Review India House - London

This place is located on wellington close to white oaks. One of the closest Indian cuisine options near white oaks. Food and service was good. Menu could be expanded. Starters and Veg options are less. Parking is limited, manageable unless peak times.

Loved this restaurant, super cute and cozy. All servers were attentive and sweet, food we super fresh and delicious. Must try the lamb beryani and the chicken masala

The food was great!! Chicken tikka, Butter chicken and paneer chilly were authentic Indian taste! Loved it! Will visit again when I'm back in town!

The best Indian food in London, my favourite restaurant so far. Great ambience, and good customer service; staff is friendly. In their Menu there are lots of option for veg and Non veg. I usually order Panner Bharta, which was amazing, taste is consistence. Many choices of breads and appetizers. There is longer wait to get food. It's good. If you are an old white guy who is looking for the milder Indian food then this is the place. Ask for zero spice. It will have a tiny kick but way less. This is the only place I can enjoy butter chicken. It's too hot everywhere else. They make their own naan too. This is a big issue in many Indian restaurants. You end up with some reheated store bought thing. You can order different kinds too. Nothing like fresh naan. I think this place should offer even less spice and advertise it's available mild to spicy. I think that would catch a huge market of people that don't like or can't eat spicy food.

March 22nd @6pm: Delicious food, perfect combination of spices. Customer service was good, they were super nice and humble but just a bit slow which I think with things coming back to life again will probably help them bring in more staff. Great job to both the servers who managed dine in with busy delivery orders and phone calls plus patiently answering the customer’s questions about the menu which I overheard and they handled it amazingly! Amazing ambience and beautiful decor.

Amazing food and friendly service! We have been eating here ever since we moved to London this summer. So far, we have only tried their butter chicken, masala chai, vegetable pakora, garlic naan and aloo gobi. The food is always well cooked, delicious and nicely presented. The server is nice and takes her time making sure you have everything you need. The place is clean and they follow Covid protocol. I have read people complain about how food takes time at this place. I suggest microwaving a frozen dinner at home if you want something quick (no offence) - great food takes time <3. Cheers!

I’ve ordered from India House three times on Uber Eats and each time the food is delicious! Tried their garlic naan, mutter paneer, paneer tikka and baingan bharta. Not only is the food affordable but also flavourful and never oily. One of the best indian take out places in London 10/10

The best Indian cuisine in London. I have tried many of their items n for few years now. They have very consistently maintained the quality and taste n serves the best. It's a different feeling I get about this restuarant. Very proud. The whole team makes ur feel home. Thank you and all the best.

Best Indian food available in London. Ask chef AJ for his speciality Goat Bhuna Masala and Mint Tandoori Roti which are not on the menu but available on request. Servers are polite and very helpful. Must visit. 😋😋😋

Best butter chicken in the city, hands down. I love that they can accomodate any spice level preference. I'm a wimp for spicy foods and there's loads on the menu for me, but trust me on the butter chicken! (Bring a sweater in the summer, the a/c is usually really strong.)

Last night I went out to dinner, we were a party of 12 and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and most of us really enjoyed our meals. I had the Lamb Pasanda and it was beautiful and tasty. There was no problem at all with the food. The service was a little bit uneven (I picked the right end of the table, as our end got served first). This might be something to work on, trying to ensure that everyone gets their meal at roughly the same time, but it was not a big deal as we were there to socialize as much as eat. What I did find, it was fairly obvious that many at our table didn't really understand what they were ordering. I helped the people in proximity to me but one of our party ordered something was way too hot for our tastes. Even saying to a person as they're ordering, "You know that is very spicy." when it seems pretty obvious that they are not used to ordering or, "That is much better with a side order of rice." helps people who might be new to Indian food. Overall it was a wonderful experience, and we really enjoyed our food, but these service tips might help with others who come in and aren't necessarily used to Indian food (or have a few people who haven't had it before).

This is the best Indian in the city. Their garlic naan is out of this world. Serving sizes are large and all the food is so flavourful. The staff is amazing.

This is a very comfortable family style restaurant with amazing food. The restaurant itself is small with booths along two walls and tables arranged in the middle. The decor is simple with an Indian theme. There were not a lot of eat in patrons on the weeknight that we were there but was fairy busy with takeout and delivery orders leaving. This was perhaps the only negative as there were often customers or drivers waiting at empty tables for their orders. I found this slightly distracting as our booth was at the back near the picking up counter. The service was first rate however and the food was as good as any high-end restaurant. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, the meat with cashew is tasty but, butter chicken was not the best Sweet was exceptional

Lovely casual dining experience. Friendly and helpful service. Food was wonderful especially the appetizers. Will return soon.
