Tanakaya Japanese Restaurant - London - Photo album

Tanakaya Japanese Restaurant is a cozy little spot in Covent Garden Market that left me thoroughly impressed. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find that they had a delicious option for me - the miso ramen with dumplings was simply fantastic! The lady serving us was incredibly accommodating and d
Got salmon skin roll, fire dragon roll, and white tuna roll. Larger proportion of rice than what I’m used to. Ultra crispy salmon skin and tempura shrimp fillings!!! I know lettuce in sushi seems a little unconventional but you barely taste it.
Ordered delivery & the packaging was so great. They even included a ramen spoon which I thought was great. The broth was delivered piping hot & I didn’t need to heat it up at all. I went with the pork bone broth and ordered a dream roll on the side. It was all so fresh and absolutely delicious. Also
We visited covent garden market and we saw this place, we only planned to have a quick bite since we will be having a buffet for dinner.. this place did not disappoint us.. we ordered takoyaki, volcano roll and black dragon roll i believe. All three taste delicious.. the place was cute..
A small Japanese restaurant inside the Covent Garden Market in downtown London. The restaurant's capacity is low but it offers a wide selection Japanese goodies including, ramen, tempura, bento box, fried rice, gyoza, katsu. These dishes are served with a variety of meats and seafood.
Few places serve vegetarian ramen and do a good job. I had a vegetarian gyoza ramen in spicy miso broth, with a marinated egg. The food was served pretty fast which is always impressive. It tasted really good too. The broth was warm and spicy - perfect on any day. The gyoza were plenty and very full
The tables were properly distanced and it was good to eat in! Enjoyed the spicy yakisoba and a Bento box! The tapioca in the bubble tea wasn't the greatest but the FOOD! Adding the $1 to make my yakisoba spicy is so good, I loved it!!
Straightforward Bento with lightly battered Katsu chicken. The pork broth ramen was very light in flavour, but that's what my husband wanted; he said BBQ pork had a good ratio of meat to fat and the egg was very flavourful like they infused soy sauce in it.
Amazing food. Worth the drive. Highly recommend ! The service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy. I will definitely be back.
Was here before one of the concerts at Budweiser Garden and it's going to be one of the few places who will serve you! We went by about 4 different restaurants prior. Service is excellent, food was fast and quality in keeping with pricing. Sashimi slices were of good sizes.
A gem, one of my favourite places to dine in London. Udon is fantastic and there are so many different combinations to try. Haven't been dissapointed yet!
Huge menu makes it hard to decide. However I've always ended up getting the Eel on Rice. Phenomenal! Quit spot in the back corner of the market makes it a great place to enjoy your afternoon with great food and a bustling outside atmosphere. 🌟
I have gone to this Japanese restaurant but for takeaway order. They have good pricing on their menu. I come here, if I am in the downtown. They have bubble tea and it is unique they have the coffee flavour. The Japanese curry with rice is good, but recommend if you dine-in as you take it out. The c
Snow and skating rink outside, and a delicious seafood ramen inside ... an excellent combination.
