Review Jack's - London

Their service is incredible. I had a wonderful time with my friends. It is a fantastic birthday party for my friend. The bare tenders were super nice, and the music was jamming. I never actually got to try their food. But I've heard that they're really good. And I guess it just matters how many drinks you buy.

There’s a new underground section they’ve added to the right side where people can go in for free On Dollar bear days (Monday & Wednesday) . However if you wish to go upstairs from the underground section, you will have to pay 15-22$ depending on how crowded it is. There’s often more crowd on dollar bears than weekends. But lines are very long and it take around 45-60 min to enter. If you go through the front door and pay 5$, you may go to the top floor, ground floor and underground freely. The place does get very crowded and it is very hard to move around. Drinks are often spilled all over the floor.

Well the best Chicky wings in town. Thursday is eat in wing nite and price is right. Staff are sweet and great and my first time there was great. I will be checking out the other great deals soon. From the chicken wing queen Mary. M.

Not from London but we stopped by after seeing it on Narcity for cheap eats. Food was good for the price! Can't go wrong at $5.95 especially since the deal doesn't require a drink purchase.

Im doing this review to apologise to the staff cz; I dont smoke weed but the other day while drunk some one gave me some and It hit me very strong dont remember much and they kick me out security wasnt agressive and for that Im gratefull. Sorry guys.

Nice place to grab drinks but usually its not busy on weekdays but fun on weekends. If someone doesn’t like crowd, they can visit on weekdays

cheapest bar in London. Very good environment to enjoy with your friend with just 5 bucks. I mean it’s just kind of free bar! Isn’t because people like students and immigrants would definitely like to go and enjoy places like this where they can enjoy a lot within their budget. Also sounds and lightning are so attractive. Believe me you goona come again and again. On weekends it’s amazing to see how people enjoy whole night without any tension. So just go there and enjoy.

FOR NEW COMERS : This is by far the largest degen club in town. Party hard, get in a fight, get offered coke in the bathroom and 100% find people to after party with. FOR LONDONERS: the hell are doing looking up jacks reviews? Don't u know everyone's at Joe's?

So this place has been the first pub I've been to in Canada, since I have worked in such a place in India, I see nothing wrong with the place or the food or the drinks.<br/>The place would have a better vibe only if the dancefloor slightly bigger.

Probably the most poorly run bar I've ever been to. It was extremely dirty and clearly not maintained. They don't care about your experience in the slightest, only if they can get more money from you. The security were clueless and obviously not trained, the bar staff were absent minded, and the chefs seemed like the kind of people who would spit in your food if you looked at them wrong. Save yourself the dissapointment and don't go to this place.

"I should've seen the ratings before going there , I will say food was average and for service one word white supremacy man they will ignore you if you are foreign, the bartender wow she is such a pathological liar and egoist she will never listen to you and straight up lie in your face. <br/>Apparently if you socialize in their bar you are going to pay for them if they mysteriously disappear. <br/>They made me feel like I am piece of shit and doing me a favour for serving which I am going to pay. <br/>I will never go back to that hell hole again, if you really want to feel what canda is like I request you to not to go to this bar BC they are portraying the bad image of Canadian out there !

Great on Sundays and some stat holidays when everywhere in London is dead<br/>Cheap drinks most of the time also some good deals for food<br/>You will get in if youve been kicked out of other bars.<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>Food quality is often 0/5 if they're busy<br/>Occasionally you might wonder if some of the guests are of legal drinking age, at like 11 pm<br/>Multiple friends got in stupid fights in this place and ended up in hospital. Lost a wallet, well you're f***ed then. "You're f***ed: is the exact words I was told when I approached one of the waitresses to notify her that I have lost my wallet somewhere inside Jack's. I Figured the staff there will be a little more helpful than that, I know they can't really do much but thought at least they would like to know my name and address and such in case one of their staff members found it or if it was brought in by any others. This was a bit too difficult for them to do I guess.<br/><br/>I went out for a smoke to cool off ( I'm not a smoker either) and was denied re-entry due to not having my I.D with me, which was a pain in the ass but also understandable to me, luckily my wallet was eventually found (with all contents still in it) with no help from the staff, my friend ended up going back in there and somehow managed to find it.<br/><br/>That and only one pool table being open due to the other one not having all the balls were the only issues that night, bars didn't have crazy line ups at them and the dance floor was packed.<br/><br/>Jack's will make for a decent night just don't count on the staff to do anything besides hand you drinks.

