Review Bondi's Pizza - London

So far in my short time, about a year and half in London, this has been the best pizza place that i was able to find. Great sauce, great under crust and generous cheese!

Think of it as the Lincoln or Cadillac of Pizza. At its’ core, the same as the regular models, and you’re not 100% sure that it’s worth the additional money… yet somehow every little bit is just a little bit better. As a result you come the conclusion that you don’t regret the inflated price and would likely pay it again for the privilege. Definitely a premium level pie.

Tom and his crew make the best pizza in all of London! I've been a customer of Bondi's for over 35 years! Both the owners have made exceptional pizza's that have stood up to the test of time. Great quality at a reasonable price have made them my favorite pizza place. I love that Tom uses quality ingredients and not the overly processed toppings chain restaurants use. Baked or deep fried, when it comes to panzerotties they can't be beat. I won't go anywhere else for one. He has specials for walk-ins and a selection of multi pizza and wing deals. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for" and Bondi's is a perfect example of this. Tom takes pride in his craft and it certainly shows. From his home made pizza dough and fresh made tomato sauce to whatever toppings make up your favorite pie Bondi's is the place to go!

"The Aristocrat" pizza is the tastiest vegetarian style one in the city! Bondi's knows how to build a great pie. Take-out only however they do have picnic tables out front if eating on the go is your thing.

The flavours, ingredients, and craftsmanship of the pizza here is next level. Honestly shows that there’s a standard you expect from regular pizza joints and something special you find in the rare pizzeria like this one. Also maybe some of the nicest owners and staff you can hope to meet. I’ll definitely be coming back since the food is so good but I’ll feel great supporting this London business as well. Check em out, I’m sure they won’t disappoint.

The pizza is great, no question. The toppings are tasty, the gourmet pizzas are delicious and the crust is really good too. Only 4 stars however as it's quite expensive. The pizza isn't what you would call a good value, hence, due to the price, it's be expensive having this pizza all the time. Also, perhaps it was just ours, but the pizza had very little cheese on it.

Best pizza in London by far. Tonight I got the pizza abruzo and it is fantastic. The ingredients and the way they make their pizza is based out of true passion for making a quality product. Worth every penny.

I tried the Merlot Jack. It was pretty amazing. They didn't have any of the specialty crust but it's the best pizza I've had in a long time. I will definitely be back and hopefully try all their pizzas. The build your own sounds good too, lot of great ingredients to choose from. It's pickup or delivery only. With a very large picnic table out front you can eat at. Best pizza you will find...

Great pizza ! Owner takes pride in business and is hospitable The feta pizza is a great light pizza with lots of flavour and the crust is tasty and crispy cooked to perfection Will order again ! He offer me a free drink no charge much appreciated

We ordered the panzerotti’s tonight for our first time ordering from Bondi’s. The customer service over the phone was great, and the employee was very friendly. When we arrived to pick up the order, it was ready on time and had just come out of the oven. Again, all of the staff was so friendly and courteous, we would return just for how we were treated by the staff! Our meal was HUGE! We originally thought it was a bit pricey but once we saw the size, we found it reasonable (one could not even fit on a dinner plate, it could feed at least two people). The quality of the food was fantastic, and the dough is unlike any I have had before, and most importantly - the panzerotti was fully cooked all the way through and was jam packed with ingredients rather than a few inches of dough on either end which is hard to come by. We are so impressed with Bondi’s, we will definitely be back and have told all of our friends and family who are also eager to try now!!

Delicious pizza, nice people and the aroma coming from the kitchen made me drool.

Best pizza in London hands down! They say you get what you pay for and certainly true at Bondi's. Pizza from scratch the old school way! Delicious and worth every cent

I want to tell the world how great this little place is! It is the absolute favourite of my little boy, who is nine, and if there are two things he knows well, they are chicken fingers and pizza. We can't say enough how much we look forward to our Bondi's nights together. The food is consistent, the ingredients are fresh, and the kitchen crew are terrific people. London's oldest pizzeria has put their years of experience to good use!

This pizza place is incredible! Around for many many many decades and no wonder why. The pizza is unique and delicious. Our fav is the Abruzzo. Delicious! Tom and staff are always smiling, efficient and get it right. We love it there and appreciate their service and care! A must to try if you haven’t already.

