Review Restaurant Lanterne - Longueuil

Great restaurant located in the old Longueuil. Nice asian decor. Staffs are friendly. Services are fast. We got our food very fast. Huge quantity of food. We did not expect that much food. We all ordered sushi. Very good. I only give 4 stars instead of 5 because i did not like the dessert. It was fried pineapple. And the pineapple did not taste anything.

Went to a birthday dinner. We were 18 people and had a menu with several choices. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The best General Tao ever since they prepared it as a whole chicken breast rather than pieces. Original and delicious. The soup was full of flavor. Service Ttentive and prof. I am looking forward to going back with a smaller table to see what they can do.

Really, really expensive for the amount of food you get on your plate. Two of us paid about 70 dollars and the amount of food on the plate was minimal. The only Asian restaurant I’ve been to where they cheap out on the amount of rice they give you, I literally got the smallest tiniest cup/bowl of rice with my chicken stir fry. The food was good though it wasn’t bad tasting, it’s just not worth paying that much money for what you get. The service was excellent though our server was very attentive.

We had the table d'hôte and everything was good. The portions were fine and the service was good. Very nice place to go !

Great food but the service was terrible. We had a reservation for 9 people and they gave us 2 round tables. Between the entrees and the main dish, we had to wait 40 minutes. The bus boy dropped plum sauce on my wife's dress while removing the dirty dishes. We had mentionned that we had tickets for a show and needed to get out quickly. Even after the request, it took another 35 minutes to get our dessert and bills. We missed the show due to the staff's lack of concern. I was not at all impressed with the poor service.

While we looked for this restaurant details in internet , we found a coupon on line for a special promotion . The website would state “show this to your waiter”, but when we did the waitress explained a paper version was needed . After further explanation and talking ,she talked to the manager and finally we got the promotion price. She was great in helping, but the manager seamed upset. It’s uncomfortable to have to discuss these things, if the restaurant offers promotions, customers should not need to make a point to get them. If so, just stop adding specials or clearly advise the requirements. Other than this, service was good and food was fair, but with this experience ,honestly, I just can go to another Asian place and have the same or better food for a comparable price.

The food was exquisite and the service was excellent! I would definitely be coming back here.

Nous avons malhreusement eux, une très mauvaise experience. Le serveur avait oublié de passer notre commande et nous avons du attendre pas loin de 1h15 avant de recevoir nos assiettes. C'est le gérant qui est venus nous demandes, après pas loin d'une heure d'attente si nous avions commander.... Par la suite le serveur est venu nous voir nous expliquant qu'il avait beaucoup de monde et que c'est pour cela que c'est long, le gérant est revenus après 15 minutes avec nos assiettes, pour nous dire que le serveur était nouveau et qu'il n'avait pas commandé nos assiettes.... En plus, l'assiette de ma femme était froide...

Plutôt désagréable service très lent, repas poulet grillé et vermicelle étaient froid, pas de sauce, pas de sel ou poivre sur la table. Très déçu surtout pour le prix assez élever.

Bonne bouffe, apportez votre vin de retour, services impeccable....génial

Les sushis étaient très bons! Le rouleau Samouraï nous a particulièrement impressionné!

J'y suis allée avec mère et ma soeur pour son anniversaire (ce que, j'avais mentionné lors de ma réservation et par la suite, à notre serveuse). Pas de problème on sert un dessert et on chante une chanson qu'elle me dit. Après avoir terminé notre repas, on a débarrassé la table et puis, plus rien. Nous avons essayé en vain d'attirer l'attention jusqu'à ce qu'une autre serveuse vienne nous voir pour nous dire que nous devions quitter car, nous étions là depuis assez longtemps! J'ai mentionné de nouveau l'anniversaire et que, nous aimerions un dessert supplémentaire ainsi que du café. Elle est revenue et a littéralement 'garoché' le dessert d'anniveraire sur la table (oubliez la chanson) et, ils ont pris 20 minutes pour apporter celui de ma mère qui, avait un gôut plutôt douteux...J'avais découvert ce resto avec ma soeur il y a quelques mois et, étions très enthousiaste d'y retourner et, de le faire connaître à notre mère. Quelle déception...

J'ai commandé chez vous ce soir à 19h10 via just-eat et j'ai reçu ma commande à 21h20!! Aucune excuse du livreur qui m'a regardé comme si je chialais pour rien..

Service hyper long. Nous sommes entrés à 18:35, soupe servie à 19:30. À 2 reprises, le plat principal est arrivé avant les entrées. À 3 reprises, on nous a demandé quelles étaient nos entrées. Après 2 heures et 20 minutes d'attente, nous sommes partis. Pas d'entrées, pas de plat principal. Plusieurs tables ont été servies avant nous alors que nous étions arrivés avant eux. Quelle soirée gâché.
