We came in around 8:10 pm and were told they close at 9 pm, which was fine. We knew we could eat quickly. We ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and Ramen Chicken Noodles. They were passable. My teen daughter said: "This is not Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese or Thai food." She was correct. Although the food tasted okay, it felt like they dump sauces from a bottle onto it. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes.

Highly recommend going when they open! We went on Sunday at 12, it started picking up after we were done. I ordered the specialty pho and the soup tasted very flavourful and fresh, nice amount of beef to noodles. Nice portion size as well for a regular bowl! I was full and for $14 not bad!
Their rice dishes and vermicelli bowls are a bit more pricey than I believe other restaurants $17. I didn’t love how they made their chicken for the bbq rice dish tbh. It’s not bad just not great. Chicken is tender and great portion size but a bit on the oily side and not much taste of lemon grass (I forgot to take a picture).
Service was very nice! She was super patient with my family ordering which I appreciate and checked on us well. Thank you, I’d come again and recommend.

The environment was nice and quiet, the service was friendly and the pho were delicious. The coconut shrimp is super fantastic! However the curry noodles were not the taste I thought it would have been...but it’s not bad. Just order the stuff you’re sure you’ll love them :3 plus the ice cream is perfect!

Ordered online for takeout. Process was simple, menu well organized, easy payment. Arrived a few minutes early and the food was ready right on time. Was hot, fresh, and very tasty. Had the red spicy curry with Thai jasmine rice and the chicken satay skewers with extra peanut sauce. The food was delicious, with large size portions, and properly priced. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve only been to the North location. my wife and I live to eat here. The Pho and Ramen are our “go to’s”. my wife and I both like the Laksa Ramen. 101 Pho for me, and my wife likes the 105 pho
Service here is great! We haven’t had bad service over the past 3 years of going here. Their suggestions for us are pretty spot on! I can’t say enough good things about their staff!
It’s a nice setting, great for that date night or family outing.
My only suggestion is try to sit as far away from the door as possible during winter time.

This is our go to place for Asian cuisine. We love the food, the service and the ambience. Ishwar has been great to us. Can always expect a friendly and quick service from him. Will come back always.

This place is one of my favourite ones, especially this new location. I love the modern Asian interior design. The restaurant is always clean. The staff is OK; they are not very attentive but they are always polite. Definitely, if you go there you have to be open and not shy to explore new flavours. Don't go only for the Pad Thai! A lot of their dishes on their menu are quite tasty but I have my favourite ones: chicken coconut soup, ginger chilli chicken soup, vermicelli rice with pork, spring rolls and thick noodles with beef. In term of beverages they prepare delicious bubble teas, yummy! I definitely recommend you to throw a visit to Ben Thanh, you will experienced a tasty flavour of Asia and spend a great lunch/dinner time.

I chose this place for my birthday and boy did I eat. Those wontons and that sauce, I can eat them nonstop. Also, a friend who never tried this place before loved it. Best birthday lunch ever. Quiet atmosphere and amazing food.

FYI - Ben Thanh North is now located at Sherwood Forest Mall on the North side near the Gainsborough entrance.
The new location has been open for three days, and they did not disappoint. The food was fresh, hot, and everything you would expect from this iconic London restaurant. Our server, Rob (also the owner), was attentive and friendly. Great experience! Thanks again to Rob and the rest of the team.

Pretty interior, great food and friendly service makes for our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. My Pho loving spouse gives this soup 5*. Excellent spring rolls as they should be - a touch of tumeric to give a golden exterior, slightly chewy and served with a classic Nuoc Cham. Nice pot of Jasmine tea accompanies a lovely meal. This place is hidden around the corner of this busy mall, north side facing Gainsborough.

We came to Ben Thanh on a whim, I am so glad we did! The food and service was amazing, completely traditional and the environment was soo warming. They bring the food in concession of ready, comes to the table Hot and placed with such care! I'm So excited about this new gem we have found!!