I have always been a traditional born Canadian ordering pepperoni, bacon & mushrooms (the Classic) every time, as this has been my go-to pizza for many years. For the first time yesterday, I decided to try the Pizza Calabria...OMG it is absolutely delectable - a must try! I love Bondi's pizza! The crust is great, and the toppings are excellent. I love bruschetta and broccoli on my pizza with extra extra seasoning. It's great that they offer vegan options! The owners are very nice as well.

If your looking for fast food typical pizza go to the usual chain pizza places - if you want pizza that is awesome and full of toppings they don't have then this is the place. I recommend the Aristocrat with chicken but the true deep dish and others are also all good. You have a pizza place in London that has won many awards at international pizza competitions and you probably didn't know it. Go here and get some its worth it.

It was a first time trying Bondi's Pizza, best vegan pizza I have tried! The crust was great and the topping were fresh, and they use diaya vegan cheese. Normally I don't even like vegan cheese, but it tasted just like the real thing. Only downside, they wouldn't deliver to me because I was "too far" 13 minutes away. Also it is quite expensive, but worth it for gourmet pizza.

Had Bondi's a long time ago when they were on Wharncliffe. Was okay as far as I remembered. I moved back to the area and found they were now on Springbank but still in business. Ordered the small family pack for pick up, just a small pizza with 3 toppings & garlic cheese bread. The building itself is nice, sort of vintage type, open view of the preparation area, staff were nice enough. Just not a sit down place, though there are a couple tables outside I believe. The food: garlic cheese bread is good, good amount of cheese and good bread, compared to other places. The pizza was very good, dough not too thick, good amount of toppings, toppings were good (pineapple & tomatoes seemed fresh, not canned). Would definitely order again. The only 2 problems were price & time. I called thinking it would be about 15 minutes, which is what Domino's is when I order, and I was already out so by the time I got home I could pick up on the way. But no - 40 minutes! For a small pizza and garlic bread - despite whether they were really busy at 6 pm on a Friday, never wait that long with the bigger pizza places. And not being a large chain pizza place, I assume that's why prices are also higher. So if you want to splurge a bit, not in a rush, and get a better tasting pizza, try here. Otherwise hard to compete with big chain ones when in a hurry and want to get a lot for cheaper.

The Big Chicken! Need I say more. The best pie I have ever had. So good. The service is fast and friendly. There are so many options. Im not sure if I will ever plan ahead to try any of there 24hr pizzas but woild love to. Good eats!

My wife and I crave this place. They used to be just around the corner so we had it often, they moved to Springbank, so still close. We love the thin crust, good amount of toppings, and the peppers they put on top of the pizza. Owner and staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Do your self a favor and get some Bondi's pizza.

I ordered pizza from a different place yesterday and it was the worst pizza ever. You guys do such a wonderful job. I miss my weekly Calabria treat. I'll be checking your website for updates and really hoping you'll be up and running this week. You guys are the best!

Not good. So cold and hard we first thought we were pranked. Ended up tossing both pizzas and ordering from another place on Wharcliffe.

I've been searching for vegan pizza for a while now (and I'm not talking about store bought, put in your own oven pizza). So I was really happy to come across Bondi's when I saw their sign with daiya cheese now being available. So I went in and asked about the dough and such, and I was glad to hear that I could have a vegan pizza. I had the herb and garlic dough with daiya cheese, then grilled portobello mushrooms, green peppers, roasted garlic and vegan pepperoni. By the time I got back to my place to eat it, it wasn't hot anymore, but that didn't change anything. I was so happy it actually tasted good. There was the perfect amount of dough (some places use a lot and I don't like half my pizza being dough). The sauce was phenomenal. My favourite part was the grilled portobello mushrooms, for sure. It did not disappoint. It was priced higher than I would have liked, but it's definitely gourmet pizza, so it makes the price bearable. Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend to people.

Awesome pizza. I have had bondi's pizza several times, I think its a great quality pizza, The best in London. The staff go above and beyond to ensure great customer service and a great tasting pie. I have never been disappointed with the service or food quality. Keep the good work up !!!!

