Had the pleasure of visiting this Halal food and grocery store a day after it's soft opening. Met the owner, Tanveer, an energetic person who was extremely glad to share his journey and purpose behind opening the store. The aisles are still being stocked up, the meat is stored in a customer-visible freezer and they sold out of food both yesterday and today. London has long been lacking an establishment that consolidates Pakistani-Indian grocery, fresh food, and meat butchery into one experience. I had the chicken briyani which was tender and aromatic (could use a pinch less spice), the chicken tikka (could use more spice with less yogurt), and naan (which we were absolutely happy to see be made in a clay tandoor oven, though came out to be just a bit thinner than we'd like). We also picked up some goat and veal, because it just looked fresh; the butcher, Ali, told us "if there's any of that typical goat smell, bring it back" which was reassuring since we stopped buying goat in London for that reason. We've grown tired of heading to Toronto every few weeks to stock up on food, have always dreaded Aladdin's inflated prices and the inconvenience of Indo-Asian. With Jannat also on Wonderland as the aforementioned Halal staples, I'm glad to make the 5-minute drive further. As long as Jannat's customers are honest about what works and what doesn't, I see this place being around for a long time forward.
If you love food take a risk for once in your life and go in and try anything on the menu I guarantee it will blow your mind this is probably two best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life! And before we left we decided to order this dish, it was incredible especially when eating with the fresh stone oven naan.
Biryani was pretty good. Better than all the other ones I have tried so far (desi point, aroma of India, Mint leaves). Didnt like the tikka as much but it was decent.
Indo- pak restaurant serving best chicken dishes in London. Delicious yummy food at economical rate. Must try. They also have meal packages for 15-30 people at best rates.
Amazing food! So much flavour. It is by far the best place to get your dose of Pakistani/Indian food in London. The owner is extremely courteous and will go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. Love the care and attention he gives to his customers. Prices are also very good. Highly recommend.
The owner me promise to give him a review if the food was good, so here I am. The food is amazing and the owner is very courteous. Don't let the interior decor fool you, this place is legit. The only thing I would caution is the spice, I picked up for my family and the kids loved it but most of it was too spicy for them.
Jannat Foods has excellent Pakistani cuisine. Also, they have excellent and reasonable catering services. The catering packages are at very reasonable prices and affordable. The food is delicious and freshly made in real time. I and my family ordered food and everyone loved it. If anyone is looking for excellent good quality Pakistani cuisine with reasonable prices, I will recommend Jannat Foods
What an honour to enjoy dining here. When you combine exceptional food at great prices with a very friendly and engaging owner... well, you've stumbled upon something very special. It's hard to say what made the food so tasty. Sure, it was seasoned and spiced well (the rice in the biryani was as perfect as it gets) - and you could tell a lot of love and time went into the preparations... but for me it was all about the texture. They certainly know how to put their tandoor oven to good use. The chicken tandoori tikka was beautifully charred on the outside while remaining magically moist and tender inside. Simply a superb dish that I can't wait to indulge in again.
Great food is one thing (and they do it with a deft touch here), but the owner really made our meal special. Friendly and obviously enthusiastic about his work. You can feel his pride and it comes across in every aspect of the experience here. Will absolutely be back soon (I'm very curious about the beef biryani) and will tell anyone who will listen what a gem this place is.
You're doing it right. Keep up the amazing work!!
I tried chicken biryani today & all I can say that it was fresh & delicious! And best biryani in London so far.
The staff are very welcoming and impeccable, their menu had reasonable prices, as today was my first time experience with their food, I totally liked it!
Definitely, will visit again!
Thank you :)
Authentic Indian/Pakistani cuisine. Their setup is more like a takeout/catering place with relevant grocery items (spices, snacks, meats, desserts) attached to it. So if you are not familiar with it, you might feel a bit lost but the owner is very knowledgeable and attentive so not a big issue.
I love their Naan! It is freshly made to order in a clay oven and price is very reasonable, most importantly it tastes great. Last time I went I ordered some butter chicken to go with it they paired wonderfully together. (butter chicken was made with extra sauce so it's good to dip your Naan in it and also very flavorful.)
I am definitely going back to try out other dishes. My only suggestion would be maybe adding some English description on the menu screen so it's easier for customers to find out what the dish is and what exactly is in it.
We placed an order for pick up- and to start off their services, the man on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. Then my brother picked up the food and he told me about their friendly staff and quality customer service (WHICH IS AMAZING). After getting the food, I could tell by the smell of it that this is actual authentic Pakistani food. IT SMELLED SO FRESH!! ( tasted great to of course) We ordered Biryani, Naan, Seekh Kabab and Keema naan and everything tasted delicious, WE LOVED IT! Cannot wait to order here again!
The food here is very good. It is freshly cooked. I love going into this store every time and they also provide catering services. Great rates. The customer service is excellent. The owner is very welcoming and will do his best to accommodate your requirements. You can buy fresh meat, groceries and much more at reasonable prices. Compared to other south Asian and middle eastern stores, this one stands out.
One of the best chicken biryani I've had.. initially seemed wouldn't be able to finish all at once since the quantity was large and had a Nan and soda too, but everything was so delicious that I just couldn't stop eating it all. Definitely recommend!
Very very delicious food, must try! The biryani was one of the best I've had in North America and the prices are unbelievably low for such flavourful food! Also tried the Naan, it was made to order, fresh out of the tandoor oven, unlike most other places! Loved the dessert (kheer/rabdi) as well. AND the owner is super friendly and helpful! Easily one of the best places around, highly recommend it!
London's diverse culture scene just got better with Jannat Foods. The super-friendly staff, the high quality meats!, and the marvelously delicious Pakistani food is exactly what we needed. If you're looking for variety, flavor, and lots of free smiles, this place is a must visit.
Found this place and was pleasantly surprised. The food was made fresh, took some time, but was worth the wait. Kebabs were delicious, well seasoned and cooked. You can get quick indian/pakistani/afghani spices, and products while you wait. I would call my order in and pick up, though there is a table available to eat there.
I Catered Jannat Food for my baby shower and honestly, it was the best decision i made. The owner was AMAZING and he was not cheap with the food! it was a verity of everything for a reasonable price! I highly recommend for Catering or even dining in. I loved the customer service!! my husband and i was able to taste the Byriani before catering and he was so generous and NOT CHEAP!

Jannat food thank you for making my event wonderful and all my guests loved your art of food :)
Authentic Indian food close to home at very reasonable prices. Might want to ask about spicy levels before you pick up! We like it spicy but some might not.
