Review Shore Grill And Grotto - Mississauga

Glad to have found a new go-to place in Port Credit. Ordered the Vegetarian pizza and Camelot pizza. The crust was surprisingly good and their chili oil was delicious. Love that its dog friendly too. The back patio was really nice 😍 Live music and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back more often.

Great Food! Very Authentic & Hygienic Place! Food Wait Was Quite Short & Waiters Were Nice! Would Recommend! Would Come Back Again. I Had Their Margarita Pizza! (Best Pizza By Far!) 10/10 😋👌👍

Good food, live music and absolutely good service! We were a fairly big family and on a pretty busy day for them the waiter went over and above for us to make sure the food was as we ordered and we got a seat outdoors to listen to the live music. VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE!

Wow, this was my first visit to this end of the city, which has always been so close, but I was unaware. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday after 2 years of not being able to do so. As an event planner I must say the food was tasty and amazing, service was great 👍🏽 definitely going back.

This place has a good vibe and ok food for a vegetarians… For drinks we ordered the Mango Mischief, it was a delicious combo! For appetizers we ordered the bruschetta, it was delicious and messy to eat. For dinner we ordered the Caprese Ravioli and the Beyond Meat Burger. The burger was good with the added mushrooms, where as the ravioli was not filling enough and was really oily. Overall the staff is super friendly and accommodating. This place was super pricey for the meals we got. The bar was really crowded, barely enough room to pass or go to the washroom. The washrooms were in decent shape.

Lovely and Lively Bistro Venue. Food is outstanding. The Martinis are delish. Music was great. Port Credit is a hidden Gem. Look for the small nightspot all along Lakeshore.
Mathew Fernandez
Food was okay (only able to get the night menu) as we arrived after 10. The staff were friendly but very busy.

Went there last night! Awesome service and nice ambience. Loved the caprese ravioli and mousse.

Had supper with my husbands boss and staff last night. Totally loved the food. You have to try their goats cheese spinach salad and their catfish. The service from our waiter, who waited on us continually and our waitresses was excellent, considering the place was so busy and the atmosphere in the dining room and the bar was festive and enjoyable. Over all love this place. Thank you for making our night a night to remember.

What a terrific evening! We spent our Saturday afternoon paddling and then wandered around Port Credit in the evening, and eventually stopped in at The Shore for dinner. Great atmosphere, a busy spot. The food was very tasty. And the service? Excellent! Melissa, our server, was polite, personable, knowledge and very attentive while not hovering. It's a difficult balance to achieve, and she did so perfectly. She delivered the best service I've experienced in a long time. Top notch! So I say thank you, once again, Melissa. We'll be back to The Shore and will most definitely ask for you!

A nice pub style place with an attached dining room for those wanting to eat a meal in a quieter atmosphere. I met my sis-in-law for lunch on a weekday and we ordered pizzas, which were fantastic! I loved the super-thin, crispy crust and there were plenty for leftovers. Good value for the money. Would go back again.

Great food, music, staff and crowd! Always a good time. The place to be in Port Credit :)

Had the delicious sweet chili chicken and shrimp. Couple of awesome frozen mojitos called MoFro. The whiskey was a good touch too. Great patio. Wife and i had a great experience as usual. Brilliant place.

Best Resturant and the best atmosphere in Pt Credit. Our go to place for us and our friends. Well done Shore.

I've been enjoying Shore Grill & Grotto since they first opened. Without exception, every breakfast, lunch, or dinner, has been perfectly prepared, and the service providing it, well beyond industry standards. Occasionally I'll pop in for a cool one at night and then stick around to listen to live music for a while. Great atmosphere.

It's the best place in PORT CREDIT for music every night. Great food and staff.
Angelina Estrella
I love their fish taco, and their chicken and tacos on sizzling plate

The weekend breakfast offerings are amazing! Experienced the toasted western today. omg! Fabulous sandwich and inexpensive. Beer was cold. Perused brekky menu which is available til 3:30 on weekends. Portions are way too big for me. The Shore breakfast could be enjoyed by two. Will definitely return!

Great atmosphere! Super friendly staff! Loved the food, awesome night with live music. The place packs in but a such a good time. Location is so convenient with ample parking options and walk down the board walk to a such a great community of lounges and restaurants. Will definitely visit again!

From my perspective, great music and great staff. Awesome little place when not too busy. Haven’t given it 5 stars on the basis that I haven’t tasted the food.

Brought a friend to Port Credit and decided on the Shore for dinner. Nice ambiance, friendly and efficient staff, I had the land tenderloin which melted in my mouth and my friend the Fillet Which stated was equally as good.

