Review Village Pantry Restaurant - London

This small restaurant in Lambeth is cozy, staff are friendly and efficient, food is delicious down-home cooking, with generous portions. We enjoyed our breakfast special which included 2 eggs, (ham, bacon or sausage) homefries and toast. Coffee is extra but the overall price was very reasonable! We will definitely return soon. :)

Not a bad spot. I think for the cost, this place is great. You can get a burger combo for the same price as what you'd pay at A&W, but actually get a real burger. Food was tasty and came out without a very long wait. It's a bit dated on the inside, which has a bit of a charm to it but at the same time also generally feels 'old'. Worth a try if you're looking for something good, affordable, with a bit of nostalgia.

We had breakfast here this morning. It was really good! The restaurant was quite busy but they were still on time and we had no issues with the service. Food was good as well! It’s a nice breakfast for a reasonable price. I got the two egg special with bacon. It comes with eggs, home fries and your choice of protein (I got 3 bacons but you can get sausage or ham instead I believe). Home fries are delicious btw! Overall good experience!

My family started coming to the Pantry for breakfast last fall, after years of driving by on our way through Lambeth. We'd been looking for a new breakfast place to make our spot, one that had good service, a friendly atmosphere, and where the food was like comforting home-cooking. We stopped in for breakfast and we have kept coming back consistently ever since. We've really enjoyed every visit. The food hits the spot while being consistent quality and prepared with care. All of the staff are friendly and kind, and we've never felt ignored or rushed. There's a reason many people are regulars at the Village Pantry; when the experience is warm and inviting, you want to come back.

Highly recommend the cream of broccoli and bacon soup. Also the chicken Parmesan was great. Didn’t like the burger much though.

This is one of the best restaurants going anywhere in any town. Their eggs benedict is legendary and the other breakfast they serve there are excellent as well. They are following covid guidelines and the restaurant is very clean. The bathrooms are clean as well. The ambience and the environment of the restaurant is very good. Staff there are polite and courteous and very helpful. The dinners are great there as well.

Stopped here for breakfast this morning and it was amazing! Great fast service and food was delicious! Huge portions. This picture is after I've already eaten half! I'm so full! I went back in to ask for a strange request. I asked if they could cut me up and orange cause I had a long drive back home and they did it for free! Such an amazing staff! Thank you so much! I'll definitely be back ❤🥰

Quaint resto on lambeth main st. Friendly staff, convenient parking, excellent breakfast, and wifi is available. Goto breakfast/ brunch spot. If you are passing through town and need a bite, stop in and enjoy.

It looks old inside and needs an upgrade. But in saying that it's very clean and the breakfasts always look fresh and it always tasty. And the prices are great too. Great place to eat.

Village Pantry is a very reputable diner in the heart of Lambeth. My club sandwich was spectacular and contained perfectly cooked bacon and tender turkey while our server was ultra attentive while also providing us adequate time to enjoy our meal. Overall, I look forward to returning and ordering their pulled pork sandwich.

Such a great local restaurant. We had a corned beef sandwich and mushroom soup. I totally recommend. Easy parking, great service.

Food was great, service was good. But the staff were just so unhappy. What is that?
