Review Le Pain Quotidien - London

CPR
A large variety of dishes for brunch/ breakfast, very tasty most of them. That have the trendiest options. A bit expensive but it’s Chelsea+a French brand. The service was quick and very professional.

Very good food, nice seating, kind people but quite expensive. Food was very fresh and a lot of organic ingredient used

Nice casual place to have brunch. I always order the vegan bowl and matcha latte. Bread is great, muffins and all that, also nice salads. The porridge isn't worth it.

The food here is delicious - try the chicken and leek pie, scrambled eggs and French onion soup. Service is an absolute delight and the manager was very attentive. Highly recommended over Le Pain in South Ken.

We had a sweet corn soup and Apple crumb pie, both of which were tasty. Service was good, fast and friendly. It's a nice atmosphere to sit down, grab a bite and have a chat with friends, as the place isn't very noisy.

Second time dining here for brunch and once again I am blown away. Large bowls of creamy coffee and indulgent belgain hot chocolate, large, flakey pastries and soft breads accompanied by tart and refreshing fruit juices. The children's brunch was fantastic, a buttery croissant, perfectly boiled egg, Belgian hot chocolate (hot frothy milk that comes with a jug of delicious chocolate to drizzle into it), a glass of cold apple juice and a pot of granola parfait topped with strawberries, excellent value and the perfect size for little appetites. The interior is beautiful, and so warm. The staff are lovely and everything was brought out to us quickly.

I had a quick bite here. I've felt very happy and welcomed by the stuff, quick service with the place almost full. The vanilla custard tart is absolutely delicious with black coffee!!!

I love this cafe. They have the most interesting menu I've ever seen. Some of the desserts are stunningly beautiful and even better in taste. The place also has an unique atmosphere and appeal that separates it from the other boring coffee shops around.

They had a "vegan tofu salad" on the menu, which was surprising for a French themed place. Not sure I actually really enjoyed it - a bit too fusion for my tastes, and could have done with a more interesting dressing, but still, the bread was good at least. I also liked the little papery packets the butter came in, not the usual tacky foil things.

Lovely French/Belgian style café with very healthy menu. They have breakfast, brunch and all day toasts and tartines. All kind of milks and lovely Belgian style hot chocolate. Staff are generally nice and very kind and sweet

Excellent place. I understand when people say that the food isn't enough because it's not the usual fatty big plate standard. I ate a sourdough sandwich plate with beet root paste and a salad. Very nice but I did order a fruit crumble with cream because I was still hungry afterwards. I'm Dutch and have worked in Belgium a lot, but I really had to think what makes this place Belgian? No croque monsieur and no mussels. To me the sourdough bread is more German. Still an excellent place.

Çorbanın yanında gelen baget çok tazeydi. Tereyağı ile çok lezzetli. Chicken and leek pie da çok güzeldi. Ortam çok rahat ve keyifli.

One of the best places to have your evening tea/coffee after college! Located in a posh , area, amazing interiors with alot of natural light . Co-operative and courteous staff! All in all , a masterpiece. loved it!

Le Pain needs to start serving hot drinks in mugs or cups and not in bowls. It is the sole reason why I usually pick another spot over their cafés. Saying that, you know what you get, decent food and pastries in a welcoming environment. Feels a bit al fresco in this branch when they open up the windows.

cute French cafe, great food but fairly slow service. their hot chocolates seems amazing & their avocado toast is a long time favourite of mine!

Rudeness. All we had was two glasses of wine and took ages to come, ditto the bill (had to wave at them across the room) and they had the cheek to chase us to the door to ask (loudly) why we hadn't paid the 'optional' service.... Hmm

Good experience. My husband and I enjoyed dinner here on 17th March. The food was excellent and the service exceptional.

Great for Breakfast, Lunch, and Chocolate. I love Le Pain! I went there at least 5 times a week. If you are a chocolate lover, then you must try the brownie and the chocolate espresso tart. The brownie looks unimpressive, but it will change your life. Their mocha is fab as well. For lunch, I either get their soup of the day or the quiche lorain for take away. For breakfast, my friends and I always get the scone. Le Pain provides a causal, open atmosphere, and its a great place to chill and read a book or study.

Le Pain Quotidien. Take a break from your day..the best almond croissants in town and Wifi connected. The perfect place to meet friends.

...the food also isn’t too expensive and very tasty and service is quick, so this place is
a keeper. I know this turned out into a long post and I’m sorry, but I find it so hard to
contain my enthusiasm for this place (I’m so hooked my partner often uses this as
a bribe/incentive).

Try out the delicious and freshly made traditional Belgian tartines for lunch; I tried the vegetarian one which included roasted vegetables and mozzarella.

I love coming here for a lovely breakfast with friends. The setting is wonderful, very cozy environment with lovely rusitc wooden decor. The service is also great, they are very helpful, and I've never had to wait long for my food. And to top it all off, the food is great, I usually go for the scrambled eggs with prosciutto, and it's delicious. One of my favourite places to go for breakfast. However, for lunch I think there are much more impressive places in London, so wouldn't really recommend their lunch menu.

I really like this place! It has wifi and really big tables, which makes it the perfect place to go study! And they’ve got great food as well! My favorites are probably their filled baguettes and the tartines as a first course and then any of the pastries as a dessert. But i would definitely recommend ether the pain au chocolate or the baked scones. And for those of you foodies who are keen to eating as much organic food as you can, most of au pain quotidien’s products are organic!

Although I am french and should be proud of the products from my countries, I must say I was very disappointed by this chain. I went there twice, each time for lunch, and everything we ordered from salads to tartines ware tasteless and over-valued. I would not recommend it unless if you want to buy some bread at the shop - which is worth it.

Read more reviews here: http://trendyguide.wordpress.com/

Great cosy place on Kings road, usually full both during the week and especially on the weekend. Definitely try the specials, they are usually very good! Most of the times the fritata and the soup of the day are quite good. My favorite dish is the toasted warm tartine with vegetables. Great weekend hangout!
