My wife and I wanted to try something different for lunch. Stopped by Lo Nuestro Latin restaurant on Hamilton rd in London. All I can say is wow. This is the most authentic Latin food you will ever find. All homemade and beyond delicious. 5 star.

Love the food here. Ordered today on a short lunch for p/u, orginally going to be 30 minutes but I would've had to cancel but they made it happen in 10 minutes.
Be patient for phone orders as they're getting quite busy and may not answer right away. Switched systems which was part of the issue, but resolved now.

The most incredible, authentic Mexican food I've ever had. Came here with a few friends with no expectations, and had a great time, got a bit of everything (including all tacos and most plates) on the menu and shared it around and loved it all. Pricing is very fair and service was pleasant. I will be coming back many more times!
EDIT: Since my review 3 years ago, I've gone back many times and have enjoyed a consistently excellent meal and service. Love to support them!

Wow the pupusas there are the best in town!! You can hear them being hand made in the kitchen. Very authentic and tasty. We also had the tacos and they were awesome too. The service was slow but I didn't mind knowing that the food was being made fresh...for me. Sometimes you just need to slow down and wait for some good food. We will definitely be back.

I am such a fan!! I just ordered from here for the 3rd time. And everytime it is so consistent the food is authentic and full of flavor! I cant get enough. I would strongly recommend for all of my friends and family to try this place it is so worth it and just simply delicious food 👏
I ordered the pupusas and chicken enchiladas. And I only ate half it is very filling but it reheats just fine in the oven. Looking forward to my leftover. Thank you so much Lo Nuestro!!!

I ordered from here on skip the dishes on a whim and both my husband and I really enjoyed it. The food was really tasty and everything arrived on time. We ordered some items we had never tried before and it was so tasty. Definitely try the pupusas. I will definitely make an effort to actually go check out the inside of this place!

First time here, came for my birthday lunch. Staff is very friendly and the flavours were simply amazing. Normally I love a lot of sauce on my food but this here needs no sauce, adding anything even sour cream would hide the amazing flavours. Highly recommend. Best chimichanga I ever had. First time trying beef tongue taco and I will order again, that corn tortilla was very good.

Amazing place!! Service is not super speedy, but it's a small business. The food was incredibly good. Pupusas are a MUST TRY!! I could eat a million of these. Staff very friendly. Excited about their food. Nice to see a restaurant with passion and eager to talk about it! If I lived in London, this place would be on my regular restaurant circulation.

The beans are amazing. I could eat them all day. And I hate beans.
The rice! So rich, perfectly prepared, taste is great. Feels like a centerpiece on its own, not like a forgotten side like so many other places.
Pupusas, Flautas, Tacos, Burritos... you can't go wrong, they're all fantastic. So much flavour, not overly spicy.
It can take a bit of time to prepare - small family type restaurant, after all.
I recommend Lo Nuestro to all my friends and not one has ever been disappointed.

This restaurant is the best place in London for reasonably priced authentic Latin food. This isn't a fancy place at all, but the food is great! A diamond in the rough. I will return.

I was personally treated like garbage here after I told the waiter (whom I think is the husband of the owner of the restaurant) that my order was wrong. After a bit of miscommunication, he berated me for a good ten minutes and told me I was the worst person for the misunderstanding (how dare I eat that food when I pointed out it was wrong and he said eat it anyway). I have never in my life had a worse experience at a restaurant, even thinking about this place makes me angry

Such Great Food!. My husband went here on his way home last week as I was craving mexican food. <br/>I am so happy he did! The food was fresh and delicious. We had the bean and cheese pupusas, <br/>the shrimp flautas and the chicken chimis. Even after the ride home all the dishes were still hot and crispy. <br/>It's nice to know that London has a great mexican restaurant as I was beginning to wonder.<br/>We will be back for sure!

Best around. If you want a taco this is the place to go. I no longer look forward to going to LA to eat at King Taco as this place is better. Can't believe there is a place in London this good!

Wonderful!. Small restaurant (seating for maybe 30 people total?) run by one woman with the help of her husband. For that reason don't expect the food to be fast (especially if it's busy). However, the food is wonderful, decent price, and even better, it's a small family business owned by wonderful and friendly people. If you want a place to go and relax, talk with friends, and have some great taco's, this is the place for you. The tacos, pupusas, fried plantains, and desert empanadas are amazing. I personally love the soup as well (only available on the weekend, it's made fresh, never frozen), but it might not be for everyone since the beef comes on the bone.

Latin food at it's finest!. Best authentic Latin food and atmosphere in London (maybe all of Ontario)! Made fresh, topped with cilantro, onion, tomato and your choice of sauces; the pastor, lengua, chirizo, pollo tacos are all delicious. Pupusa, plantains, enpanada, and soupa are amazing and made with the love and care of the couple who own the restaurant. I recommend treating yourself and a group of friends to a great dining experience, your belly will thank you!

Excellent. The food was amazing, service great. The place was spotless. I highly recommend if you want real latin food. My daughter can be picky but just loved everything we ordered. As with any first visit to a restaurant we each ordered a different item to sample accross the menu Papusa were fantastic, nachos hardy, tacos and quesidilla(which was as big as the oval plate served on) tasted awesome. We will definetly be returning.

You gotta love these restaurants! The best places are the least known. The staff was friendly and accomodating and the food was fantastic!! If you want pasty ground beef and sloppy cheese, go to taco bell. If you want authentic latin food that is full of flavour at a decent price, go to Lo Nuestro. The tacos were amazing!! The beef tongue was so tender and tasty. If beef tongue scares you, tell yourself it's sirloin. You'd be missing out if you turn your nose up at it.

Best we've had..... Their is no option for "Love It" so I clicked on Like it. This restaurant is like a good movie or new band you've discovered. I just can't tell enough people about it. The best pupusas I've ever had....I've been all over this city....Tacos are soooo delicious. (Authentic....not piled with sour cream and cheese...just spiced meat, tomatoes, onions and cilantro) do be careful if ordering the beef tacos as beef tongue is the one option. (i'm not a huge fan of Beef tongue) Fantastic Flautas. You could drive by this restaurant a hundred times and not see it. Now I see they have a website. Do yourself a favour and eat here!! 15 out of 10 stars!! Writing this is making me hungry.

Hidden Gem on Ham Rd. Fantastic, fresh food. She sources quite a bit locally, like beef from an abattoir in Mt. Brydges. Very authentic. Best pupusas ever. Perfect savoury filling, soft dough lightly fried offset by the tangy fresh coleslaw.