This is a great restaurant the I find consistently good. The only complaint I have at times is it is very busy on the weekends. Sometimes it is best enjoyed threw the week. Pastas are always very good

Food was mediocre, and descriptions seemed a bit misleading. Menu options are lacking... to much focus on pasta. Over priced food. The good location and patio are the only thing this place has going for it. Ordered chicken/shrimp fajitas and it came with cheap tostitos (maybe 4, despite it being nearly a 40 dollar dish) bread and salsa sauce, cheap ice berg lettuce (would have expected better kinds of lettuce) and other ingredients etc. 2 pieces of shrimp and maybe a fraction of a chicken breast and ALL onions and bell peppers in the hot plate. When asked for additional wrap bread to make them ourselves (yes we had to make them ourselves despite it being so expensive) it was an additional cost.... despite there being only enough toppings (2 slices of hot peppers, less than a teaspoon of guac and salsa...). The flavour was non-existent. Any of these dishes you can just make yourself. Word of advice to the owner: don't put something on the menu that you know is below mediocre.

Certainly, it’s one of Port Credit’s largest restaurants: the abundant store frontage provides a huge patio; that’s even before considering the cozy lounge (with live music), huge dining room and private dining area.

Their bruschetta ($8.71) is best described as garlic bread with cheese topped with sliced tomatoes – good if you want garlic bread, but disappointing if you’re expecting bruschetta. The dish was missing that freshness from the herbs, tanginess from a bit of citrus and overall lightness that makes it the famed bread for me.

Consider sharing the cashew-encrusted goat cheese ($12.71) with a table of four as its sheer size would be a handful even for two. I wasn’t enthused when I read its description: cheese with nuts is understandable, but did it really also require roasted garlic and raspberry coulis

Found Cockroach and eggs in my pasta!! Horrible food and service... When I asked the waiter he said this is not the first time... Will never go back. Food is unfit for human consumption.

Disappointed to say the least... Valentine's Day I called in before our reservations and had asked for a salt free diet... The manager Jen, had told us that since we were coming in early that would not be a problem, unfortunately when we got there the service was horrible and when I asked for a salt free meal, the garçon had said everything had salt and that they could not give me anything without it? Either way, I got a song and dance when we got there but when I called in earlier we were promised a salt free meal. Still awaiting the manager to call me back and explain how this happened, when I was promised that they would be able to cater to my dietary needs. Horrible experience, don't waste your money or time.

Food was ok not fantastic had mushroom bruschetta and pacific pig pizza. But the service was not good at all. I suggest uniforms for the staff as they didn't look professional in their converse red high top shoes, sunglasses on their head after 8pm. One blonde waitress didn't seem to care enough and shoved her serving tray up against her exposed armpit. Our waitress with curly hair and converse on had difficult finding clean dishes and cutlery for us and went to four tables before she found some. She never went back to pick up the others she might have found too dirty for us to use. Might go to the bar but not the dinning room.

The atmosphere here is amazing ! Summer time was so nice here ! The food was really good ! Pasta specifically ! Oven baked pasta ! Loved it ! Weekends are nice here with a band playing too .. Date night for sure ! Can be a little pricey ... Not somewhere I would go often .. But occasionally !

The Waitress from HELL!!!!. Or the most part my experiences while dining out in Mississauga are pleasant ones. The root of my unhappiness at The Shore was not the poor food or atmosphere, but the BAD customer service. The bottom line is that it's all about the personal interactions, and our waitress made our night out a living nightmare. She was inattentive, unprofessional, curt rude and simply miserable. She didn't bring cutlery or napkins as our appetizers lay cold at our table. She forgot drink orders, cheese for our pasta, no water for our table. When we asked her for a request she seemed irritated. Never once apologizing. We thought addressing the owner may may give her some insight as to how her patrons were being serviced. The waitress knowing we spoke with the owner, then went on the attack and actually began arguing with us, and throwing insults. It was disgusting. We figured later there must be nepotism at the root, yelling and arguing with customers is really unheard of without worrying you might lose your job.
Establishments like The Shore that condone this type of behavior should be boycotted!

Good atmosphere lousy food. Have been there twice and that's it for me and my friends. The food is horrible and the prices high. We will still go for drinks and music but that's it. It's unfortunate that we can't enjoy dinner and music.

Service is awful. I went there on July 30, 2014. The food was not worth the money that I spent on it and the service was horrible! What bothered me most was the 18% tip that they included on my receipt since I was part of a larger group. I am mad about that!!!!

