Review Che Resto Bar - London

This delightful surprise was just what we were looking for when we had a concert to go to downtown but hadn't decided on a place to eat yet. We just decided to go on a whim and we are so glad we did. Marvin the owner has created a place with a great vibe, fantastic personal service, out of this world cocktails, and some of the most interesting and flavourful food we've had yet in London. We decided to sample several of the cocktails and I can say the sangria is the best we've ever had and the pisco sour is now my new favourite drink. We did tapas - guacamole (that had pomegranate seeds in it and now that's the only way I want my guac thank you), tacos, grilled calamari that was cooked perfectly, and the tostados which we're so flavourful. Everything tasted extremely fresh and with just the right amount of spice. With the great decor and the lively music it was a perfect place to spend a couple of hours. It was also great to get to know Marvin a little. We've decided Che Restobar is going to be our go-to lets hang out at the bar on a Friday night and have a great time place. Can't wait to go again and I've already decided I'm going to try the paella and then the next time the chorizo burger. 12/10 recommendation on this place for a GREAT night out.

The cocktails alone are reason enough to revisit, making it a must-try for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

I can't recommend this place enough. From the great service to the absolutely delicious food, this is by far one of my favourite restaurants in London!

Amazing night out! We went for my boyfriends birthday and really enjoyed ourselves. The interior is beautiful and the music was lively. We shared several small plates and cocktails… definitely a unique experience! I can’t wait to go back.

Always my go to for any special occasion! The food is delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly. Visited most recently on a Tuesday to have their $5 tacos which were all truly delicious and very flavourful (my favourite was the pork belly! Also pictured is the steak and calamari tacos — all delicious!). Also enjoyed a pitcher of their sangria to share which tastes authentic instead of just being full of juice like you find at many other restaurants. We got to see their new back patio for a minute before the rain started, so we are hoping to return soon and enjoy their great food and atmosphere back there before the summer is over! Make sure you try their alfajores for desert, they are not to be missed! Couldn’t recommend Che more.

I had my 50th Birthday Party at Che Restobar. It was a private party event and it was fabulous. Marvin the owner is very accommodating. The cocktails and food are so delicious. I highly recommend Che Restobar for a private function.

Food, Service, Atmosphere ... Drinks 🍷 ... Everything was wonderful. We celebrated our 6 month anniversary with my partner there and I am very happy with my choice. A wonderful place both for romantic dates and a classy family dinner with delicious cuisine from all over the Latin-world ...

Had a great experience at Che Restobar last night. Amazing service, drinks and food. Highly recommend the Che Poutine. Definitely worth a visit and I hope to be back soon!

Dropped in for a late night glass of wine with a friend, and found a chic restaurant with a delightful-looking menu that I can't wait to come back and try. The staff were lovely

The Paella here was very good! But I am reviewing this awesome dining place here because of their churros! I didn’t take a picture but it has been the best churros I have eaten in North America so far. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here, and it was the perfect way to do so! I have heard many good things of Che, and have been wanting to try this place for years. We knew the food was going to be good, but we had no idea that it would have been THIS GOOD. I am both lactose-intolerant and gluten-intolerant, but most of the menu are things I can have. My partner can eat everything, and he didn't miss out on taste with items that work for me.

The staff are welcoming and friendly. The vibe is beautiful and different, lovely light fixtures and interesting art pieces. The food is delicious -- loved the guac. The drinks however leave room for improvement. Mojito -- tasted like soda and ice, no noticeable rum. Red wine was okay, but better selection would be appreciated. Overall, would return for food but not drinks.

Living downtown it's hard not to go to the same pub every time you wanna go out for a date night. But we decided enough was enough. We headed to Che Restobar. Having checked the menu prior to determine it was reasonably priced of course. Which it is. We started with drinks; the Cesar and the Mascaras. Which were amazing. The Cesar had tequila in it, giving it a unique flavour without compromising what you expect from a Cesar. The Mascaras was a mint and lime cocktail that on a summer day would probably go down quickly and repeatedly with ease - in a good way. We split the Holy Guacamole and the homemade chips are what you wish corn chips at the store tasted like. The Guacamole was great with the pico de Gallo being a nice addition. The twist was the pomegranate which was subtle but added a nice sweetness to cut the salty of the chips. Never would have considered it but was pleasantly surprised. For Dinner we had the Chicken Enchaladas and the Chorizo Burger. They were both exploding with flavour. The burger was the most delicious I've ever had. It was unique but still a burger. The yucca fries were a way better option than traditional fries. I went home and investigated on how to replace potato for yucca in common recipes cause it was such a nice change. The enchalada was tasty and the sauce was great. The rice and beans were beautifully done and when mixed in with the remaining green tomatillo sauce, I could have had a whole bowl of just that and been satisfied. We finished the night by splitting the churros and they were light, fluffy and didn't feel greasy like churros often do. Overall, I'd come back. Not recommended for a quick, cheap meal but otherwise for a nice reasonably priced dinner out/date night. It was perfect.

I have been to Che Restobar multiple times...and every time the food, desserts and cocktails have been incredible!! This place is a must when dining out in London, Ontario. I will definitely be back again soon!!! (I recommend the ceviche, enchiladas, churros and the burger).

Amazing atmosphere and a beautiful patio that makes for a great date spot or a cute place to catch up with friends. Great service and DELICIOUS food and drinks. The patatas bravado was my favourite. They were succulent, soft, flavourful, one of the best foods I’ve eaten. The empanadas and enchiladas were also delicious and flavourful. Portions are fair but filling. Be aware that as a Latin restaurant, you won’t receive the same super quick, in and out service you’d expect at a typical North American restaurant. Your food and drinks may take a while but it’s because everything is made fresh with tons of love and care. I didn’t mind the wait as it allowed me to catch up with my friends and enjoy the beautiful patio. A wasp flew into my drink (totally expected for summertime, not their fault at all lol) and they replaced it for free, no questions asked. Will definitely recommend to everyone and will definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing food and service :)
