Review Quynh Nhi - London

Amazing Vietnamese food. The Pad Thai and fresh spring rolls are amazing. But you can't beat the Pho or as its listes on the menu beef soup. Thw waitress told me the pho was gluten free because of the rice noodles. Absolutely delicious. Will go back again. Its a 4 star because the decor could be a little nicer.

My family and I have been ordering from Quynh Nhi for over 15 years and can say we have enjoyed it every time. Would recommend to anyone looking for some delicious, local Vietnamese food.

What a hidden gem. The food was very good, and the service was nice and friendly. Best of all, the place was SPOTLESS. I will 100% be returning.

Excellent food; had the mango shrimp salad and a handful of other dishes and loved all of them

We had ordered the fresh Shrimp Roll, Beef and Beef Balls Soup and Spicy Beef Pad Thai... all were very tasty and fresh. Authentic taste and a nice casual ambience. Really enjoyed eating here. My wife finished her Pho ☺️ and still ordered a second helping of the Fresh Shrimp Roll. If it’s always this fresh... we’ll be regulars for sure!

4.5* First Viet place I've been to where there is only one size for the Pho. The taste is decent

I can’t say enough how much I’ve missed this place. I’ve been going for almost 20 years I think, but moving out of town has hampered my visits! I started off with the fresh shrimp spring roll and then I got my old standby…. #416 Spicy beef noodle soup extra spicy 🌶️! The owner hasn’t changed a bit and greeted me like an old friend. I guarantee it won’t be long before we return!

Great if you're sick!!! I got the spicy beef noodle pho and it really helped. Very tasty, perfect amount of spice and good portions. :) Keep up the great work!

This is a small cozy restaurant. We ordered Chicken Pho (soup). It was delicious and reminded me of my friend's mother's soup. She was Cambodian. We also order their Wraps with peanut sauce which was great! A definite place to stop for a nice hot dinner. Saturday: We just ate there again. My Sister and I ordered dinner for two. Chicken rolls(2), Sweet and sour shrimp soup for (2), and chicken hot pot with stir-fried vegs. It was the first time my Sister had sweet and sour soup. We both remarked on how well it was to clear our sinuses. The total was 58 dollars and some change. Well worth the drive from Windsor to London!

One of my favorite london places to eat. Comforting to say the least. We have been regularly eating there for decades. The Pad Thai is so good, this is the only place I order it.

Had pho as it was -3 with windchill of -10. Needed something soupy and hot

Taste wise was alright but we find the soup was a wee oily, still alright. Quite little beef slices though. Maybe we were expecting quite big portion of meat as well, not just the noodle

Quite slow service considering it was pho, nothing needed to be cooked (like fried rice or fried rice noodle)

Would still recommend the place

Very near western university

I love this place! Every time I'm in London I make sure to schedule in at least one meal at this place. The pad Thai is my favourite but I don't think I've ever been there and had someone dissatisfied with their meal! Service is generally fine.

This is my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in London. The best pho soup I've EVER had - so flavourful! The family who owns the restaurant is very nice and the service is always good. I'm always down for pho, and this is my go-to place.

The BEST pho noodles! I eat in and get take-out here all the time. My favourite is #405, the spicy pho. It's absolutely delicious! I also love the spring rolls and the pad thai. Great family restaurant.

When I moved to London, I was immediately on the hunt for the best pho in the city. Not only did I find it here, but it turned out to be one of the best bowls of pho I've ever had (and I've had a lot of pho, haha). I love the beef rice noodle and the spicy beef noodle. The pad thai and vermicelli options are also fantastic.

I've tried every Vietnamese restaurant in London, and this one is hands down the best. I dine-in or get take-out here at least once a week. It's a family restaurant, owned by a Vietnamese family, and they are the sweetest people! The service is always quick as well.

Also - don't forget to try the Vietnamese drip coffee!

Food is fantastic, but portions are a little small for the price. We will still order because its great - but be warned its less than other Vietnamese places serve.

Closed on Sundays, we were lucky to catch this place open. The dinner service was almost full but we managed to get a table. Service was friendly and wait time was just okay—not quite the fast food, but not too bad.

We got all sorts of Pho and Grandma had her favourite Shrimp Fried Rice.
The girls shared Seafood Pho with shrimp, squid, fishball and crab. While Hubby had the Spicy beef noodle.

I got the Sate Beef Noodle soup, one of the spiciest soups I've had in a long time. It was burn-your-tongue good.

The seafood for the girls and beef for hubby and me were quite substantial. The noodles could be better. The broth was delicious.

Best Pad Thai in town! They make everything from scratch and with real ingredients..highly recommend! We order all the time and always bring people in to share the goodness. Polite and friendly staff. Great family atmosphere.

I'm not sure Quynh Nhi has the best spring rolls in town (as they claim) -- the rolls are great, but I prefer the Ben Thanh style (big 'n' greasy).

But the Pad Thai (especially the seafood version) is to die for. The tom yum is amazing (if you have a cold, this soup will kill it or, at the very least, leave your cold alone and just make you feel better).

Every noodle dish is remarkable for the lovely consistency of the noodles, and because the chefs have a deft touch with spices.

Enthusiastically recommended.

