Review Restaurant Ambrosia - Longueuil

Joshua De Serres
It’s great to see a family restaurant like Ambrosia have so many vegan options. This is probably the place with the most vegan options in Longueuil (St-Hubert). The poutine is absolutely delicious 10/10 and the pizza was great. If I had one critic I’d say the pizza could have used more sauce, but that’s just my opinion, the crust, toppings and vegan cheese were fantastic. I will definitely order from here again and try out some of their other vegan dishes.

Paid close to $40 for me and my family and I have to say I'm disappointed on all of the items that we ordered. The main dish was a pork "assiette" that I'm used to order on many arab/greek places and it usually cost $12 for beef and around $10 to $11 for chicken or pork. On their online menu they had the pork "assiette" for $19 without any description of quantity, or photos, or information on how many it would serve. For the price, I thought it was a larger portion. Well, its not, its the same quantity as other places for double the price. And the quality is pretty much the same too. It was not bad, it was okay, just EXTREMELY overpriced. Then, we also ordered a small poutine for $7 and it was a good price and the portion was adequate, but it was very bland. Cant say that I recommend the poutine. Finally, the dessert was also not that good (cheese cake). To finish it off, they simply forgot our entree (garlic bread). Reading other peoples reviews, they seem to like this place (currently at 4 stars), but then again most reviews make reference to their vegan food. So, I guess people like their vegan food, but for what I ordered, I cant say that I recommend them at all.

They have a very generous vegan menu. The pizza was one of the best I had for a while. Very satisfying and delicious. Keep up the good work.

Dis a reservation for 20 people with a month of anticipation and specified to please have a private or semi-private place. Also that i was bringing balloons and some decor for a birthday/gender reveal. Last minute -same day- they say we can not bring balloons or anything like it amd that the place was fully booked to give us a semi-private space. They divided my entire group into 3 tables, we couldn't even seat together properly. First and last time for me here, customer service sucks. Food is not tasty at all, it was not pleasant for me or my guests.

Could not have been happier with our choice of restaurant to host my sister's 40th birthday party. We were about 45 guests in a semi private room and the service was fantastic. The food was great as well!! I would highly recommend this restaurant for an evening out or for a private venue. Thank you Kia and all the staff who serviced us!! Well done!

We were told this restaurant had a sizable menu with many of their dishes can be made using only vegan ingredients. They did not dissapoint! The vegan options we chose were delicious. What we weren't told, was that the owner and her staff are really friendly good-hearted people who obviously have a passion for what they do. The food was great, the service was second to none! We had a great time and will be going back as often as possible!

We eat there 3-4 times a month and have tried a lot of different items , it was very good each and every time. The staff are very friendly and service is good. If by chance it takes a little longer than usual, just remember we are in a pandemic!