I called to order a panzerotti and the lady that answered the phone was somewhat unfriendly and rude. her tone of voice wasnt appreciated which is unfortunate because i refuse to be a paying customer somewhere that doesnt appreciate it. to make matters worse, she ended up being the manager of the store. honestly if i was the store owner and heard her talk to a customer in the manner she did i would have her appropriately disciplined. thank you for everything bondi's but i will no longer be ordering from you.

Yummm. Got a Big Chicken pizza, it was amazing. All the toppings were very fresh and good quality. The crust was a nice thin crust. Would recommend to all people of London, since your urbanspoon recommendations so far have not been good.<br/>Love, a new Londoner.

LOVE Bondi's and now with vegan options!. I heard that Bondi's was not only offering vegetarian pepperoni but also recently began offering vegan cheese (daiya - the best stuff there is!). I ordered a vegan pizza and my partner ordered a vegetarian pizza (with non-vegan cheese). We were both really impressed. Bondi's pizza is absolutely fantastic. The crust, the sauce, the pizzas are by far the best we've ever had anywhere, not just in London. I am so thrilled to have this new pizza place and the fact they offer vegan items now will keep us coming back as loyal customers. If you haven't tried Bondi's, do yourself a favour and order tonight! Worth every penny and nothing compares!

It's a Winner. We've been loyal followers of this amazing pizza place for many years now. Their customer service is OUTSTANDING, always smiling and pleasant, always willing to go the extra mile. The pizza is definitely worth the $$$. It's always done to perfection and it's so yummy. They have a lot of great topping choices and recently added gluten free dough. The best pizza in town!!

Tasty and Kids left me with none. Bondis is the best of the best - even for the little ones - late home for dinner and thought I would enjoy another one all to myself but this time the kids were still up and polished it off before I got changed out of my work clothes - they are picky eaters and pizza is not one of their fovourites, who knew Bondis would turn them into pizza conosures. Thanks to the great service I was able to pick up my own in no time. Now I can't be late for pizza night and the kids get there own too !<br/>Thanks Bondis

Didn't live up to the hype. was okay but not worth 40 dollars for a large pizza and a panzerotti. Also 50 minute wait for pizza is ridiculous. Called they said it would be 25 minutes got their with five minutes left on the 25 and said I had another 25 or so.

Not impressed :(. Various friends told me how great this pizza place was and how it was better than Tony's. I found Tony's to be over priced so I was looking forward to a comparision. Today I made a first time purchase (in house order to take out) and when I brought it home for myself and my two teenage children) we were all left comparing it and not happy at all. Tony's may cost more but is worth it. My teenage children complained, not only did it lack in flavor, they only order cheese and there was only a tiny amount. I order double pineapple and the local place that is less than half the price gives me much more (cheese) and toppings than Bondi's in general. Ideally I went into my purchase tonight looking for a new place to get great pizza at a good price but I am reminded that sometimes, value costs more, and is worth paying for. I do not recommend Bondi's to anyone.

Have ordered around 7-10 times last three have been undercooked and a little disappointing. Haven't been back. At one time was the best pizza in London.

Decent enough. Pizza crust was crisp, thin, and everything you'd want a crust to be. Ordered the "Aristocrat", which was all veggie (with interesting veg toppings). The pizza looked amazing, but it really didn't deliver on the flavour, like I hoped. I feel that the sauce was a little on the bland side. I appreciate that Bondi's offers a good variety of atypical topping choices, but I felt that it fell a little short on flavour. I probably won't go back to Bondi's.

The only vegan-friendly pizza joint in London. If you're vegan, you'll be happy to know that you can request soy cheese when ordering your pizza from Bondi's -- it's the best faux-cheese I've had, I had to call them to make sure they got my order right! Great for those nights when you're low on groceries or just want a break from cooking. Pick up is only $10 + 1.50 a topping for a large, can't beat it :)

This neighbourhood independent pizza joint never, ever disappoints. Awesome food, personal service. Do yourself a favour and try it

Best pizza my wife and I have ever eaten. If we are looking for a delicious quick dinner we call for a pizza. We also love introducing our friends to the best pizza in town!
