Review Mama Mila's Cafe - Milton

Laura
I can totally understand why this place has such high reviews. I came during a lunch rush and the owner/man at the front was very apologetic for the wait (I didn't mind waiting at all- it wasn't a bad time to sit and wait). I enjoyed watching the food being made at the front and watching the dynamics of the team working around eachother. Very decently priced for a jam-packed flavour sandwich. This place is a hidden gem for sure. You can tell they take pride in their work and value customer satisfaction. The owner even spotted me outside to make sure I was enjoying my sandwich. Will definitely be back! (Ordered the meatball sandwich -delicious!)

Hidden little sandwich shop the delivers a quality product. GF had the Apple Brie Chicken and I had the Philly cheese steak. Both enjoyed our sandwiches. The beef was nice and juicy but not overly so. GF suggested her sandwich needed more apple and less pepper. Surprisingly enough my benchmark for Philly Cheese steak is Phillty Phil's. This is not the same but nevertheless has merit hence this sandwich shop is worth a visit.

It is not main road facing restaurant, somewhat hard to locate. Food smells and taste great, friendly ladies to talk to. Please do support independent restaurants as they are working hard to make ends meet.

Delicious food and fantastic customer service! Do yourself a favour and try this gem of a restaurant out. Can't wait to visit again!

A coworker of mine recommended this place and I decided to try it out. All the reviews below me are true. I ordered the Rueben sandwich and a muffin. As soon as you taste the bite, you can tell that it was homemade and made it with love. The flavours of the sandwich are fantastic. What really finished the meal for me is the blueberry lemon muffin as it was gigantic. If you are a big guy like me, I think two sandwiches would be enough to suffice your stomach. All in all, I really enjoyed this sandwich and the muffin for a really reasonable price. 5/5 stars from me.

Really enjoyed the food, exceptional. All of the staff was friendly, and following guidelines. Ordered pork parmesan, Philly Steak, Meatball, and the breakfast croissant, topped it off with the chicken noodle soup. Everything was AMAZING! DEFINITELY A GO TO SPOT!

My experience at Mama Mila's Cafe is in a small word, home grown. While the food may be fancy, the people are definitely friendly. They have a traditional barista coffee maker, I had the Cappuccino. He offered sugar, coco and cinnamon powder (not a standard ask, very nice to see them going above and beyond). I also had the Southwest Western sandwich, which was surprisingly good! The egg is a crepé because they're fancy, and using a pico mixture with beans I thought might be too burrito like and heavy. Absolutely not, the flavours are light and playful. Very surprising for a breakfast food. The food is upcale and you're going to pay for it, I believe my sandwich and the coffee was in a "small size" cup at most places for around $12 or so. But as a healthy alternative and treat, I could see this being a place I would visit again. Great job 👍

The chicken soup is amazing! No filler ingredients, just pure delicious broth with carrot, fresh herbs and noodles. My absolute favourite on a day where I just want some comfort food.

Friendliest people with great coffee and breakfast dishes worth a drive for. Highly recommend a visit when you’re in their corner of the world.

The food here is so good. I have been 2 times. The first time we got there fresh baked muffins and a breakfast sandwich. Both of which where so good. Then again today we tried the home made perogies and a BLT sandwich made on a chabatta bun. And it was deff the best BLT sandwich I have ever had. The chabatta bun was soft and warm and the ingredients were fresh. The perogies were also so good. Made in garlic butter and soft. And of course we grabbed some more really good home made muffins. I haven’t had something I didn’t like here. I’m deff going back :). The people there are also very friendly.

Milton's hidden gem. Ron and Mila (owners) are super welcoming. I hadn't been there for a while and they still remembered my name! The food is amazing, always super hot and consistent. My faves are the newly added Reuben, Philly Cheese steak, Meatball and the breakfast sandwich. Those are my go-to's, have yet to try any others! The soups are homemade and delicious.

The best and I mean best soups. Their sandwiches have a great depth of flavour that I really enjoy. Cozy atmosphere with everything handmade and home made. Great service and appreciative owners have had me come back home and time again. Only one issue. The parking can get jammed at some times.

Being from Waterloo, this cafe is one that leaves a memory of tastes that lingers in your mind for months. My wife and I stopped in for our 2nd visit today, we could hardly wait to get there. And WOW what a explosion of tastes again, perogies , meatballs, Phili Cheese steak, and the best Grilled Cheese and bacon I have ever had. You have to try it to believe it. A true culinary lunch and breakfast outing.
