Italian at it's finest. Very impressive. Are we in Maple Ridge or Italy?? Great service, amazing carbonara and a cannelloni with sausage and Gorgonzola to die for! We will be back with friends and family.

Our favourite!! Great atmosphere, great service and incredible food. If you're a fan of mussels, you won't find better than here. We have dinner here frequently and have never had a bad meal.
Best Pasta in Ridge. The restaurant is tucked into a corner and isn't obvious to notice when passing by, but what a surprise Il Corsaro is. They serve by far the best pasta in Maple Ridge. All the dishes are delicious and well-prepared. Service is friendly, though it seems the most common regulars will definitely get the upper hand in terms of attention. The restaurant design is moody and atmospheric, a good place for a dinner date. Overall a fantastic experience, and definitely the place to go for pasta in town.

A Maple Ridge Treasure!. Other restaurants should check this place out to see how its done. Food is always delicious and as fresh as you can get. Just like Mama used to make!. Authentic italian home cooking.that's worth the wait. Been to Venice and this place reminds me of the great pastas I had there! Service is very homey and attentive! My only pasta place to go now..
Decent all around itailian restaurant.. Fantastic meal from appetizers to desert. Lots to choose from on the menu and everything came fresh.
It took me 2 years of living in Maple Ridge to try this restaurant, all because I wasn't sure of "how it looked from the outside". I should of NEVER judge this book by it's cover. The food inside is worth it.
Now agreed with some, the decor is a little.......off, and you have to listen to Italian Mariachi.
This restaurant serves really decent food. I would recommend this place to family & friends. Certainly on of the best Italian restaurants in Maple Ridge.
Mussels!!!!. Just got back from San Francisco and ate at the famous Scoma's seafood restaurant and had the mussels there which were out of this world. Been to the Il Corsaro before and pastas always good and everybody is friendly we feel at home there. I had the mussels for the first time and they were equally as good as Scomas way cheaper and more of them. Very impressed and way closer than San Francisco
Sensational!. Had my 40th b day party there we booked the whole restaurant with about 30 people with a set menu and it was delicious. we had the run of the whole place and the service was tremendous. we had a choice of pasta shells stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach lobster crab ravioli in a white wine cream sauce with a drizzle of white truffle oil and osso bucco. i had the lobster rav and it was delicious. everybody loved it. food was awesome and we were treated like gold. thumbs up!
Get the Sicilian Vegetable Soup!. Went here on a rainy, cold day for hot comforting food. The Sicilian Vegetable Soup may look plain but it has amazing flavour and a large variety of ingredients. I highly recommend it with a dipped ciabatta bun. The gnocchi was also delicious but very rich, I couldn't finish a whole order of it.
GO GET THE SOUP!
Finally!. I love this little place. i can actually relax and have a couple glasses of good wine and eat great clean italian food. foodies will love this joint. my husband wasnt the happiest because they didnt have steak but he enjoyed the veal dish he had. we'll be back!
I go there all the time, and the waitress and chef are always friendly! My personal favorite is the Alfredo sauce, it's so creamy and garlicy. This restaurant is highly reccomened by me. Kid friendly!
An affordable, romantic retreat. Excellent food with great service combined with an atmosphere just like Italy. Highly recommend the spicy arrabiata sauce with meatballs on spaghetti. Might need reservations on busy nights, but not too busy at lunch.

Felt like new york!. Very sexy decor perfect for a date. you can get a pasta special with a salad for 10.95 or to 17.95 quality food and fresh. warm service makes you feel at home. great musis as well jazz standards and gypsy kings etc. my date was impressed.

Unpretentious, but traditional. Il Corsaro was on Commercial Drive for many years going back to the 70's. The son of the original owner operates the restaurant in Maple Ridge. It's a small and intimate place with a traditional decor.
Several veal and other dishes are on the menu, but the many varieties of pasta and sauce are the feature of this restaurant. They are made with lots of fresh ingredients in the Italian styles. Some tastes and textures may be unfamiliar if you're used to the standard pasta preperations offered at many restaurants, but the waiter is very helpful with explaining things. Ask lots of questions and tell her what you like. There is usually a $10.00 feature, and other features for a bit more. If the chicken or shellfish are offered, go for it: the chicken is deliciously seasoned and "fall off the bone" and the mussels or clams are fresh and tasty. The Sicilian vegetable soup sometimes offered with the featured dishes is also very good, especially on a chilly, wet day. I don't drink wine, but am told the selection is good.
I'm a regular, so may be a bit biased, but I haven't encountered better pasta in the city.
everything is made to order and is as fresh as possible. They also don’t even have a freezer and opt to buy everything daily. I know I could certainly tell that it was amazingly fresh and not only was the food great but it also had a real family feel. The service was excellent you could see lots of regulars coming in as well which bring the atmosphere to the next level. I would definitely come back!
