Review Pasqualino - Milton

Kerry-Ann Lewis
Hosted an engagement dinner which was a success. The staff was very accommodating to my requests. Reserved the wine cellar to host my event. I was able to bring in my own decor. The team worked with me every step of the way. The day of the event the server was amazing. He was communicative with me and attentive throughout the event. Would definitely recommend. The food was amazing. All my guest were thrilled with the menu options, food and service. Their set menu begins at $55 and goes to over $100 per person. They also have a great holiday setup outside if you want to capture a special holiday moment to share on social.

Pasqualino, what a fantastic experience it was. Not our first time but better every time. We went for late lunch, there was an upbeat tempo with live music, cheery staff and ready to serve us and accommodate our halal diet. They always make us off the menu items with chicken Parmesan in a Rosee sauce, the fungi pasta and excellent veggie pizza. Going to go back again with friends, or as a date night.

I went on a summer day for lunch and sat on their patio. It was a nice, Good experience. Delicious food. A bit pricey but worth it. They pizza and the salmon were unforgettable.

We decided to come to Pasqualino for my mom’s birthday. There were 9 of us. Our server was Fernando. He was very patient with our group and very quick with my drinks. Ordered a few things and tried a bit of everything. I personally ordered the steak dinner with the blue cheese. The blue cheese complimented the steak beautifully. I then tried the gnocchi with pesto sauce. I usually am not a fan of gnocchi but this one changed my mind completely. Now the bolognese…I could write a story about the bolognese alone. As soon as I took the first bite of the bolognese, I felt like I was transported back to Rome like it was my first time, getting bolognese near the train station. Needless to say, it was absolutely wonderful. The salmon was like butter, not something I myself would typically get in a restaurant but my mom got it so I had to try it. I also tried an espresso martini here, it might have been one of the best espresso martini’s I’ve ever had. Dessert was the perfect way to end the night, there was a bit of confusion with whose birthday but it was just funny to us, no one was offended. I would say that the tiramisu was better than the creme brûlée - I usually don’t even like tiramisu. Lucky we got an extra one because I took it. It was very creamy and light. So customer service was great, food was amazing. Price was very fair for a nice restaurant and portion sizes. I would say the only bad thing is the parking. But it’s Main st. What can you expect. I would definitely come back. Had a spectacular time.

Omg, this place is fantastic, it's like a fairytale land. They have a very nice setup great for friends gathering or romantic dinner. We had delicious meals as well, and the main course is very decent size however salads are a bit small. The service was good as well. We had so much fun. We were celebrating a birthday there and they had a unique way of singing happy birthday. We enjoyed every moment in this restaurant and we would love to come back many more times to try all the dishes on the menu.

Food was delicious and the service was great. We tried the duck, calamari, and pizza with prosciutto and figs. We loved the ambiance and would recommend this restaurant to celebrate any special occasion!

A place that not only makes you feel like family, but feeds you like family. An incredible menu, Chef Dominic , Maria and family have been nothing but hospitable and genuine. Hands down, best Italian restaurant in Milton.

What a beautiful day to Visit Milton. My girlfriends and I have amazing time at tos this restaurant. Elegant dining room, pristine white table clothes, clean, spacious, freshly prepare appetizers, mouth watering pizza and excellent service. 100% recommend 👌

We were the only table of black women at the restaurant and the first waiter was very rude and pushy. The second said a few times "this is very expensive just not sure if you want to spend this much" when we were asking him about wine pairings. Alluding to the fact that we can't afford our choices, when we never mentioned anything about price. I highly doubt he said that to the white patrons. We were also interrupted by a white woman who came over to our table to ask us all where we were from aside from us all being Canadians. She lingered at our table for like 5 mins awkwardly trying to praise us for being black? It was weird and awkward and unwarranted. The food was good but I would never recommend or eat there again.

I booked a reservation for dinner for my spouse's birthday and our immediate family. They asked me for a credit card to hold the reservation. I had to call to cancel the reservation (have to leave town) only to find out they had already charged $200 on my card and even though the reservation is still in 2 weeks from now the owner, Maria Pasqualino, refused to refund my money. No one disclosed to me that my credit card was going to be charged with a non-refundable deposit, nor did I sign any documentation or have any written contract with them binding me to anything. What a terrible and shady thing to do, not to mention it's definitely not a honest way to make a living.

