We have been going to Sorrento for quite a few years now and we love the food and the service and the whole staff are super. We have used it also for quite a few family functions and we highly recommend it.The quality of the food is extremely good .If you care for quality of the food rather than low graded quantity this is the best restaurant you can go to. And the food is real Italian high quality food not a Canadian Italian surrogate.

It's a great place for date night, friends gathering and family meal. I believe there is live music on Thursdays .
The staff there are very knowledgeable and friendly. I love the bread they served which was fresh and warm. Lots of salad to choose from. Great selections of seafood dishes. If you are like me enjoying risotto, I asked the owner and she said it is served during weekdays but check their daily special.

Visited on a Friday evening with a total of 10 people in our reservation. Without going into too much detail I can tell you that the food from start to finish was superb. All meals were cooked exactly as requested. Desserts were fantastic especially the lemon pound cake. I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone stating downtown Toronto is the only place you can find a five-star dining experience.
Sorrento North is a hidden gem just at the edge of Maple, ON. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating with our dietary requirements. The wait staff were very knowledge with the menu and knew how the dishes are made. The food was wonderful - the gnocchi and the eggplant parmigiana are a must try. Be sure to make reservations as it can be busy.
We have had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant a few times and have been nothing short of amazed every time.
Upon entering, we were greeted by very hospitable staff.
All of the menu items are delicious and it’s hard to pick just one. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and had great recommendations about the menus and specials that evening.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. An absolute must if someone is visiting the city.
Celebrated my wife's birthday at Sorrento north in Maple over the weekend. Nino and staff were incredibly detailed. Took the extra time to meet ahead to plan the menu options. From the hand made Ravioli to the perfectly cooked rack of lamb. Best Italian Restaurant in the city.
Don’t let the locations deceive you. Very elegant place, delicious and fresh Italian food. Great wine selection and interior is simple and elegant. The staff are super nice and helpful and you really can’t go wrong with anything g you can order. My personal favourite is the grilled squid
We celebrated our son’s engagement party with 47 people this past Sunday. Our entire meal was a huge success thanks to Nino’s passion of cooking and his thorough knowledge of Italian cuisine! Everything turned out PERFECT, flawless and most important all of our guests had rave reviews. Exactly what we had wanted. Highlights of the meal were seasonal fried zucchini flowers that melted in our mouths, penne made with delicious ciliegino sauce, steak cooked to perfection-well proportioned and so juicy and we had homemade green apple sorbet that came out with a bang! Best place to just celebrate anything, even just to dine out. Service was run impeccable by all staff, cheers to Nadia!
