First time visiting this restaurant, & my expectations were well exceeded! The restaurant itself is pretty small, & there was only one server working the entire restaurant, but she was pleasant & did her best to check on her tables.
The starters were great with a basket of bread & a small tray of black olives, cheese, & a mixture of olive oil, balsamic vinegar & red onions to dip.
The fish was cooked to perfection & absolutely delicious. Very tender & juicy, & flavourful. We did not feel rushed at all & enjoyed our time here.

We took my mom here for her birthday and this is Portuguese fine dining at its best! Impeccable service, our server suggested the best pan fried cod fish and I loved the Lulas grelhadas. Plump, juicy abundant portion of grilled calamari. We enjoyed our visit and would definitely be back again.

Wonderful quaint restaurant, went for lunch today and we had the grilled bass and chicken, absolutely delicious! Also enjoyed the appetizer bread with goat cheese, olives and house salsa…will definitely be back! Great service 👏🏼😁

The food here is amazing! The presentation of all the dishes is fantastic! I really enjoyed the seafood. The atmosphere here is very pleasant and the staff is very nice! Even the landscaping outside is relaxing to look at, very green and trimmed. I'll be coming back for sure and bringing more friends to try! Enjoy!

The family combo was def worth it! The potatoes were excellent. However the hard was still hard but it was okay.

Had all of the family and friends there for a communion celebration, food was great but the service was the worst not friendly at all. At one point they were clearing away the plates of people who had finished they came to my son who was still eating and his plate still had quite a bit of food they didn't even ask if he was done just picked up the plate and left. We told him that the person was not done yet he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away! No apology no I'll bring you something else nothing. When it came to coffees the waiter got all the orders wrong and when we told him he just walked away, we called another waiter and explained what had happened he took our order but hen charged us for the other waiters mistake So for these reason I will not be going back and do not recommend to others.

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Leao. We had 36 people attend. There was no set menu and we all were able to order from the menu. The kitchen, bar, and server's were impeccable! The quality of food never suffered given the volume of orders at the same time. Well recommended.

The food is here is ok. Some standard portugese fair, some very good veal chops, nice wine selection. Service, however, is something else. At best, inattentive and at worst unfriendly, cold, and downright bizarre. We had 3 servers throughout the night because, near as we can tell, our first server had given up the will to do his job. Im not sure if we were boring, or life had simply gotten to him. His blank stares matched the barebones service and we felt rushes, hurried, unwelcome at times, and just weirded out by his gazing off into the distance as we tried to order coffee. The coffee is a prime example, as our three-drink order arrived wrong, as did our 3 dessert order. Charming, this place was not. Again the food is ok, but the wait staff are just....strange...

This is the second time I'm reviewing this restaurant.
I've been a patron on and off for almost 10 years. I have to say that the only thing lacking in this restaurant before was customer service.
Food has always been 5*. Ingredients are fresh and local when available. Food comes out piping hot and just as you ordered.
I have to say that in the last 2 years or so, there has been a great change in the attitude and friendliness of staff. Patrons are greeted and seated promptly . Smiles all around. Specials of the night are recommended. All in all a fantastic dinner experience.