Absolutely garbage place. Most terrible “fine dining” restaurant I’ve ever been to. We had a young man serve us, and when we asked for water, he pointed to a female waitress/ hostess and told us to go ask for water from here. Wtf?! Completely shocked we sat there confused. Eventually he brought us water in a bottle $6charge on the bill. Didn’t even bother asking what type of water we wanted or acknowledge us. was served cold soggy pizza. Fine dining of milton - laughable

Very poor service. Should not treat a young couple so rudely and make them feel as they are not important. Even though this restaurant caters to an older crowd, a 25 year old young woman and man should be treated as a valued customers. I was so disappointed to hear of my daughter's horrible experience when she was out celebrating her 25th birthday this past weekend. Never going back to Pasqualino's.

FOOD:
We had come here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon at around 12:15 pm. I had settled on the Veal Sandwich & Garden Salad Meal (although I was told I could have the Caesar Salad instead; $18.00), while my mother had settled on the Margharita Pizza ($19.00). We were first served a small plate of fresh bread, which tasted marvellous, very fresh, with just the perfect texture, alongside a plate of oil and vinegar mixed together. When I had dipped the bread into the oil and vinegar mixture, it was pure heaven, absolutely delicious!

In terms of my Veal Sandwich & Caesar Salad, I was beyond impressed with how delicious everything tasted. I had asked for no peppers on my sandwich however, I was disappointed to note that there were olives on there (which I didn’t like however, wasn’t told they would be on there). I took the olives off, and bit into the sandwich, which tasted wonderful! The veal was very tender, with melted cheese, and a pesto-type of paste spread on both sides of the bread. The bread was crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside, with just the perfect flavouring with the veal and cheese. I loved every bite of this sandwich, with my mother agreeing on how delicious it tasted.

When I had noticed my Caesar Salad, I was confused as to why there was a waffle-like item on the top of it. Then, when I took a piece of it, I realized it was crunchy cheese, which was meant to be broken-up and sprinkled on the top of the salad. Also, the salad was presented on the plate rolled-up, but when I had used my fork to smooth it down, it was a large portion-size, and tasted absolutely divine! It had a wonderful dressing on it, which wasn’t too creamy, and very tasty. One thing I noticed though was that there were no bacon bits, which was not too much of a problem as the salad was delicious without it.

My mother’s Margharita Pizza was also very delicious, with it being made very thin, with just the perfect amount of cheese and sauce, not too overpowering. It was also a very large pizza, with extra to take home. Overall, we were very impressed with how amazing everything tasted, and loved all of the food that we were given. I was able to tell that this food was homemade, with a lot of effort put into making it taste, and look perfect.

ATMOSPHERE:
When we had walked-into this restaurant, we were amazed at how beautiful it looked; from the pictures on the walls, to the light-fixtures, to the couches at the tables. Everything about this restaurant resembled elegance, and we felt as though we were royalty. Even the couch that I was sitting on at our table was diamond-studded, making me feel important! All of the decor was chic and modern, with a lot of room in-between all tables and chairs. The only thing was that it was very cold, with the temperature being a bit too low for the cold weather that we were experiencing outside at that time.

SERVICE:
We were greeted promptly once we had arrived at this restaurant, which made us happy to see such good service. However, the one thing that really disappointed us throughout our entire stay was the lack of prompt service as we dined. We were given our menus, and had to wait at least ten minutes before we were approached for our orders to be taken. The individual that came to take our orders didn’t apologize for the wait, and seemed to be rushed. We noticed that there was a large party taking place in the basement of the restaurant however, that shouldn’t have deterred from the rest of the restaurant being served promptly. It then took us a long time to get our bill once we were finished, something that shouldn’t have happened at a restaurant of this calibre. Overall, the service was definitely lacking during our stay, with no apology whatsoever.

COST:
1 Veal Sandwich & Caesar Salad Meal: $18.00 + 1 Margharita Pizza: $19.00: $37.00 + Tax = $41.81

WOULD YOU RETURN?
We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. However, we found the service to be horrible, and the food was a bit too expensive for just a weekday lunch.

Manager was very rude. Went with a large party and at the end of the night when it was time to settle the bill, she spoke to my friend who organized the event, very rudely and I could hear her on the other side of the room. When I went to stand up for my friend, she was very rude to me as well, speaking over me and not listening to my concerns. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! The food is not worth the experience. This was not our first time there and our last experience was nothing like this. My food was forgotten along with a few other peoples, they would not let us split the bill, just a mess!

Food is amazing, so is the ambience. All the servers are friendly and professional. I had the spicy linguine pasta which was delicious. Would go again!

We had Veal Marsalis and Chicken risotto with wild mushrooms. Delicious. We had Calamari for an appetizer and ended with a very nice capucino. Service was slow but they were very busy. We were greeted immediately as we entered and we're quickly seated even though we arrived early for our reservation.

This place is GORGEOUS. If you haven't seen it post-renovation I highly recommend checking it out. The food, wine and dessert are all top notch.

Fabulous Food & Environment. The quaint, warm and inviting environment along with the attentive staff accompined by the homemade italian food is the reason why we take all family and friends back to Pasqualino's. The Cesar Salad is like no other and any dish I have tried has been plentiful portions, full of flavour and beautiful in presentation. The staff are friendly, attentive and informative. I would highly recommend spending your evening at this cozy restaurant. You walk away feeling euphoric.

Fantastic Italian. This place will be expanding I've heard post Bahound House moving (was next door). Great seafood and pasta experience.

After the milton farmers market on Main Street I stumbled across Pasqualino's. I came in and was immediately greeted at the door by a beautiful young waitress. She gave us a beautiful table close to the window. I glanced at the menu and quickly realized that all the pastas are made in house! I was amazed! I ended up ordering a Chicken Sandwich with a side Caesar. Ohh and did I tell you that the focaccia bread is also homemade and freshly baked in the morning?! It was the best sandwich I have ever ever had!
Not only is the food beyond amazing but The service was incredible! Our waitress answers all of our questions and was genuinely sincere!
I can't wait to go back! The best place I've been to!

My husband and I went last Saturday night. We had a reservation and seated immediately. I ordered a Caesar salad and fettuccine with broccoli and sundried tomatoes. My husband ordered the lamb special. I got my salad in a timely manner but waited a long time for the mains to come out. I asked the waiter where our meals were and why a family who came in after us without reservations were already eating. He replied they didn't order an appetizer. Really?? A salad is an appetizer. It took an hour from the time we sat down to when we got our meal. The waiter never so much as apologized or came by to see how our meals were. My pasta was very good and my husband said his lamb was good but not worth $38. I've been here several times before and never had such atrocious service.

Absolutely horrendous service, waited over 90 minutes for our food, a shrug from the waitress when we asked about the delay. Overpriced, understaffed & over-rated. Will never return- would expect better service from the counter staff at McDonalds.

My husband and I went there on a Friday night and though service was slow, the food was absolutely incredible and well worth the wait! Everything was so fresh and tasty that I can't wait to go again and try something different.

I was blown away by the food. Super tasty, nice presentation. Everything was perfect except the service which was a bit slow considering we were about 5 people in the whole restaurant. I wouldn't mention this since it really wasn't that bad but when I shed out $150 for a diner, I like the service to be flawless. If you can afford it, try it. You won't be disappointed.

Rather nice. The atmosphere was good, music was light jazz at good conversational volume. My wife got a chicken sandwich, I got a vegetable sanwich. We liked both sandwiches. Service was quick and polite. Price was a bit high but not unreasonable.

BEST ITALIAN RESTURANT..... This is my most favorite resturant, All our special occasions are spent here. my husband proposed to me here and they gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate , this is my first choice.
The atmosphere here is very friendly, and you are treated like family, Maria and Domenic the owners make us feel like family when we come and they know us by our first names. The food is excellent home made pasta and sauce. i recommend this resturant over any other Italian place i've been to. Try it out it is a great place .

Enjoyed my time here. Overall food was great and staff very friendly. locals are known by first name here. which is nice.

i had the app platter, which was pretty expensive, but tasted great.

our mains were delicious.

loved it, not a cheap place for a weeknight out, but i would go back.

