Review Jack Astor's - London

Truly loved the vibe..ambience..food and the service! I love their fishbowls 🤩 and Nachos were great too! We also had the bruschetta which was so flavorful instead of just being tangy like some places and the bread 😋 Chocolate Malted Brownie was the best way to end this night ..it is just too delicious ❤️

It was my first time at this location and I had a great time. Staff was really friendly and accommodating, they made sure that my baby sister had her own high chair and crayons to keep her busy :) food was also great and not too expensive. Our server was very caring and we had a great time!

Really enjoyed our dinner out for my son's 7th Birthday. The food is consistently delicious and we had good service. They are very kid friendly with good menu options, lids on cups, crayons, etc. The North location has quite a few retro arcade machines like Pac-Man in the bar which are fun to play while you wait for your dinner. Our server even came to find us when our food was ready. We've got Uber Eats from here a number of times and the food is always amazing and nicely packaged. Their patio is nice in the Summer as well; tons of flowers, nice patio tables and well decorated which really elevates the experience.

We came in on a Saturday evening and it was quite crowded. The waitresses were very polite and attentive and we didn’t feel neglected. The food came at a reasonable time and it was quite delicious. I had the Mexican bowl and it was truly filling with tons of fresh ingredients. It reminded me of summer! My boyfriend had the Thai bowl and he enjoyed it very much. The Asiago Bowtie Pasta is also highly recommended. That’s one of my top dishes at Jack Astor’s! Never let’s me down. Overall, wonderful experience and food. No complaints here!

We love this place, and have been to this location many times. I like all the cocktails. It has a good ambience. The staff is friendly and has great customer service. In their Menu, very less options for vegan/ vegetarian. We ordered some appetizers, everything was delicious. Great place to hang out with friends.

We absolutely loved our experience at Jacks tonight. George was by far the best server Attentive, always around with refills, photographer, cookies for our girls. George, you deserve a gold medal for putting up with our crazy bunch tonight. Will definitely return. ¥London Fury Sharks 14U

First time for us to try this place. It was a very pleasant experience with lovely localized gazeboo and delicious foods. We do strongly recommend it for any families and groups of friends. Just one little point: the time duration between starting drink and main dishes was a bit long. Anyway, we enjoyed the food and I want to say thank you ladies👏👏👏🌺🌺🌺

I met a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time for lunch and we had the good fortune to have Hannah as our server. She somehow perfectly balanced giving us time & space to get caught up with always being there when something was needed. Truly impressive-thank you!

Everytime I’m at jack astors I get the Asiago bow tie it’s my literally my favourite!!

Jack Astor's is a 5-star restaurant with amazing food and great service. From their delicious burgers to their delicious chicken fingers, their menu has something for everyone. Their chicken fingers are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the sauce that they serve with them is out of this world. I highly recommend giving Jack Astor's a try, it will not disappoint!

John our server was wonderful. However very disappointed that you no longer have the beer and cheddar soup. My sister and I come her for the soup and chicken fingers all the time. Please bring it back.

Edited on Sept 4th: I appreciate that my concerns were addressed promptly by the general manager. I received a personalized communication about the issues experienced and I feel they were taken seriously. Thank you. ------ While server was good, knowledge of ingredients was lacking. One of my party was a vegan and few choices. How do you not have oil and vinegar for a salad? Finally was able to select one but when the salad arrived it was not only the wrong dressing but swimming in it.Fries were cold and chicken wings tasted like the ones you buy from the freezer and cook. The wait for food was also a little long.

Quite pricey looking at quantity and quality. food is good but lacks flavour; cosmos weren't so great. Not enough vegetarian options.

