Great ambiance and amazing quality of food. I went in with my husband on Friday, which is the jazz nights at the restaurant, it was our first wedding anniversary celebration and we had a great time. Ratings: Ambiance: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 A must visit if you are in London.

I went there with my friends on Tuesday. I liked the Restaurant Ninety One. So I introduced this restaurant to them. We felt good when we got in there. But there was a bad smell at the table. I talked to the waiter and he wiped the table. We've been slow to smell while eating, but I don't want that to happen on our next visit.

Excellent food and atmosphere. There was a very elegant French singer/piano duo live music when we went Friday night. We ordered the lamb and the surf & turf. The lamb & veggies were perfectly seasoned and balanced (the mint was a great touch!), although the croquettes were shockingly bland and tasted more like rice. The lobster in the surf & turf was small (which is reasonable considering the price), and overall very delicious. We unfortunately had quite a long wait time when we went, but our gracious server and the delightful music helped keep this night very enjoyable!

Here for my sister’s congratulatory dinner after getting PhD. Food was really good and hot. I ordered a steak and it was cooked really well. Wasn’t crazy about the “crust”. My dad has an allergy to hazelnuts and they have hazelnuts on their menu the waitress and cooks were very very careful to ensure no possible chance of cross contamination. The cobbler was good as well same with the bread they brought out at the start- very was freshly baked.

Excellent service, wines and ambience. had the best dessert of my life there: Coffee & Cream. Was a vanilla bean mouse covered with mocha cremeux, and the sealing deal of it, the toppins: chocolate espresso beans and espresso fluid gel... I have to say!: some spirits are better not to let go. Loved. For real!!! This dessert there will probably become a trend.

Great ambience and friendly staff! Special mention for the ravioli because it made me realize that I actually do like mushrooms after all! My one complaint would be that the dish was a bit salty for my taste.

It's a good place to celebrate anniversaries or to treat someone. The atmosphere and staffs were fantastic, and the wine that a waiter recommended was nice. They served our dessert with a lovely candle after they knew that it's my husband's birthday. Food was not that impressive, but it was good. There's a concert every Friday evening as I know. It's better to make a reservation in advance.

We almost didn't come because of a negative review about tasteless bread and butter. Thank goodness we came. The meal was excellent from beginning to end. The sourdough bread and butter was plentiful, warm, and delicious. We have never had pork belly, but we tried it on the recommendation of the waitress - wonderful. The pickerel was light and tasty, and the tartar sauce the best we've ever tasted. The desserts were rich and interesting, but we over indulged. A delicious meal, excellent service, and lovely ambience.

The Ninety One Restaurant at Windemere Manor is nestled in the woody glades on the University of Western Ontario campus. The setting is idyllic. It wasn't very busy when our group of four arrived, and our waitress was excellent. Service was informative and efficient. Our orders were taken quickly and drinks appeared promptly. The menu specials were explained, including the prix fixe summer menu. Our wives ordered the cod special, my friend had the clams linguine and I settled for seafood fettucine. All four meals drew deserved praise. The only criticism was that the fingerling potatoes with the cod bore an overly strong and somewhat bitter taste of liquid smoke. The air conditioning was a little aggressive and all were feeling chilly by the end of our sojourn. My three companions really enjoyed their lemon curd cobblers and declared the meal most enjoyable. The final bill came to about $200 plus tax and tip. Recommended.

Beautiful scene on the hill, quite and elegant. Came here on a Sunday for brunch, sitting next to the window is the best experience! I ordered the egg benedict. The portion was not big for the price ($16) but later we found out the coffee and juice we ordered were included. We were also served fresh baked bread and it was delicious! The baked potato that came with the eggs was also perfectly cooked: soft inside and golden crispy outside. I definitely will go again for dinner!

Remarkably comfortable setting with superb, inobtrusive, but attentive service. I ordered their soup of the day, a wild rice with turkey soup followed by a Rigatoni Carbonara, completed by an Espresso Gelato for dessert with coffee. Every offering from soup to dessert was absolutely delicious. The wild rice with turkey soup was thick and full of flavour. I was impressed by the freshness of the vegetables. The Rigatoni Carbonara was a punch of refinement and flavour imbued onto a bed of melt in your mouth rigatoni pasta - the balance of ingredients was top notch. The Espresso Gelato was to die for and quite possibly the best frozen coffee dessert I have had in many years. The presentation was impressive. I was pleasantly surprised by the total cost which was lower than I expected. Heading into an 18 hour flight I was very glad for a full and happy stomach as I could not expect to get better on the plane. Their coffee too was a high quality and full flavoured blend. Their home baked bread was DELICIOUS and an experience onto itself. I will make it a point to visit again at the earliest opportunity. You would be well advised to make this restaurant a destination point on your next visit or layover to London, Ontario and bring a friend to share in and delight in the experience with you. I actually saw a deer as I was sipping on my coffee and looking out the window onto their gorgeous green space. Fancy that!

My husband and I were there for his birthday tonight. We received a free appetizer and dessert. The meal was phenomenal, and the server (Ann) was extremely friendly and knowledgable. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Unfortunately, we were the only table tonight. Definitely a hidden gem. Give this restaurant a try, great for birthdays, anniversaries etc.

I recently enjoyed an intimate dinner here with friends. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the renovations the restaurant did were great! The food was enjoyable, and we had great service from our server. I would highly recommend the lamb rack!

Very beautiful and pleasant location. We came for lunch. The food was great- tasty and great presentation. You don't come here to stuff your face. The food is an adequate portion size and extremely tasty and well presented. Loved the sourdough bread and butter that comes on the table. Will return for dinner!
