There are a variety of baked products available 😋, including (slice) cake(s) 🥮, fresh bread 🥖🥐, donuts 🍩 (my favourite was the plain donut 🥸), and more. There are also some tasty drinks ☕ available. They also sell items similar to a store, such as milk 🥛, cheese 🧀, olives 🫒, and other items. The space is well-kept and well-organized. The service is quick  and efficient.

Amazing owner, what a lovely lady she very friendly and well known, pastures are made fresh and her cakes are made with love. Staff are ready to help and kind. The bakery has a dine in option and a patio, you can have lunch here

It's an excellent place if you're looking to buy some freshly made bread or some tasty treats! I've been a customer for close to 25 years and I always find the place busy. In the summer they've got tables set up outside, so you can enjoy your sandwich or pastry or a cup of fresh espresso. And they've also have tables inside the store, so you can enjoy your treat if the weather is not cooperating. They also carry a variety of European foods and beverages.

Excellent assortment of pastries,cakes and other baked goods. Great little coffee nook with fresh items and a market shop for portugese goods. The Nova in Brampton provides far less varieties so making the trip to this location is worth it!! Love their cakes and bread!!

$6 tax included for an overly toasted breakfast sandwich that's dry and tastes like cardboard. I knew it was going to be bad when they threw the bacon in the microwave and reheated the scrambled egg, if I wanted pre-cooked bacon and egg sandwich I could've went to McDonald's and got it even cheapier and more tasty. The lady didn't even bother to ask if I wanted any condiments on it, they don't even add any condiments themselves, just hand you a dry sandwich. Terrible.

Nova Bakery is a long time favorite in our family. We absolutely love all the baked goods and food there. The shrimp puffs are outstanding, and I love their cakes, pastries, breads, especially a Coconut bread that make. It is heavenly!

I stumbled upon this place and it’s a wonderful bakery with an excellent variety of healthy bread. I stopped eating off the shelf bread as they are not healthy in any way. The people are very nice and the atmosphere is so warm. The pastries are delicious too.

Had a Spongebob cake made for my wife who loved Spongebob square pants growing up. They did not disappoint! The cake was amazing!

Best croissants ever! Accidentally bought an almond pastry today and it was amazing!

This is a proper bakery. Fresh pastries and deli meats are always available at a fair price. There is a regular clientele and a small cafe area is popular. The breads and cakes are superb. A good selection of cheese is on offer as well as traditional grocery needs.

Here every weekend with the fam. If the amazing food, incredible service from all of the wonderful ladies here and cozy atmosphere weren't enough, they have the BEST COFFEE IN THE GTA!

I've been buying cakes at your bakery for few years now, and I always felt your cakes were the best and fresh. Recently friends have been telling me not to buy cakes at your bakery as they are not what they used to be any more, and I shrugged them off but I wish I listened to them this time. Yesterday was the last time I stepped into your bakery. Wish I noticed the mouldy strawberry's on the strawberry vanilla birthday cake before purchasing this old cake. I will now tell people to stay away from your bakery instead of recommending it as I was. Thanks, but no thanks.

Terrible Eclairs. I bought some chocolate eclair's at Nova in Jan 2014. Tried to surprise my family with a treat. They were terrible tasting experience, no taste and they weren't fresh.<br/><br/>Took one bite of one and threw them all in the garbage because they tasted so bad.

Great bakery shop. Have eaten from Nova for years and have always found the food great. It's not overpriced patisserie, but good authentic, homestyle food and friendly service. And the place is packed on Sunday mornings, when I usually go, but worth dealing the crowds.

Horrible Bakery and Experience. I picked up some pastries and cakes at Nova Bakery this past Saturday for a party. People at the party bit into the pastries and began spitting them out because they had lots of green mold inside. <br/><br/>This very embarrassing.<br/><br/>Yesterday, I took the pastries/cakes back to the bakery, and the owner was a big jerk about it. <br/><br/>First he tried to deny that they weren't his (even though I brought back his signature pastries in the original nova bakery box). <br/><br/>Then he wanted a receipt (c'mon who keeps their bakery receipts, give me a break). <br/><br/>He didn't apologize. I told him I bought 10 pastries for $17. He came back with a $10 bill and just threw it at me. <br/><br/>He said, if I wanted the rest of the money, I should come back with the receipt. <br/><br/>I didn't waste my time going back there for the money. I went there seeking and explanation and maybe even an apology for making me look really bad at the party.<br/><br/>I was shocked that someone who has been in business for so long, lacks basic customer service and social skills. This guy should stop making garbage cakes in the back and try being a cashier and maybe he'll learn how to show people respect. <br/><br/>I'm NEVER going back there again (unless it's with a food inspector).

Nice Pastry Shop. Nothing elegant here. Just good, simple pastries that are very reasonably priced. We have had a wide assortment of the pastries they offer over the years. <br/><br/>The pastries here are MUCH better than any supermarket and their prices are also MUCH better. It's a winning combination. However this place is not an exceptional pastry shop with much better quality and tastier pastries available at artisnal patisseri's across the city. <br/><br/>These guys have their quality = price ratio well in check and produce some very good pastries for the price.

Baked Goods at Good Prices!. I stopped by this bakery after an elderly, Portuguese friend recommended it. It is a rather unassuming spot, tucked away in a strip mall at Cawthra/Burnhamthorpe. I don't think I would've ever found it!<br/><br/>On one side, it's a grocery store, and a pastry shop on the other. I was surprised at how cleanliness of the whole place.<br/><br/>I mainly stopped by for pastries, but I did take a look at the other bakery items. A loaf of whole wheat bread was only $2 and considering it's the same at the grocery store (on sale!), for Dempster's for example, I think I'd rather buy freshly baked bread! Too bad this isn't nearby.<br/><br/>Upon check-out, I was really surprised that 2 pastries cost only $2.60 altogether. Whereas, I'd be lucky if I could get 1 pastry for that cost at another place. <br/><br/>I got a coconut topped bun, similar to a Chinese pastry, which was good, not too sweet. The other one was a pecan strudel which was VERY buttery tasting/scented. Out of the two, I prefer the bun as I was slightly turned off by the overwhelming butter.<br/><br/>The next time I'm in the area, I'd definitely stop by, maybe picking up a custard tart and other goodies!
