A decent American diner with good food. Though given the quality of food, the price is little on the higher side. The menu is limited but well curated. I tried the sirloin steak and the red hot chicken. Visited the place twice so far and will definitely go again. Though getting a table for dinner is a bit tricky here. The dessert menu should be upgraded. I tried the triple baked cookie and didn't like it much.
Great little find. Very nice food and very reasonably priced.
Atmosphere was great nice and funky and cosy.
As you can see from the pictures we had Chicken fajitas, Chicken Salad and a Pulled pork burger and signature Bulleit burger. All of which were delicious, no complaints whatsoever from the family. So a thumbs up from all of us.
The over indulgent deserts live up to the hype the chocolate freakshake was incredible.
Overall a great place to eat, good for families and great value for food.
I have been here a couple times and it has been amazing each time! The last time I went I got the sharing platter, big shot Burger and a cookie monster freakshake which is probably way more than any normal person would eat. It arrived in good time, the music was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. Make sure you book in advance as they are usually pretty busy!
I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and it was an unforgettable experience. The children had a blast, thoroughly enjoying their meals while also being treated to colour pens and paper that featured the menu. The milkshakes were delightful, but the Coca Cola float could have been better, as the ice cream had melted into the drink causing a bit of a mess. The highlight of the evening was the complimentary birthday cake and the staff singing a wonderful birthday song. It truly made my birthday extra special and unforgettable.
Really spot on.
We popped in for dinner, our waitress Magdalena was lovely, the food came out quickly and was piping hot. We left utterly stuffed and wondering what we had done ordering so much food! Of you are looking for a decent burger or ribs in central London you could do a lot worse.
Enjoyed the vegan chilli but the vegan burger was the better option, a nice generous portion of avocado. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would be good if they could add vegan dessert options to the menu.
Great quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. All staff were extremely helpful and attentive.
The quality of the food was impressive and well priced for what was on offer.
An excellent range of veggie/vegan burgers, which was honestly one of the best I've ever had! Very impressed 👍🏻
This is an Americana restaurant with good food & warm atmosphere. Mac & cheese was creamy, wonderful baked top & very filling. We added extra blue cheese to the BBQ burger, very tasty & served with a good portion of fries. We split a salted Carmel milk shake, wonderful flavor but a bit liquidity. Could've been a little thicker. Overall a good experience, general manager was really warm & friendly.
Wonderful 1st visit to Maxwells Covent Garden on a busy Sunday Afternoon!
Great astmosphere & great food with fun milkshake options as a great alternative to cocktails.
I was particularly impressed with the children's menu which was fun & a real pre-theatre treat.
Service was a little slow with a minor mix up & consequent delay with our dessert order but apologies were made instantly.
The prices were very reasonable in my opinion & again particularly the children's menu which was excellent value for money.
Would certainly visit again when we visit London.
One of my favourite restaurants of all time!!
Food, service, atmosphere, everything was 10/10, couldn't fault anything!
Went there recently for a birthday meal/date and it was perfect! Food was phenomenal, full of flavour, fresh and hot.
The staff are so friendly, never had such good customer service in a restaurant. When they bought over my girlfriend's dessert, they put sparklers in there despite it not being requested and they sung happy birthday to her. This made her day and she was very happy with the meal and dining experience overall.
Our server's name was Dennis, and we did have him when we dined here the first time. His service is excellent, the most polite, smiley man I have had serve me at a restaurant. So if you are served by him then consider yourself extra lucky!
Love this place and I will happily go back there again and again. I most definitely recommend it!
Covent Gardens little secret.
Amazing Food, Service and boozey drink from this cozy American restaurant that also serves a wide range of Gluten Free options.
Starters: Grilled Halloumi with pomegranate seeds
Mains: GF New Yorker burger.
Excellent allergy advice provided also
Service was fast, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Tried it on a whim, and was glad I did
The space is very pleasant, with vintage decor that transports you to the United States of America. Good musical choices, fantastic food and superb drinks.
My family and I had a lovely meal at Maxwell's. The booking was efficient, we were seated quickly and treated with smiles from all the staff. The food was delicious but the star of the show was the cocktails. We also enjoyed the 90s vibe music that was playing. We thought it was quite clever that the bill broke down the price per person for those who were splitting. All in all a great experience.
Excellent meal last night. Prawns for starters, well cooked. A tasty New York burger for main. Staff were welcoming on arrival, accommodating our request to sit upstairs. The waitress polite and friendly. Food arrived in a timely manner. Will revisit.
Having a day out in London with the kids.
Saw this place online and wanted to take them in for a milkshake.
We didn't eat here as we had street food in Covent Gardens, but the kids loved their shakes.
We decided against the freak shakes as they looked a bit too big for the kids to have one each and of course they didn't want to share, so they got a normal shake which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Loved this place! Service was excellent; attentive and friendly.
Nice variety of cocktails. Great tasting, freshly cooked food, and plenty of it. Eat outside, if you'd prefer.
Great location for pre evening theatre.
Would visit again and would highly recommend!
Decent food but pretty slow service. Very nice team though, quite young so might have just been that shift which wasn't very attentive. Nice management too. Pretty standard atmosphere. Good value for money considering it's covent garden.
Been wanting to try here since I saw it on tik tok and Instagram. Was on a solo trip to London so decided to book a table before seeing a show.
The service was fantastic and friendly. The food was incredible and tasty. I had the Mac and cheese and sweet potato fries and was glad I did!
My only issue was the heat! Saw someone saying about it online but it felt like the heating was on full blast!
