Dropped in on. Friday evening, pretty quiet but the food and service was great. Enjoyed spring tools, vegetarian chow mien and shrimp and almond dish. Took half home. Hard to find great Chinese, mostly just buffets which I hate. But now I think a found a go to place!

Great food, fast take-out service, and very friendly service. There is no dining in only take-out orders. Highly recommend.
Haven’t had Chinese food in sooo long! Had Tak Sun for the first time and it is amazing!
Mushroom fried rice, chicken chop suey and chicken balls. Could also have spare ribs or shrimp. Deliciousness.
Will repeat!
Next time full meals for more people.
Cant wait to try it all!
Great food and really friendly people! I love the Chicken Curry and my wife loves the Dim Sun. Food is always cooked fresh and fast and they call you back to tell you when the food is ready. One of the best Asian restaurants in London for sure.
Sunday Dim Sum was delicious. Nice portions. Keeping Dim Sum takeout hot is difficult but they called as soon as our order was ready so we got it home before it got cold.
Thank you for staying open during our trying times.
Spring roll, shumai, pork spare rib, shrimp ball are good!
Wish there was a 4.5 option. The dim sum is indeed fantastic. Very fresh and flavourful. A welcome surprise was how good the chicken balls are: light and fluffy and full of big pieces of chicken.
2 misses though: The first was the wonton soup. The wonton itself was good but the broth was bad, like really bad. It tasted like mild cabbage water. The second is a nitpick that the spare ribs had way to much breading to meat ratio.
Everything else was good to above average.
I'll definitely order from here again, but would advise to avoid those 2 dishes.
Love this place. Our go to takeout in neighbourhood. Good food, great service..
This is a family run Chinese restaurant in London. They have been in business for more than 40 years. They serve excellent home made Dim Sum, almost every day. I have taken several of my friends and they all liked it. The other food listed are also good. Their hot and sour soup in the best I have tasted.
Amazing food with great prices. Service is fast and the atmosphere is a little dated but always clean. The only reason why I dont give it a 5 star rating is because of the mom if you get her. She has no business being in customer service in my opinion. Don't let her scare you away or prevent you from going because the food is worth it and best case scenario you find the humor in her behaviour.

Got Tak Sun for the first time this morning. Everything was amazing, I will be back very soon for more. The dim sum plates are very filling, one per person was more than enough. All of the items were fresh, hot, and delicious.
I would like to call out the Tak sun dumpling with it's melt in your mouth pastry. It was so fresh I regretted sharing the other one. The butter coconut buns made a delightful dessert and I loved the texture.
Had to wait a bit for the food as they had just opened, but it was so worth it!
Simply the best truly traditional Chinese cuisine in London. I've been coming here almost 40 years and never been disappointed! I started bringing my kids when they were tiny and they still love it as adults. Always friendly, good service and consistently great food. Definitely not the usual Westernized Chinese food you find elsewhere!
My wife and I have been visiting this restaurant for almost forty years usually after work when we want a tasty, well-balanced meal and don’t have the energy to cook and do the clean-up. We don’t need a menu anymore because we’ve found that the “Traditional Chinese Dinner for Two” provides a wide variety of flavourful courses that are to our taste and priced reasonably. Tak Sun provides a modest, comfortable setting with adequate free parking close to the city core.
Hidden Chinese restaurant serving dimsum (currently takeout only). Friendly Cantonese greetings from the people who work there, which made experience comforting and authentic. Ordered Har gow, curry squid, ribs, turnip cake, and shrimp rice roll and got a call within 15 minutes to pickup. Everything was generally tasty. The outer skin on the Har gow was less desirable and more chewy than would have liked.
Had dim sum (#2) I was impressed! I walked into a gloomy, dark, backdoor of a building where the restaurant/takeout was located. First time there and I almost turned around and left it was so dark. I’m glad I took the chance! Friendly service also!
