Review Seafood City - Mississauga

A great Asian market that specializes in the Filipino culture. Located in the heart of Heartland Mississauga, this huge store sits in a large parking lot with many designers clothing stores. There are small mini restaurants within Seafood City. There's a ton of food and selections that are unique to the Philippines. There's rows and isles of so many different products. In one isle, it was piled high and wide of crackers. Staff is friendly and polite. Stay safe out there friends and please, be kind to one another!

Discovered Seafood City Supermarket by accident while waiting to eat at Congee Queen. Being from Hamilton, I was excited to see what was on offer and I have to say, my first experience made me very excited and inspired me! We don’t have a ton of Filipino grocery options in Hamilton and it’s often limited to a singe isle or a few shelves in a take-out restaurant. Upon walking in I was amazed by the food court that offered street foods, desserts and more. There was an impressive selection of ingredients not available at many other Pan-Asian supermarkets. Since I was pretty overwhelmed and have only recently started researching Filipino cooking, I basically ended up only getting the ingredients for Filipino-Style Speghetti. I’ll be back for sure and very soon!

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I bought a dessert pack of espasol and biko yesterday and brought it to work, when I was about to eat it, I saw MOLD on the espasol!!! When I got back home, the pieces underneath the ones I took had mold as well, and it was supposed to be good until October 2!!! So disappointing considering I paid $12 for it. Never again!

This is one of my favourite stores for exploring international foods. If you like Thai, Filipino or other Asian cooking you will discover all the necessary ingredients especially fresh fish and vegetables you didn’t know existed. I’m always thrilled to find a new leafy green that I haven’t eaten before and figure out how to cook it. Thanks to Google!

I go here for blue crab and pompano fish, excellent service and good cleaning done on all items. I love how they maintain the quality and service.

We love how neat and clean this supermarket is, but my 3 stars are about the food court experience. Seafood City has the best Pork BBQ Skewers in the world, my son loves it and humbly said that he only wants to eat them for this past few months for its juiciness and sweetness savory sauce. What I mean only, means ONLY. Every day. With noodles and lots of those pork bbq on it. Yes, an autistic picky eater but I am happy that he finally wants to eat meat. It might be beyond everyone's imagination, but yes he eats 3 times a day with this Pork BBQ, like: will be forever like this. The thing is the servers refused to provide more of the basting sauce and said NO before I finished explaining. Kinda tough for an autism mom whose kid only wants to eat this kind of food. I really don't mind to pay extra, I offer them to charge me extra, but I understand that rules is rules but hopefully it can be more flexible because couple of times the person behind my line was getting it because they speak Tagalog. And, recently the servers sold the charred ones too, which is not appropriate. I order party tray regularly for my son and on my last 2 orders had a lot of charred burnt meat, almost half of the order was a waste. I hope the cook from BBQ stall can be more careful before getting more complaints from others and food safety department, as I also got some uncooked meat inside while outside is charred. Customer service of the food servers should be improved as well. Thank you and I wish to see your improvement cause we love this food court and I believe Asian hospitality is one of the bests in the world.

The best place to get your Filipino groceries with so many to choose for and you don't need to go somewhere else. Food court has some delicious dishes and desserts. Jolibee is just next door but be prepared to wait in-line for some time.

Ya. I like this supermarket. Lots of filipino goods to purchase. Shelves are stocked. Rows are clean. I went in with an intention to buy 1 thing and left with 60bucks worth of stuff. Thats because i forced myself to not buy more. Of else i would have spent more money. Thats dangerous 😅. Hot plate served here too. And next door is jollibee. Nuff said.

I'm so in loved with all the fish I bought , really fresh it's really worth to go there from Scarborough.

I have everything I need to buy from fresh bread , fresh meat and seafoods most especially the BBQ And JOLLIBEE that my fiancé loves to come here to eat & shopping ..I feel like I’m home in Philippines �

Everything I miss from home is here, clean and very organize.

Washroom not so clean , Some foods are pricey compare to others.

I cannot comment at this time since I believe it's not fully done according to my husband.

SOME FOOD PRICES ARE FAIR ENOUGH BUT SOME MEAT ARE WAY EXPENSIVE, I HAD TO RETURN THE "NECK BONE" WORTH $8 BCUZ IF I GET THIS FR OCEAN IT WILL BE HALF PRICE ONLY, SERIOUSLY....FOR $8 I CAN GET A PICNIC PORK FOR THAT PRICE AND ITS NOT JUST A BONE!!!!
