Review Grill Daddy - Milton

On the way to Guelph, stopped here for breakfast. Ordered their classic breakfast with two eggs and sausages. It was the best breakfast I have had in years. The home fries were well seasoned and very tasty. The sausages were delicious, slightly salty though. The eggs were done just the way I liked. The toasts were good. The service was excellent.

My family and I enjoy coming here for brunch as often as we can. Portions are great, and food is well seasoned. Most places don’t pay much attention to their breakfast potatoes but GrillDaddy definitely does as I find it one of the highlights of the plate. Definitely check this place out!

Highly recommend this breakfast spot in Milton! The vibe inside was loud (not a bad thing to see everyone happy and chatting in the morning) and the free parking was right beside the restaurant. This is especially helpful for families with kids. Seasoning on their potatoes was tasty; it reminded us of the Cajun seasoning on fries from Five Guys. The pancakes, ham, and sausages were well made. The challenge was the waiting period. Since it took a while, we weren’t able to finish the meal and had to pack to go. The staff however, were kind and understanding; they provided fruits for our baby to munch on while we waited.

The TLDR: Going to Milton for business, found a highly rated breakfast/lunch restaurant. Had an amazing breakfast with awesome service, was served by the owner, had a great chat and now we will come back whenever we are in town I haven't been to the old part of Milton in a while...most of times it has been north of the 401 or just south. Power Malls, new developements, industrial etc....very much like the Heartland area of Mississauga. Driving around the old part of Milton is a welcome surprise of small shops and busniness located around Main St. I read about this amazing breakfast at Grill Daddy in Milton and decided to give it a whril. My wife and I arrived late around 2:30 pm on a Saturday. Most breakfast places close around 2:30pm 3pm after the breakfast rush. We walked in and it looked like they were closing up for the day. We were greeted by Sri (later we found out was the owner). He welcomed us in and said that he was open if we were hungry and wanted to eat. We didn't want to impose because working in the restaurant industry we know how it can be difficult to serve guests if you have sent everyone home. Sri said that "Customers come first, then its family, then its me" We were taken in by his candor and his welcomness that we sat near the back of the restaurant near the kitchen, so that he wouldn't have to walk to far to bring us our food. The menu is quite large and from what I have seen from other reviews the portions are quite generous. My wife ordered the BLT special in a wrap with fresh avacado and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Sri took our orders and was quick with our beverages. I read a review that the homefries with the breakfasts are amazing and I kind of regretted not getting a breakfast to try out these "homefries" Our meals came quite fast and to my surprise my burger came with homefries!! It's like he read my mind!! Food quality is excellent...way above par that most restaurants I have been to lately. Fresh tomatoes, crispy bacon, juicy burgers and soft buns. Sri came by and checked in to make sure the food was good. We had a quick discussion and found out he was the owner and that it was a family business. He was usually in back running the kitchen, but that afternoon he was working the front of the house and luckily for us we were graced with his service. I would highly recommend Grill Daddy if your in Milton. Support Sri and his local business and try out his restaurants amazing food!! 5 stars!!!

Best breakfast place in town. I go here at least once a week. Haven't had a bad meal here to date. Their homefries are my favourite! I've enjoyed every meal here from their skillets to bennies to omelettes. Service was slow a few times but understandable with the staffing issues a big orders in the kitchen. Reasonably priced with big portions.

Love this place to take out of town guests or to meet up with friend for breakie…. Or for a date with the hubby or famjam! Great options- try their Montreal crepe- unique flavors of Swiss cheese, spicy sausages, caramelized apples and maple syrup. It comes with 3 crepes and home fries- which are the best I’ve ever tried!! Sooo good - you gotta try it! Their grilled cheese with bacon was pretty good too!
