Wonderful experience. Pancakes with locally made sausages.. French toast.. seasonal fruit and home made baked beans to die for. Friendly welcoming atmosphere and cute little store full of home made bbq sauces, jams, pickles, gifts... and more and more. The owners make you so welcome that you will go back again and again.

Had an amazing time at Wintergreen today, not only was the food comforting, but owner Tom took the time to take us on a real journey. Over the course of two hours we had some fantastically delicious food (can we talk about the sausages?), we had a tour of the maple syrup boiling facility, a tour of the event space, witnessed a miracle, and had a marathon taste test that pretty much changed our lives.
The many lessons in philosophy provided by Tom will no doubt become cornerstones of our approach to existence from here on out. The power of nothing is for real y'all.
Love Tom, love the Wintergreen. We are now serious converts.
Breakfast,as usual, was yummy!! We love the Dawson's and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. It's always a pleasure to go to Wintergreen!!!

Great hike this morning at Wintergreen as part of the 2016 Hike Haliburton Festival. Ryan Dawson's poetry is not only entertaining but educational and awe inspiring! The whole Dawson family is very inviting and made us feel right at home! Delicious lunch!! Their home made food products in their retail section are to die for!
The Sunny Rock Bed and Breakfast is approximately 2.5 Kms from Wintergreen. When guest alumni return to Sunny Rock we offer to them coffee/tea, fruit cup and sweet nothings at the Sunny Rock B&B breakfast table and then when Wintergreen is open in the spring and summer we invite them to experience the hot breakfast at Wintergreen. Guest return following their meal raving about their culinary and social experience.

I visited Wintergreen for the first time last weekend while cottaging near Haliburton. We had a wonderful time talking to Tom and touring the establishment. Tom eagerly shared his wealth of entertaining stories, educating history lessons, creative business advice and delicious samples. We left wiser than when we came in. Tom's quote of the day: "In a world where compliance is the norm the opposite is? DEFIANCE!" Hope to get up that way again soon. Have a wonderful season!
"The guy" the guy with the spoons and the stories!!!! That's Tom! We discovered this gem while in holidays and make it an annual visit now. Last week Tom wasn't available but his most gracious wife helped us out. They have the most amazing goodies!!! I always stock up and leave with a smile �
