Super cute little cafe, lots of local charm. Nice sandwiches and baked goods, a book library and local arts and handicrafts. Worth a stop!

Cute café in a small little town by the water. Staff are very friendly and they not only have good food but also art and local products.

A really fantastic little cafe in a picturesque town along Quebec's fabled highway 132. Cannot suggest a stop strongly enough if you are in the area. Good coffee and food, local gifts, tea and more. Great people. Say Hi from Shaun for me if you stop by!

Awesome staff, superb ambiance and wonderful coffee and snacks. They sell antiques and hand made products that are cute, well made and inexpensive! Plus, it's just on the beach, so get your coffee to go and take a stroll!

This is the most wonderful spot in the Gaspesie!! Handcrafted gifts, great food and all nature of coffees and teas, visiting artist expositions, musical evening (Thursdays 8 to 10) and always lots of wonderful art and photograph, and more. It is the place to go as soon as you arrive in beautiful Metis-sur-mer!

Absolutely amazing place. The food is spectacular (especially the grilled cheese with bacon jam) and their products they sell are unique and hand made. Definitely a must try!

Relaxing place for great coffees, light meals, bright and warm, always congenial. Art and gifts, books, conversation if you want it. A fine way to unwind.

Amazing little café across the road from the water. Delicious food and drink as well as beach themed ware. Cozy atmosphere.

This place is so special in so many ways. The owner and the staff are wonderful. The atmosphere is so welcoming and so cozy. They sell delightful treats from breakfast through afternoon tea. They sell wonderful treasures from near and far: I can't go in there without finding something that I can't live without. Enjoy!

Great place to do Christmas shopping with a cappuccino! Agree with everyone who waxed poetic about the owner and her staff who make your visit a wonderful experience.

Rendre une visite au Café sur mer, c’est se trouver en famille – whether English ou français ou un peu de both, everyone speaks or signals to everyone; tout le monde se sent comme chez eux. Great food; great musical soirées avec café et pâtisseries; dangerously fun things to buy to wear, hang, play with, read, etc. whether found abroad or made by hand by people in the region – all are good value. Thoughts of CSM keep my heart warm though cold grey winters away until I return.

Great spot to find things you have given up on finding and the soups are yummy! Don't miss this spot

A must visit on a tour of the Gaspe. Tucked away in a charming village, Metis Sur Mer, off the beaten track. Excellent coffee, amazing art work (for sale!) and a delightful selection of objets for the house and cottage. A pleasure to visit.
