Lahave Bakery - Mahone Bay - Photo album

It's tiny and if you aren't paying attention you'll miss it. But, you will love everything inside. Their avocado sandwich (according to my boyfriend) was amazing and I had a gluten free black bean brownie. The brownie was decadent, staff friendly and prices were reasonable.
Had heard a lot about this bakery but only bought 2 herb and cheese buns last Sunday. We ate them the same day. What a disappointment- they were supposed to be fresh but were stale, so dry I couldn't eat it all. The sweets looked good in the showcase though.
I stopped in for a breakfast wrap to go. It was very good but she forget to put the bacon in it. We have bought breads and sweets from them before, all very good.
Oh the food is delicious. Prices are good. I bought a lemon square and a raspberry shortbread cookie. I wish i had bought more. When i go back to Mahone Bay will pay the bakery another visit
We had some delicious pastries here that were perfect before walking around the city. You can't go wrong with anything since it's all made in house, but get a sandwich and then a pastry to top it off.
LaHave is a wonderfully petite bakery tucked away in one corner of the building. Inside, it's just as small, with only a single case of sweets featuring a few squares and cookies. On top, there were a couple of additional items, but I had the impression they seemed to be more of a lunch place, adver
Don't be fooled by the humble exterior. This place does the best sandwiches, lots of sweet stuff, bread of course, and locally roasted coffee. Avocado melt for the win! Bonus: they're open all year.
This is a cozy little bakery, the staff were super friendly. If you are ever in the mahome bay area stop by and say hello and get yourself a nice fresh baked good.
