Great food but...service is poor except on Saturday night. We only go on Saturday night like many others im sure. They have one waitress who only works on this evening. She runs the show with ease and competence and is an excellent knowledgeable server who knows her menu and wine list well...which is no easy task considering they have close to 350 wines to select from the world and over 100 food dishes that have all been good at her suggestion. Complete kaos otherwise if you dine any other night of the week. Wouldnt recommend going unless its Saturday. She will mean that much to your dining experience
Went here for Valentine's Day dinner. Food was very good. They had downsized their menu that night but still had a good selection to chose from. Highly recommend the crostini calabrese appetizer, it was excellent. Our main entrees were also very good. Service was just ok. Would definitely go back.
I've only tried two things from here, but have been many times. Crab cakes, and the crab penne! They are the reason I keep going back. Delicious. Service is ok..slow, but friendly. The extra costs for this or that is a tad annoying, but try those two plates and you'll love it here.
It is very very quiet inside, felt like I had I be more quiet then usual, but the food was amazing the staff was so nice and the ambiance was lovely. Its a little more expensive than palliottes but the food is a little better too
Valentines dinner. I came to La Trattoria for my Valentines day dinner and the food was excellent. Although too pricey for me usually, my entree (Veal Marsala with Risotto) was delicious.
Great food good service one of the better places to go in Maple ridge.
Fabulous!. My wife and I visited on a Friday evening. It's a small intimate dining room, but the service is great, the pasta was fabulous. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and was fresh, the sauce was perfectly seasoned and spiced, not runny and not too thick.
I grew up on authentic Italian cooking, and home made pasta gnocchi and meats. Maple Ridge has a few "Italian" styled restaurants, but they are a let down.
La Trattoria was a great experience, and we look forward to our next visit.
The decor is a little out dated, but they have an amazing wine selection, so I will take the trade off!
Great food, nice venue, good service. Sometimes a bit busy but the food is different enough to keep us coming back. Hmm The interior is modern but comfortable. We noticed that a few parties left while in the waiting area because they weren't acknowledged further by the front staff or offered cocktails by the bar staff.
This is a nice restaurant. Adult atmosphere, good food and a lovely wine selection. In my books this is one of the best restaurants in Maple Ridge. Good enough for special occasions.