Awful awful awful. Terrible service. We were ignored by servers while people around us received better service. We just completed a 5k run so weren't looking great I guess, but no excuse to ignore us.Burnt pizza. Staff gas no knowledge of menu.

Not for shore. Our waiter was great.Food was lackluster. Pizza was undercooked and overpriced. Salads were uninspired. There is is no passion for food here. Won't be back

Love It!. Comfortable. Welcoming. Great food. Enjoyed a dinner with friends. Busy but still never felt rushed or ignored. After dinner had a cocktail in the lounge where there was live music. Already made a reservation for my return visit

Is everyone serious?. I don't understand why people enjoy this place. The food is subpar at most. You can tell it isn't fresh. The service is awful. The waitresses have no knowledge of the menu items. I didn't like my food because it wasn't what I expected. They asked if i wanted to order again. I tried something else, it wasn't good as well. I ended up being charged for both. Absolutely terrible customer service. Port Credit has so much more to offer than this.

Too expensive for the sub par food Went with friends to celebrate a birthday the pasta was overcooked and swimming in pesto oil. Didn't even bring bread to the table for this expensive meal. Not worth the prices.

Shore = Enchanting. Ambiance - 5 Food - 4.5 Service - 4

Just like the night i had my 19th b-day party here back on the 30th & i overall feel my expectations we're met, as i wanted somewhere to fit my personality but a certain level of sophistication too. I got a private room which was amazing, most restaurants don't have a specialty accommodation that I've experienced before. I got a special which was cheese and chicken stuffed pasta with a glass of red Zinfandel wine too, both delightful. The waitress was very nice and attentive, only con is dishes we're mixed up but not a big deal. Their reputation upheld my impression so i'd return no doubt ;)

A good experience. A nice and lively experience for a Friday night. The live musician was talented and upbeat. Dinner was tasty and service was pleasant and accommodating. Salad was overdressed and came with the wrong vinaigrette but was very large with generous fixings. Coconut shrimp was crispy and accompanying spicy sauce was very good. The pizza was delicious, although some of the bottom was burnt. Food came out exceptionally quickly, although service at the end of the meal was negligent (possibly due to high demand as bar was busy). A good place to relax after a busy week, clientele is older and predominantly male around mid life crisis... an entertaining evening though!

Our favourite local restaurant. Shore Grill and Grotto is a superb restaurant in Port Credit. It features a separate bar cum lounge area with a great ambiance and relaxed and helpful service. Local musicians play and a great menu is available for bar service.
The restaurant provides excellent service and a great menu of freshly prepared courses. The wine list is comprehensive and the restaurant welcomes families.
Service is friendly and professional with knowledgeable and courteous staff. Doreen who served us served was very attentive and helpful.
During the summer months a patio allows for al fresco dining in a vibrant neighbourhood.
Well located within minutes of Port Credit Go station and with ample local parking there is no excuse for not eating here. It is neither pricey nor pretentious; it is what a good restaurant should be - welcoming, satisfying a great pleasure to visit.

Dreadfull. Slow drinks. Staff barging past us in the bar area. Appetizers were very good thankfully. The mains came in good time. One pizza burnt to carbon. A steak cook very well done ordered medium. Both replaced but slow to come and with no apology no manager. It was late coming. The pasta was over cooked. We ordered coffees and drinks to finish. Two Jameson's were ordered. After a first swig I noticed something solid in my mouth. I looked in my drink. More than five flys were floating in it. My friends glass had more. Apparently manager had gone home and the waiter just removed the cost of the Jameson's. service sucks. Quality is bad. Customer care is shocking. Will never go again.

Patio season is here in Toronto - and it's about time! The sunny afternoon this weekend led me to one of my favourite neighbours in Toronto - Port Credit for dinner and a stroll by the marina. All the restaurants were bustling with hungry diners or people enjoying a drink or two, soaking in the sunshine. I made reservations, so it wasn't too long until we got a seat at the Shore Grill & Grotto . The Crispy Calamari ($10.71) is dusted with cornmeal for a nice crunch - it was pretty good. Calamari is one of those appetizers that I tend to always get whereever I go. Coconut Shrimp ($12.71) - black tiger shrimps covered with coconut, fried and served with sweet chili marmalade. The shrimps were large and there was a lot of coconut flavour to it. I've had this at other restaurants and didn't taste coconut at all so that was great! Spaghettini with Blackened Sea Scallops ($18.71) - blackened sea scallops, red onions, red & green peppers, baby spinach in a roasted red pepper cream sauce. T

With their friendly service and a great patio, you'll have to give this spot a try when you're in the neighbourhood next!
