Review Dem Hai Dang - London

We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now, glad we did! Authentic Vietnamese pho, it was delicious. Even their dining set up is authentic! Their pho broth is very rich, great portions and I can say it is the best pho I’ve had even comparing to places in Toronto! Must give this place a try if you are looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The owner was very friendly, we will definitely be coming back!

The B15 vermicelli was very good. The chicken was very tender and flavourful (their pork is very good too) and the spring roll was delicious. The noodles went very well with the fish sauce. The only thing I didn't like was the sugarcane shrimp, which was unlike any of those I've tried - it was less minced and not sweet. It tasted more like pork than shrimp. Would get again.

The best Vietnamese option in town by far. It's a family business with a decently varied menu and such rich flavourful broth. Everything we've tried here has been delicious and it's always a great meal. Even a great spot for a coffee after your meal. After trying this, you won't want to go back to the soulless other Vietnamese restaurant around the corner.

I decided to come here bc I was craving bun bo hue (bbh) and this place was recommended by a lot of people online for its bbh. I ordered a small bowl of bbh and my partner got a bowl of pho dac biet. The bbh was good but it doesn’t have same taste and smell of bbh, I was missing the lemongrass smell to it so I would say it was a simple beef broth with some added spice. For the pho, the first thing I want to say about it is that the beef came out a thinly sliced and pinkish which was perfect. Broth was pretty good too.

First time coming here and won't be the last. One of the best Pho I've had. The broth was soo good.

We visited the restaurant at 7pm Sunday night. It was busy night but still we could find a table for five without waiting. They have every Vietnamese dishes we expected and we ordered popular beef soup noodle, bbq pork spring roll rice noodle, hot french coffee and beans ice drink. The food quality is above standard. We ordered XL size for beef noodle and I cannot finish it alone. The coffee is tasty and concentrated with good aroma. The best of all is comfortable environment and good services. The price is relatively affordable compared with those restaurants in shopping mall. We are planning to visit again in short period. I recommend this restaurant. Good job.

Where to start…. First off, the pho is just absolutely delicious. The broth is my favourite part, it’s so flavourful and feels healing for you by the spoonful. The beef is always great in it too. Honestly it’s the best comfort food for a rainy day (especially). The coconut shake and mango shakes are super refreshing and fresh tasting, not too sweet and they’re dairy-free! I really recommend this place, I’ll come back here for pho every time. I’ve tried like 4 other restaurants for pho in London and here takes 1st place 🥇

Hi, I’m an Indian. I just visited Hai Dang today to try something new. I didn’t had any idea about what type of food they have and how will be the taste but the people who works there is so kind and nice they helped me to select the dish. After that they told me to wait for 10/15 mins. While I was waiting they offered me with a bottle of water. They didn’t even charged me anything. I was surprised with their customer service. And the food was ready within 5/6 mins. I came home and tried there food too. It was really delicious. I like it so much. I will highly recommend their restaurant. Thank you so much for the helping mind and positiveness.

Honestly when people say this is the best pho in the city I'll have to agree. I'm not particularly fond of pho but the dishes from this little hole in the wall are exceptionally flavorful! The only thing is that the portions are a little small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants but I'd say the bun bo hue and slushies are well worth the price. If you manage to find this place (it's quite out of the way) then definitely check it out!

More than anything, I felt somewhat cheated after my meal here... My father and I both ordered small pho, so I guess we should not complain; however, compared to the other meals we had had at Pho 99 and other similar stores, the size of this meal was equivalent to an XXS. It was tiny! Moreover, my order was supposed to include tendon and tripe. However, not only was there no tripe, but there was only one measly piece of tendon.

Discovered this place on the recommendation of my dad's hairdresser next door. Always the same guy working, very friendly. My uncle and I frequent here and the fella always remembers my uncle's nut allergy and love for spicy food.

I usually get a vermicelli bowl with pork and a spring roll, he's partial to the soup. I will be back again and again and again.

The best viet restaurant in London! Must try out number 28, 54 and 56. Those are the three must try pho with the best soup base.

Excellent pho... Have been to da Dang a few times and always have enjoyed the soup. Lots of beef, fresh tasting broth and the bring you all the fixins, a large is a whole meal.
The vermicelli bowls are the way to go as well, spring rolls are divine.
Stopped in a few weeks ago on the way back from hiking around fanshawe lake with the dog and just picked up some spring rolls and chatted with the chef and i think the owners, very friendly, they even put the chili sauce in the fish sauce for me, very cool... You get four smaller spring rolls instead of two larger ones most places serve, but these are id say second to Vietnam on Dundas. Worth a stop in if you are this far east and hungry for Vietnamese.

Best vietnamese food that I've found in London so far! Very small place, but the service is very friendly. Similar menu to Thuan Kieu but I personally think the food here has a better flavor. The grilled pork vermicelli is delicious and the rare beef soup is another favorite - the large portion is a full meal on it's own
