Review Chuck's Roadhouse Bar And Grill - London

Rashmi Rawat
It was our first time trying Chuck’s in London. We had a good time and the price was good too for a 18oz beer. We ordered nachos, wings, rings and fingers and 4 beers. Everything tasted good. Service was nice. We were checked on a couple of times regarding the food which was nice. Definitely coming back again

Good place to chill or do pre-drink. Food and drinks are affordable which is a top notch! Ordered few bottle of wines for about $30-$40 each which is pretty good. The steak is not that good β€” 6.5/10, but would recommend their drinks!

Food was great. I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich which was excellent. Although on the other side of the table, there was a purchase of quesadillas which overall tasted average with a test I conducted after they were not finished. The sour cream on hand was not in fact sour cream, it had the consistency of Elmer’s Glue and was warm. Server was very nice πŸ‘πŸ»

We went just as it was starting to get busy for dinner. Our large group was 18 people and a friend had mistakenly tried to make a reservation in the wrong Chuck's. Still after just a few minutes, the waiter was able to get an area ready for our group and we were happy to all be together. The food took a long time but from what I saw, everyone got exactly what they ordered with the exception of one medium steak instead of a medium well steak. Not bad for 18 orders. The food was warm and it all came about the same time. Our waiter checked on us at least a couple times to see how everything was going. We all enjoyed the meal. I would say better than you could expect for the price. πŸ‘πŸ»

This location of Chucks in London has always been good. It's always nice to see familiar faces. Some of the staff have been there for a long time. We went over for dinner and didn't realize it was semifinals of World Juniors hockey. The place was packed, but still was able to get a seat right away. The server was great considering the number of tables she was working on and keeping up with all of them. The food was bang on. All of our plates came out the same time, and the food was hot and fresh. I've never been disappointed going to this location for dine in. I did however go back the next night for takeout, so I went to the bar was greeted in a mannerly time keep in mind that it's the world junior finals the place is busy server was able to get my order but the time for me to get my food was long, roughly about 50 mins. I definitely feel like the takeout times can be improved, but the dine in is amazing. Decided to go back to Chucks for a night out for the work guys and once again extremely busy. Was able to get a seat for the group size we had, but the waitress was definitely overwhelmed by the number of tables she had to serve that night as she kept mentioning it or making smart comments. For a night like this, especially when it's that busy, they might want to have an extra server working to help with workload on their employees. The food was good as usual, no complaints with that.

Food was piss poor (t-bone).. Not the waitress fault or even the cook. Just garbage meat and that's why it's cheap. Service was Extremely slow!! Had to find her a few times.. Maybe overworked?? We don't know. When she was around, she was great πŸ‘

Great food at a reasonable price! The steaks are the best!! Highly recommend the peppercorn and goat cheese New York! πŸ˜‹ but be specific on how you like them cooked! Highly recommend πŸ‘Œ

Definitely recommend. Business, group, family friendly. I've been here on a weekday to see two groups from different companies come in for lunch, and being well serviced by the waitresses on deck. I've also been here on a weekend. However, I do recommend calling in to make a reservation because weekends are packed. You may have to wait, but it's worth it. There are enough tv's if you want to come out and watch sporting events. The food is really well done. Everything on the menu is affordable from food to the drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Servings are portioned properly. The steak(s) even has a stick that marks the proper cook you requested. Everything was well-managed and timing on the delivery from a not busy setting to a very full busy setting had the exact time in and out of the kitchen. Will go again.

Stayed overnight nearby and went to Chucks as it was talking distance. Lucked into Rib night plus $5 wine because the Leafs were playing. Ribs were pretty good. A half rack for $10 was a very fair price. Enjoyed several glasses of wine because it was almost free:)

Update April 2023 They've recently raised their prices, the 7 oz sirloin is now 15 bucks, the chucks burger and fries is now 9 bucks. Still great value. Service at this location was great, fast and friendly, and all food was prepared well. Original Review Great food, friendly service and great value. Can't beat the Home made sirloin beef burger and fresh cut fries for 5 bucks. Only been for lunch a couple times so can't speak to the dinner service. Edit, as of January 2018 price of the sirloin burger and fries went up to 6 bucks. Still a great deal.

Nice place to go for cheap beer and snacks. We did order rib meals and waited over an hour for them to be delivered. Not the best food, but I have had worse. Fortunately the friendly bar staff, cheap drinks and atmosphere make up for the food quality..

Amazing service! They didn't have a chicken breast and we had to get a leg instead. The cooks actually gave us 2 legs to make up for it! Everything was great!

This was my first time at Chuck's. Steak dinner was delicious (had the New York steak). It was like a more casual version of the Keg - incl. without the high price - complete with their own version of the birthday dessert. Drinks were a good price. I probably would've traded the half cob of corn for a different veggie if given the chance. A tasty night out within a reasonable budget.

Much improved since my last visit earlier this year. The servers were on the ball, good food timely delivered. Excellent value
