I went to the Blake Bistro on my mini holiday to London, Ontario. Located just off the main path of downtown London it is a gem of a restaurant. The food was delicious and the waitress was attentive. On par with some of the better restaurants I've been too, they are a good price for great food.

Stayed at the hotel that night, this is the restaurant at the hotel. Very glad they could accommodate our large group without a reservation, much appreciated! Servers were very friendly and attentive, we were told one chef wasn't in that night so it made food prep slow but under the circumstances, it was fine.

Blake's has a limited menu but there is a good variety to choose from. We tried the Pad Thai, Vegetable Tikka Masala and Caesar Salad. Prices are very reasonable for a hotel location. Service was very good.

Great breakfast this past week at this fine establishment. At $18 including coffee, the breakfast buffet is a great value, especially given current prices. Our server Kathleen was awesome too, super friendly and efficient. She even got my daughter and I coffees to go with a lovely note on each cup. Thanks!

I visit this place once a month and am always soothed by its ambience. The menu card is diverse. The food is naturally of good quality and tastes fresh. The servers are always very keen (and proactive) to accommodate your food preferences (I am somehow often taken care of by a very kind yet professional lady named Jagoda). I have always been satisfied by my experience here, and would continue visiting Blake's bistro.

Server was absolutely amazing. It wasn’t busy by any means but she was very witty and got my girlfriend to eat her vegetables which she was going to leave on her plate lol! We all laughed which made our night a little bit better. Food was ok but I wasn’t expecting a lot from a hotel bar. Still a great experience all around and would recommend if you need a quick bite after getting to the hotel.

Had a lovely breakfast with three generations of diners! Staff were courteous and friendly, and despite being seated out of the way (a member of our party required specific seating arrangements), service was excellent.

Food and service was great! A traditional caesar salad with a homemade recipe that is really good. Steak that is comparable to the KEG. And the staff are really friendly and nice. Highly recommend. It was an unexpected treat. Oh, and this might be my second review I have ever written...

FAR superseded my expectations. Like finding a world class gem; easily the best lamb I’ve ever tasted. We called the chef out just to rave about it. Everything was presented brilliantly. Excellent value, crazy good quality. Wanted to specifically mention our attentive server, Hannah. She was exceptional.

I come here for the All-You-Can-Eat style Roast Beef lunch here all the time, and it's just really nice. First off, the place is very nicely maintained with clean tables and chairs. The atmosphere is quiet, and elegant which befits the style of the hotel it's in. Getting to the food, obviously the roast beef is the highlight. They make it so tender and juicy, it's unbelievable. But unfortunately, that's where it all ends. They have extremely small options there. Maybe few salad portions, snacks, desserts are all. It's a shame because the staff are kind, courteous, and professional and it's the kind of place you'd come back to multiple times, but the lack of available food may be a little turn-off for some. However, for occasional lunch with friends or family, it's a decent place.

I had the pad Thai which was very good. My favorite part about my experience was the bartender Rebecca. She was very friendly, referred to me always by name and even offered up other dinner suggestions for my stay. Not often can you say a bartender left a lasting impression on you, this time she did.

Truly elegant yet startlingly affordable, Blake's Bistro in London, Ontario, presented a decadent dining experience that more than earned a five-star rating. Flaws were absent from start to finish! We were seated quickly and served excellently by an attentive waitress. The atmosphere was classy yet comfortable. I had the salmon entree; a symphony of flavors that put me in a state of disbelief. Cooked perfectly, and topped with a sweet, savory, buttery amalgam, the dish was replete with the most delicious of vegetables on a bed of basmati rice. There were cherry tomatoes in stages of yellow, red and purple, each with a unique, delectable presence. There were carrots of yellow, orange and purple persuasions. The asparagus was mouth-watering and the broccolini magnificent. It was perhaps the best salmon entree I've ever had. We started with the pot stickers appetizer, which far surpassed any reasonable expectation. A delightful, tangy sauce and a soiree of tiny potatoes (with other mystery ingredients) made this appetizer as pleasing as a roaring fire on a frigid winter's night. This six-piece is just enough for two if you're both getting an entree. My dining companion had the BBQ chicken wrap, and described it as delicious with just the right amount of a ranchy sauce and accented with tasty bacon. We did not order dessert, but still our waitress brought 4 small sticks of chocolate filled with a positively divine, creamy mint filling. What a way to end this meal! 10/10, would recommend.
