The fish portions are huge and batter so yummy! If they did chinese style chicken balls theirs would be the best hands down. Fish is tender, moist and so flavourful, not yucky fishy. We've tried a few of the supposed top 5 in Mississauga and these guys are the best. Friendly staff and clean organized operation. Congrats on a fantastic establishment!
Recently discovered this lovely restaurant! Service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is nice and the place is decorated with taste and some thought. However the star is the food. The fish and chips are wonderful. The fish is golden and never soggy. The fries are delicious. Craving good fish and chips? Look no further then this place!
Great food great experience and very friendly management feels like eating at home
Last week my friend took me for lunch at Applewood Fish & Chips. We ordered Wild Alaskan Halibut with Coleslaw. The fish was perfectly made, tender, delicious in a thin & crisp batter. Coleslaw was homemade, fresh & tasty. The service was fast. Highly recommend. The owners are very friendly 🙂
This place has been on my to go list for quite awhile. The other day it was actually on the way, and we were like this has to be the time we are giving it a try.
Since it was like between lunch and dinner so we ordered only a Premium Mild Halibut with fries and a large coleslaw to go.
The fish is amazing! So so so good! But the fries were a little underwhelming probably because it’s takeout. Even a neighbour said it smells great when we were in an elevator.
The only thing though is that the price is on the higher side, but I can understand you pay for what you get. The fish is really good! Coleslaw was great too.
Also love the art pieces in the store. So beautiful.
Hands down the best fish and chips place in the area. Located in Mississauga, close to central Etobicoke. Halibut is so fresh. Fries are the best! Gravy too! The portion size is excellent. The owners are very friendly and appreciative of their customers. Trust me. You won’t be disappointed.
Fish are fresh and crispy at a fair price. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Probably the best fish n chips spot in sauga. Highly recommend the slaw if youre a fan of the creamy kind.
Very clean and well maintained on the inside. Family owned and operated, very friendly and make you feel like family. The fish tastes fresh, the chips taste fresh and their creamy coleslaw is spot on. You can tell that fish and chips are their specialty.

Food 3/5 I have tried literally everything on the menu and would have to say nothing too special. Chicken breast on the menu is literally Chicken Fingers. I just did not really like the batter they use to fry everything.
Price is very reasonable. However only cash is accepted at this venue.
Overall this place gets a 3.5stars but I rounded up due to the very friendly owners.
