We have always been passing by the Plant Matter Kitchen and attracted by the delicious food smells all the time. We recently got the chance to try their food at lunch. We had cream of mushroom soup, the impossible burger with potato wedges, a hearty salad bowl, and kombucha. Everything was extremely flavourful. Also, there was no disturbing heavy odours although they have an open kitchen. They have a refreshing and clean environment with appetizing smells. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience. The food is wonderful with lots of options it's all vegan and has some gluten-free options for replacements. It is celiac safe they take it very seriously. The bathrooms are clean. We dined inside, but the outside patio had umbrellas and was shaded. Inside has lots of windows and different options to sit.

AMAZING!!! My friends and I went to plant matter once back in August 2021, and ever since it has been our go to restaurant. None of us are vegan, however we do have food allergies to eggs and dairy. Every time we have gone to plant matter we receive excellent service and even more amazing food. The atmosphere is lively and the staff is always very kind and patient. I always recommend plant matter to my friends and family and I cannot wait for my next meal there!

My sister and I were so, so lucky to discover Plant Matter Kitchen in the lovely walkable Wortley Village neighborhood! We shared The Boho and the Beet and Pearl Onion Salad. The presentation was gorgeous! Staff was super friendly and the service was great! We are from Michigan, US and will visit again any time we are in London.

Great place for vegetarians in Wortley Village. I'm someone that mostly eats meat-based food, however, this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It offers a variety of tasty vegetarian dishes. The place is clean with plenty of room. The service is friendly and attentive. They also have a quite and cozy atmosphere to be with your family, especially to seat with your children. In terms of cost, it is affordable for all type of budgets $$$. It is definitely a restaurant that I will return, and try other dishes from their healthy menu.

This place is pretty great. Some of the stuff is wildly undersized (e.g. the empanadas) but most of it (especially the burgers and pasta dishes) is about as expensive as restaurants that serve meat. It tastes super good and simulates meat/dairy almost suspiciously well. The eggplant parmesan is probably their best dish IMO. Once they were taking a while because they were super full and they even gave us free drinks.

Visited for some food & coffee while I worked on organizing my calendar for the week. The staff was kind, informative, and even considerate to not disrupt my work.
I got the brown sugar latte. It’s cafe good, however a little more on the “coffee” side, if that makes sense. I will be asking for extra sweet next time.
For my main I got the French Dip without mushrooms, and a side house salad. The sandwich was delicious, everything you’d want from a French dip. The house salad dressing was delicious, though I was a little unhappy with the large and few pieces of veggies on top. Some smaller pieces of cucumber and onion, and maybe julienne carrot would really level it up.
For dessert I got the Fudge cake. It was literally the best cake I’ve ever had. So decadent yet not too much chocolate, was a big piece, and had excellent presentation.
Overall, it was delicious and great atmosphere, and I will be returning. I wish I visited this spot more, as I will be leaving the area. Don’t make the same mistake I did, go now!

Went for lunch. Quick service when my mom and I arrived. Tables already have glass bottles of water when seated. Staff is friendly.
We ordered the summer salad and the Mediterranean salad.
Summer salad was surprisingly good. I didn’t expect to like vanilla in a salad, but it was amazing. The croutons, blue cheese and edamame not only tasted amazing, but filled us up before we could even finish it- its rare when I can’t finish a salad.
The Mediterranean salad was equally as satisfying. Our favourite parts were the pita chip topping, artichoke hearts and tzaziki sauce. The feta was also pretty good, could be a little bit saltier though.

First time here- with a gift certificate. Food was very tasty, especially the escargot appetizer and the artichoke dip. My hubby enjoyed his bangers and mash and my main course salad looked wonderful until I noticed the pieces of tofu were burnt on one side and all the pieces of tofu had been placed burnt side down (hoping I wouldn't notice may be?). I brought this to the attention of the waiter, who already knew why I was calling him to our table and who up until then had been efficient and pleasant. He offered to replace the tofu with non burnt tofu but no apology was forthcoming or offer to make further amends and he was somewhat less engaging afterward. Other than that- a nice place and wonderful flavours.

🌱🍽️ I recently tried out Plant Matter, and it was a great experience! Their takeout pickup service was efficient, and the staff was very welcoming. 😊 The food was not just good; it was scrumptious! 🤤 However, one minor drawback was that not all items on their menu were available for takeout. 🙁 Nevertheless, if you're looking for delicious plant-based options, Plant Matter is a must-try! 🌿👌

A delicious spot in Wortley Village. Located on Wortley Rd, it can not be able more convenient. The food was absolutely delicious and left my mouth watering with the smell of smoke.
They offered gluten free food at a cost which is unfortunate.
Worth a try but slightly expensive.

It was a great experience as we visited for the first time there. We ordered soup and Buffalo Flatbread and it was awesome (everything is vegan and completely meat free). The atmosphere, service and smiling gesture of staff was also pleasant. ☺️👍

Serious variety of dishes from hot & cold drinks & apps to full multi-course meals. This place will convince your non-veg friends of your gastronomic wisdom and to come back again. Don't know what to try BC dairy-free is new to you? - you won't regret the brown sugar oat milk latte! It's what sold me on dairy-free not being suspect!

ordered in on uber eats, got the enchiladas, chickun flatbread and santa fe burger. It is quite pricey but the food was absolutely delicious so cant complain! even my partner who isn’t vegan/vegetarian loved the fresh ingredients and unique flavours.
I can’t wait to go and try dining in !

What a wonderful restaurant! Amazing smoothies (my non vegan boyfriend loved the green one, even though he hates green veggies usually) and the courses were delicious as well. They even had live entertainment! It was so good that we came back for brunch the next day and had the farmers plate and mega bowl, both were great! Very nice staff as well. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time with few friends. When we came in we were greated and the owner help set up out table. The server was very helpful and fun. I really liked the fact that they had Kombucha as an option. The soup and salad were awesome. I really enjoyed the food and over all experience.
