with four pieces however, they were all large, and it only cost $4.99 which I thought was cheap. They were delicious, with just the perfect amount of cream cheese and rice. The Sushi/Maki combo was also great, with the fish tasting fresh and presented beautifully on the dish. The Miso Soup was only $1.00 which I thought was great considering the cost of the soup at other locations. The Lettuce Salad was also fresh with a dressing that gave it a perfect garnish.

In total, we spent about $31 for our meal. We thought that was an excellent price considering that we had ordered a lot of food, and it was brought to us quickly with a smile. The only downfall of this place was that it was quite small, so if you choose to have a large gathering here, it may not be possible. Also, there was only one waitress therefore, dishes were often piled on the tables after the guests left for an extended period of time. Possibly having another waitress on staff may be a good idea for the busy evenings. We also noticed that take-out is available at this location, and a lot of people were coming in just for the take-out alone. Will definitely be returning to try some other items! I urge you all to do the same!

Completely dissappointed. Today was my third visit to Sushi 4 U in the past month. To my dissappointed, my lunch was below satisfactory. I got an avocado roll and a spicy salmon roll. I started with the avocado roll, noticed that the rice was undercooked (my first thought). I continued to proceeded to the spicy salmon...YUK! They overkilled it with tobasco sauce to cover up the salmon which was obviously not fresh! So the rice wasn't undercooked, it was old just like the fish. Never again!!!!

I found this place by chance, it has a deceivingly bad store front but inside is quite nice and cozy. The rolls are delicious and so is the chicken teriyaki! I've found the service to be great, with waiters that ensure that my cup of green tea is never empty. With a really well priced menu it has become my go-to sushi place.

Not sure why the rating is so high, for anyone that knows fresh sushi, this place is way over rated.. You can just tell when you taste it.. The rolls don't tast as fresh as many places I have been to.. I always a order the Dynamite roll and it was sub par here.. The beef teriyaki was even worse, dry and cold.. The tempura was ok, but the batter was not as good as many.. Overall good prices, but sub par food all around.. If your ever in the Winston Churchill & Dundas area, on the north east corner right in the plaza between the Chinese restaurant and convenience store, there is an amazing Japanese Sushi restaurant, I forget what it's called and can't find it on Urbanspoon surprisingly, next time I go I will let them know to add them..

Pricey but good. It's pricier than normal sushi places, but it's done well so you don't leave feeling ripped off.

Awesome Place, Awesome Sushi. I have gone to Sushi 4 U quite a few times with friends and the food has never failed to impress. The staff of the family owned restaurant are always pleasant and quick and the sushi/tempura always fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking of going.

Horrible quality. I'm not sure how this place has lasted so long. We ordered 2 large sushi sets and we were really turned off by the quality. The sushi rice was mushy and too hot. It was so hot that the tuna started to get opaque. Though it should have cooked the salmon too, it was still frozen!! The rolls were no better. They looked so messy. They were filled more with rice than salmon and they were very sloppy. I've never seen maki rolls look so bad before. Service was ok but the food quality is really bad.

Great Mom and Pop Sushi Shop!. Ok, when you first walk through the door, you may not be impressed. The decor has a tired, 70s feel to it. However the food is another story!
Fresh, reasonably priced and nice proportions (not too little, not enough) My favourites are the sashimi bento box (which comes with an assortment of sushi, salad, rice, and a soup) Add a side order of shrimp tempura and you have got a great meal for two. The take out service is fast and efficient and always friendly!

Ate on monday at 1130am. Small but popular. Food is good. Portions are larger than avg. Service was slow due to only 1 server working

Easily the best sushi in mississauga, best I've had in all of the GTA. Top points at every level, food, service, and price. Been coming back here for over 10 years!
