Review Pho Ao Sen - Mississauga

Our favourite pho place near our home. We come here often and always enjoy the food. We have also order take out, food is always hot and packaged securely to ensure no leaks or spills. I always order the large and it’s enough for two meals.

The food is average. The price is reasonable. I'm a bit of uncomfortable as the table setting is to close to each other. You basically is sitting directly behind someone. There is no distancing at all. Moreover, the staff is not wearing facemask. This is risky and not hygienic especially when they are delivering the food and talked over the dishes.

Quite disappointing as portions are getting smaller and smaller. I used to love their food and buy quite often, but the portions have gotten smaller everytime! The spring rolls are much shorter, and the pork rolls are bulked out with lettuce, have very little meat, bean sprouts and noodles. Much less meat, smaller skewers, everything has shrunk except the prices!!

I love eating here whenever I'm in town. Fresh, good quality ingredients, and authentic flavours. They have a very comprehensive and impressive menu and you can tell they're authentic because they offer catfish stew (if you know you know). I really appreciate that their menu also includes Bun Bo Hue, Bun Rieu, Hu Tieu and other lesser known dishes which aren't always available at many places. This is a family-friendly, multicultural/lingual restaurant with delicious and reliable Vietnamese, Chinese and Asian cuisine. Highly recommended as go-to family dining!

Super yummy pho place in Derry! I had to try their beef stew as this is my go to for all the pho places I go to and this doesnt dissapoint! In addition the fried squid, is so spicy! And its so fresh! Its just perfect! Definetly will recommend!

Firstly, this is a great local dining spot! Dine local. The chicken yellow curry is delicious and I always order it. It’s so rich with flavour. I could actually eat this everyday. Yummy!

Great hidden gem with great noodles. From the outside it doesn’t look convincing, but the food is actually really good. Ordered the pho. Service and food was both amazing. Throughout dinner, it actually got quite busy with both dine-in and takeout customers. Portion of the food is good for the price. It’s really clean there too (the waiter brought us chopsticks dipped in hot water to sterilize), which I definitely appreciated the extra steps taken. It was our first time there and I would definitely go back again. Update: We actually ordered again for takeout (pho and bun bo hue) and it was consistently great. Good portions and consistent quality. Delicious!

***Update May 2021*** I am back again. They now have a online order pickup system by Ritual which is easy to use. My wife really enjoys their CT17 Rice Dish which is new because it includes Fried Fillets of Fish. And it tastes pretty amazing. A must try for sure. ***Update April 2021*** I am in the mood for Vietnamese today, but I am not craving PHO. I have a hankering for some BBQ and rice dish. They call it their "Broken" rice dish. I chose the CT17: BBQ Chicken and Deep Fried Crispy Fish which comes out to $12 and change after taxes. What can I say, it was delicious. Aromatic BBQ smokiness / char, perfectly cooked rice. I like the batter on the crispy fish. One thing about take out only, we are always robbed of the fresh crispiness because we have to transport it home to eat. Oh well....pandemic times. The prepared fish dipping sauce. My taste buds are satisfied and they are happy campers right now. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good pho on a consistent basis is hard to find nowadays. Gone are the days from years past where you can see the restaurant dumping their pile of pork, beef bones that they used to make the broth.....those were the golden days.... So it is refreshing to find a decent Pho restaurant. My wife and friends have been frequenting this location for years now. And the consistency, taste and portions have been spot on. I will actually go out of way to come to this particular location because there are other Pho restaurants in and around the area. The reason is their food is a notch above the others plain and simple. Check them out and see for yourselves.

This is not my first time at this place but definitely the most disappointing experience.  Ordered take out and all the boxes were half full, would expect more for a $12 per item.  Ordered C13 Satay chicken on rice, got noodles.  Ordered large Tom yum soup, received one container of soup (small).  Value for cost is bad, taste mediocre at best.  This was my go to location for Pho, NEVER AGAIN.  FYI, if you want take out, order through Skip and pick it up.  I could have had my food delivered, it  would have cost me the same with tips and delivery., pick up would have been $10 cheaper.  This place has become a rip-off.

Ordered medium spicy pad thai and red curry with rice . Loved the pad thai and perfect spice. But the red curry got over spicy but was good still

Located this place through Zomato with great rating . Wanted to try Pho.<br/>As we sat we were offered hot jasmine tea .ordered medium house pho , huge helping with generous meat .<br/>Great taste , highly recommend for food lovers !

