AMAZING AMAZING FOOD!! The food and service speaks for itself-while standing in line wondering what to order the patrons in the shops gave me wonderful suggestions. Choose strawberry waffles which tasted divine and a chicken cutlet sandwich (switched out the bun for a sesame bagel) and it was the best sandwich that I have every had. So simple yet amazing food. Place is cash only and the service was amazing. Small local mom and pop shop that I am now going to be a regularly going to, closure or not.

This is only half of the BLT on a Sesame Bagel!! It was amazing!!!! They don’t skimp out. Portion was huge!! Quality is excellent and ratio of lettuce to bacon to tomato was perfect! Would definitely come back!! Staff were friendly and helpful too! Very happy with my first experience!

Always heard about this family restaurant and last week we visited it for the first time. We like the outside seating. The staff cleaned the table very well. The bacon pouched eggs big breakfast was good. 0.75 for coffee refill. The price is good for breakfast. I definitely will visit more often

Butter tarts are one of my favs and theirs is fairly good. I am a little picky and do prefer a crust that is more crunchy. The filling was a little too sweet and the tart would benefit from a higher crust to filling ratio. Would I get one again? Absolutely! There seems to be a lot more here to give my taste buds an gastronomical delight and cant wait to return !

Following a doctor's appointment I came across this bakery. They were super nice and added for extra goodies into my bag. OMG! DELICIOUS!!! I will come back and will recommend others to come back. You cinnamon buns are fantastic! I loved your butter tarts. I could just go on. Thank you for the great quality and service.

Can't go wrong with peameal bacon on sesame bagel! Lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, lots of bacon.

I have been here multiple times for years. It was normally too busy for my taste but, the food was fantastic so it made sense. A few days ago I went to Mothers Deli run by a good friend Ted of mine and he had no buns. Gave me delicious fresh meat and cheese but alas he had no bread. I jogged over to T&T forgetting they are cash only, asked for 5 fresh Kaisers. Buddy behind the counter found 5 super fresh buns for me. "That'll be five bucks." I had 0 cash, he said "hit me back later" thank you guys so much.

The food is high quality, the service is even better, the staff are very friendly, and they have different specials everyday, just call in and ask. The breaded chicken cutlet, with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on top combine for a tasty sandwich. The breakfast and lunch menus are priced well, have decent sized portions, and taste great. You have to check this place out!

It's a mediocre restaurant at best. From a bakery perspective, I've had far better...old decor, just not what I would expect and doesn't deserve 3.9 stars IMO

Best breakfast place to go when youre in the main street markham area. I love how the sitting and ordering is simple. You seat yourself and you line up to order. Rather than waiting for someone to come to your table. Decor is out of date but hey, the food is amazing! Their desserts are really good as well.

Wow the bagel BLT sandwich was heavenly good, but oh boy the service was so slow! (For take-out). And they take cash only. I go back when I'm retired , have time to go to the bank the night before and to wait for my sandwich for 30 minutes.

Nice Polish family owned, can't go wrong with anything here. Always fresh and tastes great!

Terrible Service & Atmosphere. Terrible service. The food was delayed by 45 minutes and when a customer complained of the delay, the owners punched the counter and threatened the customer to never complain again and return for service. The customer that, despite it, was very polite and walked out of the restaurant. The owner never apologized for his behaviour and the atmosphere of the place changed immediately.

All day breakfast was super tasty!! But be aware the wait for your food can be super slow even for simple stuff (and there is really nothing complicated there at t&t) and they only take cash, not even debit card. There is a nice feel to this place as well, very unpretentious ad relaxed. (yes decor looks like the typical slightly dated diner... It really is a "local" kinda place.)

-----19 Feb, 2012-----

All day breakfast was super tasty!! This place is awesome. The best home cooked food.

My little Gem. I found this place on a whim and boy was I pleased. Ever since then, I've been recommending this place to everyone I meet as my favourite brunch place. It is kind of tough since when I mention T&T they automatically think that I'm referring to the chinese supermaket, and they don't believe that T&T serves breakfast.
Portions are filling all for a great price. They have great meat pies, great quiche and their standard toast, bacon, eggs and hash are somehow better than many other places. I have no idea how they do it.
The soups are delicious and hearty, just the way i like it.
The real gems are the daily specials, I honestly do not know what they are going to have each time I go, but I am excited to see what they will have. They once had a philly cheese steak and it was absolutely mouth watering. I hope I get lucky and they have that as one of the specials next time I'm there.

Closest place to a diner in Markham.. Family owned business that does simple food the right way. Great perogies, mac and cheese, and pastrami are offered on certain days of the week. Great caesar salad and sandwiches also.

Overall, this little shop offers you the goodness you'd expect from a small town cafe - homey comfort food and welcoming people.