Got delivery and it was awful.. I ordered spring rolls, curry chicken, and rice noodle seafood soup. The spring rolls were probably the best thing about it and that's not saying much. The curry was also.... OK. But the soup was awful and borderline gross, and it's not because I am picky, I like pretty much everything. But for the price I paid ($39 total) it was not worth it at all. I wouldn't even pay half of that if I had seen the food first. I won't be eating there again, but I wish I had my money back.

FRESH Fresh Rolls!. There's something to be said for a restaurant that can deliver a spot on shrimp fresh roll.
It's something so simple but so many restaurants get it wrong.
Quynh Nhi is a Top 3 for Best Fresh Rolls in London... Hands down.

Fantastic food. Slightly hidden. Only learned about the place by word or mouth. It's a must try.

I love their pad Thai but the portion is half the size of most and cost $3 more. I like the staff and I like the food but please fill me up for $13. That's all I ask. I am writing this so the owner hopefully follows my advice........and enough with the cilantro! Nobody likes that crap. Just say'in.

BEST Vietnamese Restaurant EVER. Just found out about this site and wanted to let people know how terrific this place is. I have been eating there for ages and tell everyone I know to try it out. Everyone has reported back how pleased they were.
It is a "Mom and Pop" operation that includes the rest of the family as well.
Although it is does not have a sophisticated decor or location (try Tamarin for that), it is clean, there is always a free place to park and one always feels welcome...........AND, as the food is the most important thing, I can tell you it NEVER disappoints.
It is always extremely hot, fresh and delicious. The prices are reasonable, given the high quality of the food.
The casual and friendly environment makes one feel right at home.
As an added note, I did learn that Calgary has better food, lower taxes (I was aware of that) and, apparently, the restaurants all have Maitre D' s with tuxes!!! That refinement is certainly echoed in the accompanying pic.......

GREAT VIETNAMESE. As someone who has been going to this restaurant for many years I have to say that the food here is always excellent, the best vietnamese food in London, I have tried many others.
The family is truly wonderful and know a lot of their customers by name. The food is fresh, oh so tasty and the service is great and always with a smile. Duy the waiter is great!! as well as the rest of the staff. Tan the owner is a wonderful man who is proud of his business and works hard to make sure everything is right.
Its not a fancy restaurant, its a family run business that is successful for all the right reasons...love this place.

Worst Vietnamese Restaurant Ever. Went there today with my friend because of the reviews we saw on Urban Spoon. I am a huge fan of Vietnamese food, especially Pho, so I was quiet excited to try this place out even though it was a bit expensive. Coming into the restaurant, I found the decor to be tasteless and I found the restaurant to be extremely small and cramped. I put that aside telling myself to focus on the food as my friend and I waited to be seated. The cashier/waiter was attending to someone and it took him about 5 minutes to acknowledge us. He then proceeded to tell us to "sit wherever we wanted". Eventually, our menus arrived and I scanned the menu for my beloved Satay Beef Pho, only for them to not have any pho. The closest thing I could find was the Rice Noodle Satay Beef Soup for 11 dollars (which I thought was ridiculous considering that I would get the exact same thing in Calgary and WAY BETTER tasting for 7 dollars with only 5 percent tax). It took about 30 minutes for our food to come and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I was shocked at the exceptionally small portions. The "rice noodles" looked like they were taken out of an instant noodle bag and were not cooked properly. There was barely any beef in the soup and the soup was absolutely tasteless! The broth was tasteless, the noodles were tasteless and the beef was tasteless. It was as if they just boiled water, added in some instant noodles (without the soup mixture), added in one piece of beef and some "vegetables". They didn't even give us any bean sprout to have the soup with. My friend and I were extremely disappointed, and they had the audacity to charge 11 dollars for that piece of sh*t. Save your money and go to Thanh Kieu (it's cheaper, cleaner, way better service and TASTIER or go to Ben Thanh (it's okay)

Amazing food and great service!. My fiance and I eat here fairly regularly and are never disappointed with the food. We usually get the pad thai or lemon grass chicken. Good prices as well.

Friendly service with great food.. My family and I visited Quynh Nhi and were very happy we did. The service was prompt and very friendly. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious.

Very good. Best Vietnamese food we ever had in town, was a bit pricy, but it was worth it.

Yummy Chicken Pad Thai. This place definitely has the best pad thai I tasted in London. And it does delivery! However, I am not a fan of their pho. And I have to say their prices are generally on the higher side....

If you're craving pad thai, this is the place! But I would recommend pho elsewhere.

"Deluxe" Seafood Pad Thai. Almost every time I order takeout from a place like this I feel ripped off - because I have been. Then, some months go by, memory fades and I do it all over again. The flavour was okay, but I've had better. Much better. What I have the biggest problem with however is that for no small amount of money, you get a heap of noodles, a few beansprouts and 4 - that's right - FOUR small, dried out shrimp, along with 2 small pieces of squid, one so small it hardly qualifies as a "piece". The owner should be ashamed of himself. I feel I should call and complain but you know what? We just won't go or order from there again.

Simple, good food & well priced. First time recommend going with a regular. Very impressed with quality & taste.

Excellent Value. Wonderful freshly prepared food that is flavourful and delicious. The salad rolls are excellent, as are the vegetarian soups and pad thai. We eat here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed!

Loove this place! Great pad thai and spring rolls! They have lots of other options too but this rare my fav I order from there all the time, it's also pretty fast.

Excellent food, the spring rolls were great, the pad Thai was excellent. Service was a bit slow but I think they were busier they are use to. Great find !