Terrible experience. Food was good but service was absolutely terrible. ordered a pho, a bun and a rice. nothing came until we asked about it. then pho came within a minute without bean sprouts, bun and rice came without the sauce. next they completely forgot our shakes. didn't even start making them until we got the bill even tho we asked twice!! absolutely the worst experience at a pho restaurant I've ever had. will not visit again

Great Resturant, Great Food and Great Staff. We have eaten in and we have had take out and we have never been disappointed. The staff is great in the way they guide you thru what you want and what is offered on the menu. Friendly and helpful staff... especially the one that I am not to call "short stuff". Her recommendations for my wife were accurate and great. Keep up the great quality of staff and food.

Delicious. Me and my boyfriend ate dinner there this evening! We love pho and try it everywhere we go! This place defiantly is at the top of our favourite list! The server was fantastic as well, very engaging and fun! We will be back pho sure!!

This is our favourite Vietnamese restaurant! The food is fresh, the servers exemplify the finest customer service and you feel like you are eating a meal at home when you come here. We eat here at least once a week and it is always delicious. If you enjoy Vietnamese food this restaurant is a must!

Nice Place!. We came here for a quick dinner on a Thursday evening. When we walked in, we were pleased to see a beautiful fountain, which made the restaurant seem peaceful. The restaurant itself was not too large however, there were probably about 10-12 tables. When we walked in, we were greeted by a kind woman who handed us menus. She asked us what we wanted to drink; we both agreed on water and tea. We sat down and decided on our meals. For an appetizer, we chose the Deep Fried Wontons however, we chose 6 instead of 12 as 12 were too many. After a few minutes, our appetizer arrived. The Wontons were quite small however, they were delicious, with excellent sweet and sour sauce to accompany them.<br/><br/>After about two minutes of finishing our appetizer, the Pad Thai (Beef) arrived first, then the Pho Soup (Beef) arrived a few minutes later. Each dish was piping hot, with just the perfect amount of noodles, meat, and vegetables. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious both of the dishes tasted! We also ordered the Lemongrass Chicken however, we weren't too pleased with this choice as the chicken tasted a bit burnt, and it didn't have too much of the lemon flavouring as we would have liked. Two ladies came to collect our dishes when we were done. They were both kind, with smiling faces and pleasant compliments. In total, we paid about $38 for our meal at this restaurant. We found this to be a tad expensive however, the food was quite good for what we had ordered.<br/><br/>Overall, I would most likely return to this restaurant. There were a multitude of options for food items, with great service, a quaint atmosphere, and kind servers.

Family restaurant, not only Vietnamese dishes also some japanese..try the chicken tereyaki!

Amazing Pho has made me a regular at Lotus Pond Cuisine, Amy and the staff are very attentive, my children have a great time there especially with the fish tank.

MUCH BETTER THAN PHO MI 99 AT MEADOWVALE TOWN CENTRE. This place is well kept, clean, and overall a pleasant little restaurant. the pho is fantastic and much better than that of the pho mi 99 at meadowvale town centre. the bowls and plates are nice and clean (unlike pho mi) and the prices are fair and comes with generous portions ($8 for medium pho which is pretty big)

Would come back!. Greeted with warm staff, and served with a real smile. The food was amazing, you could tell that it was fresh by the plate and the soups were still bubbling.

This is the absolute BEST pho in the GTA. I have eaten pho around the world and this is the closest to Vietnam as you can get. They make everything fresh and use only top quality ingredients. <br/><br/>The music is awesome also and the owners are very friendly and always treat us special. <br/><br/>I highly recommend this if you are looking for a great meal.

Great Vietnamese Cuisine. My husband and I had a fantastic lunch at the new Vietnamese restaurant that opened a few months ago on Derry Road in Mississauga: Pho Ao Sen Lotus Pond .<br/><br/>The menu is extensive and it was difficult to choose between all the appetizing offerings. We settled for Shrimp in Fresh Roll as an appetizer - it was fresh , with lots of shrimp and the accompanying sauce complemented it well. For main course my husband had the Special Beef Pho - it was delicious, brimming with meat; I was equally happy with my choice: Special Mixed Seafood with My Tho Egg Noodle Soup - a separate plate with a variety of garnishes (bean sprouts, lime, chili and a large twig of basil leaves) made it extra special. The portions are more than generous, the medium sized soups were plentiful. <br/>And then came desert: delicious Fried Banana with ice cream - highly recommended!<br/><br/>The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a modern understated way. The owners and staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. They have shared with us that they recently added also a new Thai Food Menu - I am already looking forward to my next visit to try their Pad Thai.<br/><br/>The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and has also take-out. We will definitely return soon!
