Review Two Guys From Italy - Mississauga

We decided to check out Two Guys From Italy for date night. We had a reservation and arrived a few minutes before (7:42pm). We were greeted and taken to our table right away. There were a few people at the bar and on the restaurant side there was a fairly large group (approx. 10people) and two other occupied tables (4 people). Service We were given a menu to review when we were seated and a server returned to take our drink order at 7:55pm. We decided to order our dinner and appetizers at once because we overheard a server saying that the kitchen was busy. The server was friendly but clearly busy as she seemed flustered. She also constantly spoke over the drinks which was uncomfortable. We ordered a glass of water and she didn't remember until we asked for the bill. Drinks- Water, Sprite and a Vodka Cranberry We ordered Bruschetta with Mozzarella and Classic Onion Rings and it arrived at 8:19pm The onion rings were good 5/5 and the Bruschetta was also. The bread was soft and it was well seasoned. 4/5 We ordered: Shrimp Jumbo Cheese Ravioli (With onion, mushroom, spinach in a Creole sauce) with AAA 10oz Steak on the side and Penne A La Vodka ‍(sans bacon, bell peppers and onion in a vodka tomato cream sauce) The food arrived at 8:44pm and was underwhelming. After reading the other reviews, it's safe to say that we probably came when they were just having an off night. They were likely understaffed and couldn't attend to the large group and the rest of their patrons; but I don't think we'd recommend or return.

The food is really amazing, the chefs prepare really fast and it's always hot and tasty. We went to a lot of places in Streetsville but this has to be one of my husband's favorite places to go. The atmosphere the service the people are all just amazing. They make you feel like you're a part of a big family and not just coming into a restaurant. They really care about each and every customer to make sure everybody is well taken care off. Thank you Two Guys From Italy.

Nice place with good food. We ordered pasta carabelene, shrimp popcorn and poutine. Out of which poutine was okay and rest 2 were delicious. Good quantity , good taste and good price.

What a darling spot in the heart of Streetsville! It's the epitome of what a strong presence Italian culture has on Mississauga's old downtown. A gentleman having lunch mentioned that he has been frequenting this restaurant for over 30 years! It's charming, amazingly extensive menu and the staff is very friendly. We had the deep dish and calamari. Both were fantastic! There was some confusion with our order, which was supposed to be half cheese and half meat lovers deep dish pizza. However, they accidentally made the entire pizza with meat toppings. The chef generously gave us the whole pizza as is and a small cheese deep dish on the house! Taste 4/5 Quality 5/5 Service 5/5 I will be back to try other offerings from this gem!

Hidden in a plaza with a lot of parking. The restaurant seems to host a lot of events with great interior space. Ordered the calamari, lasagna and alfredo. All deliciously made. This was a walk-in order and one thing to note was it would've been nice if the server mentioned the wait time. The wait time was only mentioned after paying. Other than that, will definitely revisit as soon as restaurants are open for dine in.

Nice place. Normally I order their Spaghetti and Meatballs and it's delicious. This was my first time dinining in and I ordered a Chicken Parm and they give you the choice of pasta and sauce. I got it with the penne and meat sauce. The food was good but the chicken felt a little rubbery (almost as if it was undercooked or raw) but there was no pink on the chicken. I'm guessing it was just the part of the chicken that's a bit tougher. The pasta and meat sauce however were perfect! I would recommend their spaghetti over their chicken parm.

I really like the food of this restaurant. The decorations are a bit stripped down but the food doesn’t disappoint!

Great pizza, everything else is a bit blah. Bar is dated. Dont expect cocktails and modern drinks. Just a basic bar with beer, hard liquor and some wine. There are a bunch of regulars there, which is nice to see in a neighborhood. Pasta isn't great. Wait staff are very friendly and welcoming. There are tvs in the dining area which we liked but may not be for everyone. Would go back for the pizza but not for much else.

OK, this place is not the Four Seasons to look at. It is in a run-down Streetsville strip mall. Lots of free parking. Ambience not the greatest, worn out carpet, shabby (chic?) tables, etc. Prompt service, loads of choices in the menu; too many to make a decision. I settled on the "2 meatballs" for my app. It arrived piping hot and good flavour. For the main I had the jumbo ravioli in cream sauce -- OMG! was it ever excellent. REALLY delicious; I could eat that again -- for breakfast. Bill came, paid and we left. perfect dinner, highly recommend

This past Friday night (Dec 16th) we held our yearly Christmas Girls Night Out event. Being our 5th Anniversary, it was our largest night yet. Enzo and Ruth did an amazing job hosting 30 women for the evening for dinner and drinks, and together with their staff, we wanted for nothing. The food was amazing and timing was great. Even with that many for an event, plus their walk in customers, we all managed to receive our meals timely and relatively together. To our kitchen and wait staff we thank you for job well done!! Best wishes to you and your staff for a safe and happy holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

Simple Yet Delicious!. We had come here on a Saturday night at around 6:45 pm for dinner. When we walked-in, we were greeted by a woman that came to the door from the bar area, which was a closed-off section from the restaurant itself. We also noticed that there was a small alcove at the front where a private party was being held, while the section on the other side of the restaurant housed the main dining area for customers whom were walk-ins or had reservations. The woman asked us where we had wanted to sit; we both replied that we had wanted the booth which was closer to the tables. We noticed right-away that it was a bit too dark in the restaurant however, we thought that this constituted a romantic ambience.

