Review Patisserie Rolland - Longueuil

My Vo
I like to go there for their butter croissants when I'm in the South Shore. Their croissants are big, fluffy, and buttery, but they could use more crispiness on the outside. The price is decent for the size: $2.10 taxes included. They also have decent individual cakes.

3 people try this cake, looks amazing but unfortunately out of taste . Honestly, Disappointed if you guys running off quality ingredients or the cake was over days in the patisserie place it’s better to be aware of the consequences, I ended up throwing it in the garbage and no one finished his portion!!!! I’m not getting from this place again .

My brother ordered from Chicago for a birthday cake they told him the price was $ 40 and They ended up charging double or more, I thought it was a warning, plus the cake was not delicious. Very disappointed In the end we did not know why they charged that amount, it seems to me an exaggeration $ 145

If you want to understand why in North America most pastries are such low quality, well then you need to try this place . Don't get fooled by the rating, it's probably due to the fact that tongues, mouths, palates, and tastes are not quite the same around here. This level of quality is the equivalent of a poor industrial fabrication in France. In my village, all bakeries and pastries are thousand times better than this one when actually they are not fancy at all ; just simple bakeries and pastry stores. People need to understand that when you use chemical improvers in all the recipe, no real flavor ( vanilla , etc... ) , muffins and sponge cakes made of the same pre mixed bags, - you cannot call yourself an authentic pastry store. Every single product that is made, is a poor industrial version of what the real thing is . What about the taste ? :-( straight disgusting . I 've tried most of them. Their viennoiseries ( croissants etc....) is an insult to Vienna. You know what else is an insult ? The 4.3 stars rating . It's an insult to what food and cuisine business really is.

one of favorite places around the Montreal area. Vanilla House / Chocolate House cakes are a traditional cream basis. It recalls childhood memories even from outside of Quebec/Canada.

Not acknowledging a customer and afterwards hiding from me in the kitchen to chat around with a co-worker: is a no go. So, I left the shop. Leaving all the great things behind.
