The Tea Lounge is one of my favourite places in London and is probably this city’s best kept secret. With its excellent service, delicious plant-based offerings and wonderful experience, I always love coming here.
As someone who was born and raised in ‘the other London’, I hold afternoon tea pretty near and dear to my heart and have pretty high standards, but The Tea Lounge exceeds my expectations time and time again. Some may consider it a little pricey, but THIS is a true afternoon tea experience (minus the champagne 😉), and is worth every penny.

I recently visited The Tea Lounge for my birthday lunch, as I had been wanting to do just that for so long.
I was NOT disappointed.
The energy and whimsy of The Tea Lounge is reason enough to visit, but Alex made my experience worthy of repeating again and again.
From her fabulous greeting, to her sharing the story of my amazing Mayan Hot Chocolate 'mug/bowl', to the delicious Grilled Veg Pesto Panini and incredible interaction at 'check out', I simply cannot say enough good things about The Tea Lounge!
Michelle, I am sorry that I missed seeing you, but know that you have created an amazing gem in the city with this oasis of such incredibly awesome vibes <3
I will definitely be back again, this is the perfect place to take my love, or the girls for lunch!

Came here with my wife for some afternoon tea. Unfortunately, they didn't have any Darjeeling, which I thought was odd, but I asked them for an alternative. The astute server offered me a Nepalese alternative, which was really great. My wife got a latte which was also good. And their scones were amazing! I highly recommend people to check this place out!

Every time I’ve been to The Tea Lounge has been a great experience! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and there are lots of plant based drink and snack options to choose from for those with dietary restrictions. The owner is a tea sommelier and will happily recommend you any of her 50+ types of tea to try based on what you’re looking for in a tea. The high tea experience is a favourite of mine, the food is so delicious and very well presented!

My niece and I had a fantastic experience and what a memorable experience. The listing of teas are very extensive and comprehensive, beautiful tea services and wonderful ambience. The furniture and finishes are beautiful. The staff and owner are incredibly lovely, personable, professional and knowledgeable.

Moved to London about a month ago and got a gift certificate for this place. Very cozy layout (coming from an able-bodied person). Seemed like a very community oriented/involved store. Workers welcomed me instantly and gave me a list of all the loose leaf teas. Owner/manager was extremely knowledgeable. Will be coming back :)

As a surprise for my sister's 70th I booked 4 of us for afternoon tea. Our waitress Katherine was lovely and knowledgeable and we all had such a great time! Highly recommend this spot for a special occasion and an anytime break in lovely surroundings.

My mom and I just got back from the “mini afternoon tea for two” service and WOW. This was our first time here and definitely will not be the last! Everything was exceptional, from the service, to the tea selection and tea itself, to the incredible WFPB food/desserts and the ambiance. We had an amazing dream tea service here for two on a nice Saturday afternoon. Knowledgeable and incredibly friendly staff. Beautiful china, yummy fresh scones and jam plus two delicious pots of tea. Will definitely come back for their mini afternoon tea service!

Great place to have your tea (or coffee). There're many options for both. It's very quiet with nice music that makes you appreciate the moment. The people who work there are very polite and know almost everything about tea! Very welcome and warm environment, totally recommend it!!

Absolutely lovely place! Peaceful and a nice place for a relaxing tea break. I had delicious Earl Grey Lavender tea in a “contemporary tea service” which was very nice. I enjoyed sitting on the deck; but the inside is a meditative ambiance and would be nice to enjoy in poor weather. The service was so very kind and sincere from the two women working when I visited. A great experience!

Oh how do I start a review of this amazing place. I wish I came here sooner!! This is the best place to bring friends to have some of the best tea! The owner and the staff of this shop is very friendly and knowledgeable about teas, this tea place made me from a puerh hater to a puerh enthusiast! I have nothing bad to say about this place. Bring some buddies to have the best experience.

I love the Tea Lounge! The atmosphere is calm, peaceful and yet professional. Such a great place to sit down with a tea & one of their delicious scones (regular or gluten free), to do some school work or to read a book. Everyone is very polite and the tea is beyond delicious! They offer over 100 kinds of tea and Michelle and her staff are truly knowledgeable and always able to help you decide on the best tea and service for you.
