Not sure why it's so highly rated. Sushi and rolls had too much rice and not enough fish. Rice needed more rice vinegar. Fish pieces were not very fresh. Cooked foods were acceptable. Udon tasted better than it looked, the serving size was larger than expected. The teriyaki sauce was not very flavorful. Service was reasonable. Weekend prices were not obviously displayed, lunch on Saturday around $20 per person.
Overall, probably not the worst sushi place I've eaten at but definitely around the bottom of the list.

We went there for lunch, had the AYCE overall, not bad for the price. Food was just decent. We had better sushi elsewhere.

This is prob the best ayce sushi I’ve had in Mississauga, doesn’t take Amex hence 1 star is off. The sushi rolls are amazing, very fresh sashimi, prices aren’t that bad either. Will certainly visit again.
For the owner: Start accepting Amex, you will be featured in their dining app and you will get more business. I usually only go to restaurants that accept Amex.

Very nice and quiet restaurant. You can always find a table on a busy Saturday night. Fish is fresh and delicious. They don't give you a lot of wasabi unless you ask so I would suggest you ask for more before you start eating. Also it's the old school paper order all you can eat so the service isn't as quick as the tablet ordering. Overall it's pretty good and one of our favourite sushi restaurants in the area. Ps they don't have mango icecream for dessert lol.

Not good. All the seafood here is very bland and lacking in flavour or juiciness. The rice here is very plentiful and absolutely tasteless.
Take a look at the spicy Salmon sushi. The entire seaweed section is filled with tasteless dry day old rice. And then theres a small helping of salmon (not even remotely spicy. Or even salty. Just mystery pink sauce) that doesn't even cover the opening. It's like the sushi is taunting you with, "Too bad! You're not even getting what you paid for!"
Avoid this place like the plague.

Asaka Sushi is a hidden gem in Port Credit, Mississauga. Beautiful decor and ambience, with some of the most attentive service I have ever recieved from a sushi restaurant. Although not as much variety of sushi and hot dishes compared to other AYCE sushi restaurants, but the quality and service definitely makes up for it. Great place!

Great good! We were very impressed by the food quality, and with service. Lunch special $15 all you can eat! It was delicious and inexpensive.