Must confess our daughter was a top rated waitress there and made a lot of money to put her through university. Back then it was a unique franchise restaurant. They have spent some money to renovate the interior and make it more open. They also seem to try to present better service and we saw an improvement.<br/>My partner ordered the roast avocado chicken with a Caesar salad side. The chicken was served on a generous bed of rice and vegetables. She found the items to be very tasty and finished off with a very chocolatty snores sundae. Service was excellent and meals were prompt and well prepared. <br/>I ordered the chicken parmigiana with a lot of bow tie pasta with a side of cheddar beer soup and topped it off with their hot cookie encasing a brownie. Would recommend the soup. <br/>No complaints on any aspect of the meal and accompanying service. We arrived here on a very busy Friday and waited only 5 minutes for a table. The rule here is to arrive before 5:30. Waits are longer after that time. Have seen the blogs on the meals being ordinary and that goes with most franchises that rarely have a signature item. I was happy with all aspects of this meal although a little disappointed that their were few sides included and all were extra cost. Prices are a little on the high side and most items on the menu are unimaginitive but that can be said for most of the franchise places. Too many other non franchise places to spend too much hard earned coin in the franchises. All in all not a bad meal.

Took daughter for birthday, food and service were okay, enjoyed getting her the cake and she liked the birthday song. Don't order the nachos if you actually want nachos, it is served as 8 - 12 pieces of warm flatbread with no tortilla chips in sight. If I go to a restaurant like that I would think it would be safe to expect nachos when i ordered nachos.

Was told there would be a 30 minute wait. 40 minutes later asked again only to be told there was going to be a 20 minute wait. I'm very disappointed.

Want to eat the most overpriced and underwhelming food around? Head to the 'new' Jack Astor's in Masonville. They are trying out a new menu where you can get a whole 6 nachos for the low price of $9!!! That's right... $1.50 per chip. Now that's a deal.<br/><br/>Not only that, you can et a $14 burger that doesn't come with any sides.<br/><br/>Jack astor's at it's finest. Way to lose a very regular customer.

Worst Location. I love Jack Astor's but I dislike this location. The one on Richmond Row and the one by White Oaks are great. This one though seems to be having some issues preparing good food. The food used to be great, but a few years back I've found all the meals that I've ordered to be over cooked, dry and unappetizing. If I'm at Masonville mall and I want Jack Astor's, I will drive to the one downtown instead of going to this one.

Absolutely love this place! The food is delicious and I've always recieved exceptional service. Staff is so friendly and helpful wit the menu.

Have never had problem with South location but this one is awful!!!!!!<br/>90 minutes for dinner to show up and easy freezing cold. Mgmt didn't care..<br/>Never will return to this locale..<br/>Ever!

Typical and not worth the money. The meal I had there was typical of a chain restaurant. My husband had a sweet potato fries with their Classic Burger. It was okay but nothing you can't make at home. I had the Asian Chicken Salad. The price was high for what you get. I think we will making our own burgers and salad at home in the future. However, we did enjoy the Lobster and Crab dip even though we were paying $13 for a small portion of mostly melted cheese and a bit of pita bread. We spent about $60 for a meal that was just plain and typical. I keep forgetting how boring and poor valued chain restaurants are.

Like it. I've always really liked it here - it can get a little pricey, but it's worth it.<br/>The service is good, someone is always around if you need something.

Ever been to a Jack Astor's, this one's probably a lot like that one. Elvis corner is a must for first timers, call a head to reserve, you won't be dissapointed.

A fun evening. My wife and I stopped in Friday night for some apps and a few pops. The food was great, they had a wide range of mixed drinks to choose from and the staff were fantastic.

Great Place for Family and Friends!. Jack Astor's in the masonville area is always a busy place to eat no matter what day it may be, although they are usually very quick in turning tables and have you seated in about 20-30 mins even on a busy Friday night. Call in advance to book a dinner reservation on the weekends because that's when they are the most busiest!<br/><br/>The restaurant itself is always very clean apart from the bar area where you can throw peanut shells on the floor (which is awsome! lol). There is also TV's everywhere so you can always catch the game or those late night sports highlights. Big booths for a more private dinning experience and many of tables as well.<br/><br/>Now on to the food. It kinda reminds me of an American roadhouse which steaks, burgers, etc but they also have many other choices including a pad Thai! Personally I haven't tried anything other than the burgers because they are so good. Can get a little on the pricey side depending on what you get but I think the burgers are the perfect bang for your buck. Great portions as well, I mean you'll never leave hungry. And the service is great as well, very attentive and always around to refill drinks, etc.

A great place to go with a young family. Our kids love the buzz of activity near the kitchen and the banks of TVs don't hurt either.