Once we were seated, we were given menus immediately by the woman whom greeted us. We browsed the menus and noticed that they had quite a number of pasta and pizza dishes, along with a number of appetizers such as garlic bread, salads, soups, and other Italian favourites. A middle-aged man then came to the table and asked how we were doing. He asked what we would like to eat for dinner. It was quite difficult to choose only one dish however, I settled on the Lasagna (which was $11.50), while my husband settled on the Shrimp & Scallop Fettuccine Cacciatore (which was $14.95). Once we had chosen our items, the man thanked us and walked-away. He seemed friendly however, he was a bit abrupt, possibly because it was getting busy at that point in the restaurant.

We looked around the restaurant as we were waiting for our dinner, and noticed that there were many photos on the wall which were of the Italian landscape, it looked quite beautiful. However, the lights were much too dark throughout the entire evening, and the booth was not too comfortable at times. We found that this place was definitely in need of a renovation as it seemed to be a bit outdated in terms of design. However, that certainly didn't deter us from eating, which is what we came here to do!

We had to wait about fifteen minutes for our meals to arrive. However, about two minutes before our meals arrived, a basket of sliced bread with butter arrived first. We found this odd that the bread basket arrived right before the dinner that we had ordered however, we decided to delve into the bread immediately as we were hungry. The bread was quite tasty, with the perfect amount of flavour when butter was applied to the bread.

As we were munching on our bread, our main dishes arrived. The middle-aged man told me that the dish where the lasagna was in was very hot, but that the other dish it was on top of was perfectly fine. The lasagna was a very large piece, smothered in sauce and ground beef however, not too much sauce that it was drowning in it. It was the perfect combination of cheese, pasta, meat, and sauce, just the way lasagna should taste. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it tasted as it is surely hard to come by a good piece of lasagna nowadays! My husband commented on how delicious his pasta dish was, filled with shrimp and scallops. His dish was also quite large, with a lot of pasta complimenting the fish.

Once we were finished, the middle-aged man came to our table and asked if we had wanted any coffee/tea or dessert. We both said that we were stuffed and that we would like the bill. The bill came out a few moments later, which came out to $29.89. We found this to be a great price as we both received dishes that filled us up completely, while enjoying every moment of it. Once we paid, we left the restaurant, while admiring the simple yet delicious food that we had received. I would surely come back to this restaurant, especially to try the other dishes which all looked quite delicious!

The only place nearby where you can get a deep fried panzarotti!! And it's awesome. Been there 8 times and thats all I have tried so I can't say anything about the other foods they have, cus really.... It's all about the panzo's!!!!

Decent food but took over an hour to get the food ready. Saw other tables come and go before we got our food. The food isn't worth the long waits.

Quiet Little Bistro. Enzo's is a good place to go if your not looking for anything to fancy or pricey. Or to have a nice quiet meal, alone or with someone else.
I went during the lunch time and they only had the 1 waiter, maybe they have more staff in the evening. They also have lunch specials.
I got the large ceaser with chicken, and it came with 2 pieces of free garlic bread.
I saw on the menu that quite a few items receive free garlic bread as well, so that was nice, except they could work on their garlic bread.
All around, not a bad place at all, could use some modern renovations, but maybe that's the look they are trying to go for.
I will definitely be returning for dinner one evening.

Old school charm. I love Enzo's. I eat there with my bf all the time and I'm never disappointed. We love the pizza and I am obsessed with the gnocchi in a rose sauce. The service is also friendly and efficient!

Awesome pasta and salad! Wat.... This place is AMAZING... always fresh and a great service. This place is honestly soooooooooo delicious!!!! Very cute little old school setting and pretty romantic with dimmed lights and candles. Their cesar salad is good but I would prefer a tad more dressing on it... and I found that a lot of the lettuce leafs consisted of those white stems but the croutons are the best part!!!!!!!!!! next the CHEESE CANNELONI WITH ALFREDO SAUCE IS TO.DIE.FOR. LITERALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 THE MOOST AMAZING DISH ON THE PLANET.... the penne a la vodka is pretty up there too, just need more mushrooms in the sauce. would love to try more pastas but those 2 in particular are my faves. wish they would bring complimentary bread out like they used to. don't know why they stopped doing that but even that bread is always fresh. the food is worth every penny though and I will definitely be coming here for the rest of my life. LOVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! new update: NOT a fan of the butternut squash ravioli and garlic bread is ok.

Gross. Tried this restaurant tonight. My husband and I both had the Spaghetti Cacciatore with Clam Sauce. In hind sight we should have ordered two different meals for comparison. It was probably the worst pasta we have ever had. Completely overcooked and complete mush. There was a few (canned) clams which you could barely see - NO FRESH CLAMS - NOT EVEN ONE. The few clams that were there were so tiny it was difficult to decipher what they were. Oh, and there were about three tiny pieces of chopped green pepper (wow, what was that all about?) Probably the best thing about the whole meal was the bread (at least that was nice and fresh). We would never go back there. Complete rip-off. Absolutely horrible!

Hit and Miss. Came here with my girlfriend, she ordered the lasagna and I ordered the penne pasta. The difference in quality and flavor between the dishes was staggering.

The lasagna was very rich and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The pasta was ill-drained in a watery runny sauce.

Had I come by myself and ordered my meal alone, I would definitely not return, but being blessed enough to travel with a companion and allowed a second chance, the lasagna may bring me back.

A thin line between hit and miss, choose wisely and good luck.

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER. The pizza got me laid! LOVE YOU GUYS

Pizza sucks.. Had their pizza and I rather have a Delissio frozen pizza next time or save some money and get a $5 pizza from Little Ceasar's next door.

$20 for a medium 2 topping that left much to desire.
Steve
I enjoyed the pizza very much the interior looks very nice but the only thing i didn't like was the long wait for the pizza although that was just because they make it by hand. Overall i loved it
