Review Nirvana The Flavours Of India - Mississauga

Amazing food. I’ve been to quite a few Indian spots around Toronto, and this is definitely one of the better ones. The staff are friendly and provided great service. The food was so delicious. Even though I don’t have a great spice tolerance, I found it very tolerable. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the washrooms smell terrible. If you’re with someone who gets put off by bad smelling washrooms don’t go here. Very disappointing. The interior is a little dated and could use a refresh, but it doesn’t take away from the experience. It was very busy and everyone there was in a great mood.

Experience was Okey. We ordered different varieties and in good quantity, yes I’ll say.. staff is so cooperative- and fast service. Food was not that much good in the foam of taste. We ordered soup and Manchurian in starters, but both were modest. Taste was not real in all orders.

Amazing meal and wonderful service. All the dishes were made fresh and flavorful. The naan is made right there - you can literally see it. A wonderful meal. So impressed that after so many years this place continues to be consistent. Well done.

Great food and brilliant service! Served hot in front of you would certainly make everything worth your while. Hats off to Navneet for her exceptional hospitality!

Sorry, today I ordered some food for a birthday party. Malai Kofta had nothing to do with malai, they made the Kofta with bread 🙄 and the kashmiri dum aloo was some red gravy with pieces of potatoes, not even close to dum aloo. Rotis were decent, we ordered paneer jhalfraize and dhal were not bad. over all 3/10. Nirvana made better foods before. Disappointed this time. I will send photos. see for yourself. How can a decently rated restaurant roll breads and put them as malai kofta? Horrible!

Had gone for a birthday celebration last month. Good to see the host checking for vaccination proofs and keeping social distancing. They gave us the entire upper right section for our birthday group. The spicy corn and hara bhara kabab was delicious. Sorry couldn’t post pictures as we were so hungry and it got over within minutes 😋 for main course we have methi matar malai and some paneer dish, the garlic Nan was crisp and perfect. The spicy laccha Paratha was not so spicy but tasty. Overall good place to host party’s as it’s big and has sections for privacy. Service was little slow, guess a group of 20 is a lot to manage. Drinks and cocktails were ok ok, nothing special or different. Food was worth the price and also worth the wait. Service was good, nothing exceptional. Worth visiting for the food.

I went to Indian restaurant for dine in after ages and this place did not disappoint Ordered butter chicken with tandoori roti and laccha prantha. Butter chicken cooked with authentic masalas and with tandoori chicken which usually other restaurants doesn’t follow and use chicken breast instead. The taste was amazing - perfect mix of salt, sugar and sourness. I didn’t like the vibe of place though. It’s bit outdated but doesn’t take away the taste of food and overall experience. Service quality is great and faster I would definitely recommend this place to anyone 5/5

I ordered Malai kofta and baigan bharta yesterday through skip. And it was horrible. Malai kofta looks and taste like rubber. Malai kofta doesnt have malai. I don't know from what they have made. Baigan ka bharta doesn't have baigan in it and doesn't taste baigan ka bharta in it. Breads were fine. After having the meal our stomach got upset. We have to throw the meal in the dustbin. Horrible experience. We had ordered before but that was fine but now its quality and taste is worse.

Sure is a great place for lunch if you're in the Mississauga area they have a nice concept of executive lunch brought to your table with a nice appetizer three Main items fresh bread salad rice dessert all for $14 much better than your typical buffet style abundance of foodnot great quality hear you get quality and it's basically controlled so you're not stuffing yourself although you can order more of the items that you like and I'll bring it for you best deal is for a lunch menu prices are quite high at around $15 an item so I'll check it out for lunch

Enjoyed the samosa, palak paneer, and butter chicken dishes. Naan was amazing and you watch it being made fresh in front of your eyes! Jasmeet (sp?) was a great server with a sense of humour :)

From the staff, the decor and the amazing food you know it's great food when your 15 year old grandson tells you he has never tasted anything like it before and wanted more. !! .First Class.

Very disappointed. First time we tried Nirvana was in Calgary and it was amazing. We tried this location and it was crap!!! Server was so rude and talked back when i told him i didnt like the food and basically we ending up forcefully eating it. The family was so disappointed and we got stuck paying the 15% gratuity to crappy service. We will never gp back and we will never recommend.

Food was amazing and quite honestly better than Avani. We haven’t been back here in a longtime and after being turned away at Avani despite multiple empty tables called Nirvana and was told a table would be waiting for us. Every item we had was delicious and full of flavour and best of all authentic. Only complaint - table we were given had folding chairs and not the nice Raja chairs. Biggest thing was the mandatory gratuity. Menu said 6 or more automatic yet we only had 5 but apparently the 2 year old baby counts even though she ate and ordered nothing. I was going to tip anyways as service was good but just don’t like being forced to tip. A gratuity is based on service and should never be imposed.

We visited Nirvana on June 17, 2017. The food was very good. We ordered some chicken dishes and goat dishes along with some vegetarian dishes. All dishes were very good. Highly recommended.

The biryani was too sweet. Pricey restaurant but didn't find many Indian restaurants with good ratings. Only good if you haven't eaten any Indian food in a long time.

The staff was really good. They'll come see you after every 5-10 minutes to ask if you are doing good . Food was also really great.

Excellent food! We specially love the kulfis! Being Indian its easy to able to figure out if the food is authentic and Nirvana has authentic punjabi food! I wished I lived in Mississauga to be able to visit this place often, but whenever we make trip to GTA, we make sure to eat at this place!