Discriminative against individuals with neck/throat tattoos. Wasn't allowed access to this place last night due to the fact of both my apparel and appearance. which neither of these are stated online/website. was refused access due to throat tattoos, being labelled by security as a criminal and a racist due to how i looked. then being threatened by one when asked to leave property cause i was standing out front waiting for a message to be passed along to friends inside as i had flown in to celebrate a friends birthday. so their front door security on the night of "saturday, october 4th, 2014" were not only ignorant, discriminative but also uttering threats. as one shaved head middle aged security threatened me stating i wasn't to remove myself, stepping back a foot that i was going to get knocked out. real professional, as i had requested to speak with management afterwards and nothing was done both both the bar management and the london city police who had heard and witnessed all activities of that night during the difficulties of getting in.

This place the probably the worst pub in london . TOTALY RUDE STAFF specially the Security people.They treat people very rudely .Plus the place is a garbage.Highly advise to not go this place

Avoid.. If you're underage and looking to get into a bar, go here. Maybe. The bouncer's are pigs and the service is lousy. They have a dress code but it's pretty loose (if you're a girl). As long as you're not completely showing your breasts or any other parts you're free to get in. So if you're under the age of 21 and if you're looking to get groped, hit on and have a really crappy evening, go to Jack's. If you're looking for a place to start your night keep this at your last option and don't stay too long.

Rudest and MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE i have ever encountered. I am a 23 year old graduate student, went to Jacks for a girls night out for the first time tonight March 22, 2013. Waited in line and paid my 3$ cover with my girls at the main entrance, a girl took my cash and gave me change and a ticket, the other girl on the steps took the ticket. We went straight to the main floor coat check, while standing there a bouncer (tall white guy with brown hair) told us to go downstairs because there is another coat check with no lineup. We went downstairs and passed by a bouncer who was stamping people going up the stairs. I asked him where coat check was and he pointed to the right. We went and coatchecked our jackets and I went back to the bouncer to go upstairs and he refused us entry. He accused us of not paying and not passing by him. Although we did. He argued with me for 15 minutes when he knew damn well we passed by him. Then I asked him to radio the manager and he said "NO", what the hell kind of business is this, if a guest has a problem that you are unable to handle, then you are supposed to call the manager/ supervisor. I finally got one of the other bouncers to radio a supervisor, and then some guy who claims to be a supervisor tells us too bad, and that the bouncer would have seen us if we passed. If he wasn't looking then he wouldn't have seen us, it's really that simple. It is a dark noisy club, and lots of things are going on at the same time. Eventually after 15 minutes he finally let me and my friends go up. <br/><br/><br/>This was the worst and rudest experience I have ever encountered at a bar/ club. The cover was $3, do you really think a 23 year old working woman who is a grad student, would need to rob a club of $3. It was just the principal of the matter. In the line of business the customer is always right, and in this case we were right. Next time they should stamp us when we pay our cover, and let us keep the tickets as proof of purchase as opposed to collecting them. That way there would not be a need for an argument. Like why stamp the guests who pay downstairs, but not stamp the guests who pay upstairs? Common sense.<br/><br/>Completely ruined my night, I will never spend another dollar there. The rude bouncer was a tanned white guy, maybe spanish or arab or persian or something about 5"8-5"10 and wears Nike Frees and a hoodie under his red security shirt. <br/><br/>My party was over 8 people that night, and we paid cover, coat check and bought drinks... like it is just common sense to not treat your guests like that if you are operating a business. We also go to school in this area so could be recurrent customers. <br/><br/>In the line of business the customer is always right.

Underqualifyed staff, terrible serivce, it's like they have there job fairs at public school, the place is a pedo's dream and very offensive bar tenders that expect tips for serive that could be beat by infants. very loose and underdressed servers and insane bouncers. never will suggest the place. p.s, the washrooms smell like portapottys

AKA Yacks. Well I'm not sure were to start and I fear a rant should this commentary excede a certain length. Subpar pub fare combined with horrifyingly rude staff make this place an absolute no go for anysort of meal. However, that is not why the majority of patrons frequent it. On certain nights they have by far the best deals on drinks in town, and on these very nights plethora of students can be found packed in like sardines (and I dont mean to be rude but it smells like it). If cheap drinks are your main priority and you dont mind be herded around by the highschool-like bullies that they call bouncers, then by all means go there, enjoy yourself. But in my opinion there are far better bars in London with similar pricing that you can go to on any given night.

Rudest staff I've ever encountered in my life, and apparently the manager isn't around to take complaints which is very convienent for the staff.

Average downtown bar with lots of daily specials including dollar beer Wednesdays and .10 cent wings all day everyday served until 10pm, the wings are definatly a highlight and are some of the best in the city, jack's sauce is the best too! Also busy later on at night with lots of college an university girls :)
