Chill place to go and hang our with friends. It’s got a rustic feel to it. The burger’s good just wouldn’t consider a smash burger. Chicken tenders are good as well. I would go more for the atmosphere.

Went for dinner Saturday, the atmosphere is nice and the vibe was great! They had a live DJ who was really good and we had a great time, I was definitely not expecting that vibe! I would give atmosphere and live DJ 5 stars. Food was so so we had the shareable platter not bad price- 3 stars for the food. Would definitely go back for drinks and the live dj set.

Used to be good, now - don't go unless you are young and beautiful and want to drink. Service was horrendous! The chef does not know how to manage the kitchen. The manager was not managing! The drink menu is impressive, especially if you like scotch and whiskey. When we sat down we were served tap water, no ice and lukewarm. For a drinking establishment - seriously! If I ordered a scotch and water, you would take the scotch and just put it under the tap? Took a long time to order drinks and food (young pretty ladies not far from us were served right away). Food arrived stone cold. They took my husband's back to warm up, mine was tolerable due to sauce that was put on top. By this time we were there for 90 minutes so we just took the food home, mood was gone. No apologies from the manager, no discount to make up for this - we will stick to our usual haunts and avoid this place.

Came here for a couple of drinks and was not disappointed.
The place took the spacing of tables seriously for covid restrictions and had a number of reservations but they tried to seat us still. We ended up sitting at the bar which we didn’t mind, we got our drinks a lot quicker that way anyways!
The staff were all super friendly and the fries I ordered were a lot bigger than I expected. The way it was presented I thought they had stuffed half of the bucket with paper to make it look full but no, it was full of fries. And they were delicious. A mix of regular and sweet potato fries too. Def would order again and would come back too.

Don't waste your time or money. There are dozens of places on the same block that want to serve you. The staff at Door Fifty Five obviously don't. We were completely ignored when we walked in. We had to ask for menus twice. They couldn't decide who was supposed to take our order. After we finally placed our order we waited 30 minutes. When our food still didn't come we walked out. We never found out whether the food was any good or not. It used to be when we were semi regulars. We won't be going back to find out. Neither should you.

We were so excited to come back to door fifty five because in the past the food was amazing. However, today the wings and coslaw had barely any flavour. Not to mention the sauces tasted like cocktail sauce. After this experience I will not be coming back. We paid $60 for 2 beers and 14 small and mediocre wings. Don’t waste your money here. You’re better off cooking at home.

The Wagu burger is a must have, the fries are delicious. The servers are one of the best I have ever seen, they are dog friendly and brought my dog food and water to make sure my dog also got a dining experience. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and looking forward to coming back.

Brought a colleague here for smoked manhattans while in town on a business trip, Ben here once before and was happy to return. Service was good, had personal time with the bar tender learning about the whiskey. The mac salad and sausage platter were great. We finished the night with wings. Overall great experience, good drinks and great atmosphere. Great place to try, especially if a whiskey drinker.

This place needs props AND we need more of these types of bars in Mississauga!<br/><br/>I've been here on a few occasions and the service is always very friendly. Bartender is happy to make recommendations and atmosphere isn't pretentious...unlike other neighbouring places. :)<br/><br/>Menu options are limited, but good! I've tried a handful of them, including the Thyme Fries to share at least twice, and they're very yummy. Great with beer!<br/><br/>Don't let this low rating fool you. Go there and check out the place for yourself!

Without a host at the door, feel free to find an available table and even though their website notes they don’t take reservations, plenty of the larger tables were held so try calling if your party is six plus.<br/><br/>The boss platter ($60) was an easy decision and despite noting it serves two, this dish featuring a selection of meats can easily satisfy four. <br/><br/>The menu explains that Door FiftyFive’s offerings are Southern comfort food incorporating Mediterranean spices and uses a combination of cherry and maple wood chips to smoke meats for hours. This place is great! The food is very tasty and they have some really cool drinks to offer. The music was unreal so many old hits! We couldn't stop dancing ! The staff is very friendly and attentive, they take really good care of their customers. The decor is very trendy which I liked a lot. I will be definitely returning!! Can't wait for summer.

Overall disappointment. The food was cold and the taste didn't make up for it. Slightly overpriced. I didn't like the benches and tables but I guess if you're going more for drinks than food it wouldn't matter much. I won't be going back.
