This place is amazing! A small, quaint, complete replica of a real 50's diner. The milkshakes are an absolute must, but they are a meal unto themselves! The food is so homey and delicious, and very reasonably priced. The gals that serve are all lovely, friendly, and kind. I've been looking for a place to get a good sandwich and this is definitely the spot. I had a grilled Reuben sandwich and it was everything I hoped it would be. The homestyle fries are just like how my mom made them for me as a kid. My 15 year old son actually met his match with his massive breakfast, lol! I haven't seen him be unable to finish his meal in over a year. He said it was the most incredible breakfast he'd ever had! This place offers real comfort food, and the options are endless! I highly recommend this incredible diner! You won't be disappointed!
I loved the Food and it was worth the wait. I've gone to much more expensive restaurants and had horrible food, so this food was cheep for the quality.

Oh Lordy, I am stucking fuffed!!!
Ever since we saw the recent post about the 2 for 1 burger special here the Missus has been bugging me to go, and what the Missus wants, the Missus gets, so we done went and got ourselves into the minivan and scurried down the road to satiate our cravings.
I have to admit, I am so totally in love with this joint, from this classic 50s decor and music playing in the background to the quintessential american diner fare offered it is like stepping into a different time and place and I really dig it Daddy-o.....
This was the kinda place that 1970s me would hang out eating a giant platter of fries in gravy when I was skipping school and hanging around with my hooligan friends, just don't tell my parents, they still have no idea.
We opted for the aforementioned special because you have to remember that besides my many other endearing qualities I am above all....really freaking cheap! And all that grub (waaay too much for the two of us) for only $13.99 is an incredible deal.
I had a hankering for one of their legendary milkshakes so I had one in chocolate, oh god it was so absofreakinglutely delicious and thick! It's a good thing that it comes with a spoon because if you tried to finish it with the straw your head would implode and that would make it infinitely more difficult to drive home.
Although we both enjoyed our meals after putting forth our best efforts we were forced to raise the white flag and surrender, I am pretty sure that 1985 me could have put most if not all of it away but 2019 me could not, not even close...
So 2 burgers (added cheddar to mine), 2 massive piles of fries, a milkshake, and a bottle of lemonade with tax came to under 25 bucks....way bueno dude.
So if you are old and in the mood for a blast from the past, or young and want to see how we lived before smartphones and sushi took over the world then give them a try.
+2 because no, I don't think that I could eat like this every day but we had a really good time.
I`m pleasantly surpised, I give bobby sox a 9 for the food and service. I used to come.here years ago and it wasnt nearly this good. Keep this up and ill.be back.
I really like how there is a 50s diner in this small town city. It reminded me of those diners you see in those movies that take place in the 50s like Grease or something. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast meal with a veggie patty as well as a orange crush float. I was slightly disappointed with the float because I was expected them to be in those long tall glasses that you always see in those classic movies and shows, but it was in a metal cup. But whatever it still tasted good.
Great place for dessert. I've never actually eaten anything savory here before, but that's because the milkshakes are my favorite. I live nearby, so this is where I take my friends out for a special treat when they are over. My family and I used to come here all the time for "family day" and get milkshakes. The root bear float is my favorite! If you're looking for a sweet treat, the milkshakes are sure to satisfy. Staff is friendly and the 50's theme is so fun! I love coming in here to sit in a booth and look at all the decorations. Makes me feel like I've stepped back in time :)
Great milkshakes, fresh fries, good comfort food on a cold day. Definitely a repeat when we're in the mood for a home cooked meal without the effort.
Amazing!. I love this place. You can get a good home cooked type meal for cheap. I can randomly pick from the menu and find a delicious meal. And for an EXCELLENT price! My only wish is that they delivered!
Had the Mac abd cheese burger... It was amazing! Also had deep fried pickles abd they were really good! As for the service.... Not overly impressed! We were not offered drink refills and she charged us for gravy and never brought it to us! Overall it was good but the service was lacking!
Took my brother here and we found the breakfast very good. It was not crazy with grease like other comments. The girls were friendly and it was a busy atmosphere. We will come back for shakes next time.
Old Time Menu - 50's Diner w/ the grease. OK, this is a good place for burgers, milkshake, traditional unhealthy breakfast and the old style diner menu. Nothing fusion, fancy, diabetic friendly, it's a 50s diner when cholesterol is not a concern.
Burgers are big, too big for some mouths, fresh, tasty, satisfying. Thumbs up. No diet burger here. Milkshake looks great, will try next time when it's not freezing outside.

The place tries to be hip but looks a bit greasy (which may be hip for the 50s :)
Reasonable prices for old times comfort foods. If you want to be healthy, don't eat there too often. Otherwise, it is a nice enough restaurant. When I want a big tasty burger with no fancy modern twist to it, this is a place I will go.

Went back for strawberry milkshake in the summer, yum! They use real ingredients like ice cream, milk, ok strawberry syrup not so real, etc. - nice flavour, not too sweet, perfect texture. Definitely like it.
I'd definitely return for another milkshake. Delicious milkshakes of multiple flavors, flat top burgers slathered in a mountain of fried onions and cheese, prompt service - What more could you ask for? This is an interesting little find, and I plan on returning when in the area next. Perhaps by that time I will have mustered up the guts to dry the deep fried pickles or their huge order of chili cheese fries!
If you wanna get full on good, honest diner food this is the place, good real burgers and the chillie is good too , hit and miss with the service
Classic 50's diner with good food and friendly staff. Lots of regulars seem to come here. I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

...your arrival is announced with the ringing of a mini cowbell, as it rattles against the door hinge. This gets annoying fast. This is the kind of diner you would see on an episode of "diners. drive ins, and dives". They stand apart with their 50's theme decor and food. In every direction nothing matched, and it is not suppose to. It's the 50's come alive with Elvis posters, an old timey coke machine, and music from a jukebox. The teal walls clashed with the red trim and everything was almost an eye sore for those not familiar with this small town dinner. Booths were made squeaky by red sparkly synthetic leather. Seats around table were made from a combination of teal and blue , cloth and plastic. And the bar by the soda jerk was lined with leopard print swivel seats. Each piece classic 50's and clashed with the black and white checkered floors. Old records, guitars, opened umbrellas, and scooters and tricycles hung from the ceiling. Low
Walking in the restaurant is like walking in a time machine. Not that I lived in the 50's but I could imagine that this is exactly what it looked like.
Was it special or great in any way? No, but it was a good greasy breakfast and the kind of place I look for each time I’m in a new town.