Ok restaurant, overpriced for the quality of food and slow service. We had dinner for 2 and it was almost 200$

Great. I've had the opportunity of eating here several times and the food has always been very fresh and well prepared. Even when it gets busy, the chef still takes the time to make everything look and taste great.
Love Food
I've been there 3 times with large groups. They cannot do large gatherings. All three times the food was horrible. Every time you asked the waiters for anything, they acted like you asked them to walk on fire. Service was so slow. Steak was a grey slab with no seasoning. Not exaggerating. It was shameful. Will never spend my hard earned money there again.

Such good food. This is our favourite restaurant in town. My wife and I go here for all of our special occasions and just celebrated our 14th anniversary here last month. They take very good care of you here, and the food is second to none with some very unusual items on the menu. Cannot say enough about this place.

Details and a dedication to excellence. Pasqualino Cafe & Bistro really stands out for me. What a fantastic experience!

The minute I walked in I was greeted right away. The service is excellent - homey and friendly yet the atmosphere is modern and chic.

Fresh rustic breads served with olive oil, herbs and balamic vinegar remind me of a long ago trip to Italy. I ordered the seafood linguine and glanced around the dining area, which has so much for the eye to take in. Warm natural wood finishes, some brass and earthy greens, yellows, reds - the diningroom is restful to the eyes. Local artwork is displayed on the walls. Everything is so neat, clean and crisp.

My linguine wasmade by the chef/owner himself and presented in a parchment paper pouch, which the server sliced open after he placed it on the table. Cool presentation! The aroma of fresh ingredients wafted out of the opening.

I've had seafood linguine many times, but this was exceptional. There was a generous helping of mussels, crab and shrimp cooked just right in a fresh Sambuca fennel tomato sauce. I topped this off with a glass of pinot grigio.

I had an individual cheesecake with fresh fruits on top for dessert. It was so delicious!

The service here is friendly and so attentive, yet not intrusive. No detail is missed, from the presentation of the food, to the design on the tables to the impeccible tailored shirts of the wait staff. The location was great, right on Milton's Main St. with free parking in the back. I would reccommend this restaurant for a group celebration, a birthday, and definitely for a romantic dinner.

I live in Mississauga and Milton is just next door, but it felt closer than I'd imagined (only 15 minutes drive from Mississauga City Centre) on the 401. I will definitely return again and again.

Yowza - Excellent food!. Our group celebrated our 1st anniversary here last night, and it was sublime! The food was phenomenal! One of the guys had the Elk, and it was truly excellent. I had a pasta dish with porcini mushrooms and scallops that was to DIE for. Seriously, it made my eyes roll back in my head. We had no complaints whatsoever about the food or the service. The portions were perfect - I was quite full but managed to eat it all (it was all I could do not to lick the plate... but that's probably too much information) and two of our group even had dessert, which looked wonderful (they said it was) but I couldn't manage another bite. Our waiter, Frank, was very nice, and even took our picture for us.

The four of us would definitely recommend Pasqualino's to anyone wanting a fantastic meal, and we will definitely come here again. YUM.

GOOD FOOD-GREAT SERVICE. Ahh Pasqualino Cafe & Bistro .. Okay first of all we went on one of the hottest days on record and the waitress was incredibly kind and hurried and got us some ice water and took care of us like we were family.. She brought us some yummy bread and dipping sauce and explained to us all about it.. She also explained the menu and was so polite and kind to everyone in our family.. I didnt know what to order as it all looked yummy so she recommended I try the mushroom risotto.. She also told me that if i order it it will take a while but worth it.. OH was she RIGHT !! I could see the chef making the risotto right in front of my eyes and how much work he had to do to prepare it.. He spent so much time and care and when the waitress brought it to me it was the most tastiest dish ever.. Was piping hot and fresh and just the right amount of ingredients with fresh mushrooms also.. Every day you will see their chalkboard outside on the sidewalk with their specials with homemade soups and pastas and dinners and when i drive by I am so tempted to detour and eat there because this is definately a treasure in Milton.. Two thumbs up to this great Italian Bistro.. Hope they are there for many many more years
