Food was great - perfectly cooked, lots of flavour, well portioned and nice presentation. Staff were friendly and attentive. The only thing to note, there is an up charge for the sparking water which was not disclosed to us. Maybe not a big deal to some however it was $10 which seems high. Other than that, our overall experience was pretty good.

The food was okay. The service was good. Loved the mocktail that I had ( apple berry punch). Make sure you call and ask them before you reach there. No parking space right in front of the restaurant.

Amazing spot, especially if you’re headed to the grand theatre. It’s the perfect place to fuel up before a show! We tried a variety of appetizers, two delicious mains, indulged in dessert, and of course popped some bubbly champagne. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Best of all, the prices were totally reasonable. As fellow food business owners, we know good value when we see it! We can’t wait to go back and try their pizzas and burgers. Trust us, this place is a culinary delight you won’t want to miss!

Flavours are really good. The lamb, the truffle fettucini, and the roasted garlic bulb were all excellent. Pearl couscous and fettucini were cooked impeccably and the lamb seasoning was perfect. I would imagine all of their food is great. However, portions are a bit small and the service is quite slow. We sat down at 6:45 and our mains only came out at 7:40. It also annoys me somewhat that their default tipping options on their machine start at 18%. That said, I would still highly recommend, just budget the time necessary.

Fantastic experience this evening. It had been several years since I had last eaten here and I was really hoping that things were still at the high level I had remembered them to be. I was not disappointed! Food was absolutely delicious, very well presented, nicely seasoned. Had appetizers to mains to dessert and all courses were very enjoyable! Service was excellent, very attentive, very knowledgeable and very friendly. All our servers recommendations were right on, from the suggested entrees to the wine choice. This really made our evening that much more enjoyable. I can see why Garlic's has been around for as long as they have.

We visited Garlic’s New Year’s Eve , this was such a pleasant start to our evening. Our waitress was so kind & knowledgeable , she was spot on with recommendations. Our food surpassed our expectations. The owner stopped by our table and introduced himself once our meal was done and to see if we were enjoying our evening. We will definitely be returning to try some other enticing items on the menu. Thank you for such a memorable time.

Garlic’s. The rumour is that this Italian restaurant sets the bar for fine dining in London. I have had many great dishes here, but today, I got a Londonlicious three course meal. After their complementary focaccia bread, my first course was their AAA Steak Tartare. It came with raw beef, a raw egg yolk, focaccia crisps, and some pickles. For my entrée, I ate the Duck Breast. It came with a blackberry sauce, pickled grapes, lentils, and a leek tumbleweed. This was okay. I enjoyed the other dishes more. Lastly, my dessert was the Brûlée Peached and Cream. It came with a custard filled crepe, diced peaches, and drizzled caramel. If you’re a tourist visiting London, Garlic’s must be one of your stops. It is a beloved restaurant by many that puts out excellent dishes in a fine dining setting. It’s so good that I’ve been a dozen times.

This was one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten in a restaurant. There were four of us and we were all very happy with our main courses. (Salmon, Pork Tenderloin, Chicken and the spicy Pasta.) The best dessert was definitely the apple caramel cheese cake which was rich, delicious and decadent. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. A bonus was that despite being a popular restaurant, it wasn't noisy on a Thursday evening and we could easily enjoy our conversation.

Had a great dinner celebrating a birthday. Food was great! Our server, Hannah was very good. Attentive, friendly and professional. Favourites were the chicken liver pate app and the chicken entree. The risotto style squash was amazing. Great apple cheesecake for dessert too! Great job Garlic's!

My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant! Flavours are on point and everything was just enjoyable to eat. Our server was super friendly and we just felt really comfortable. The garlic bisque and garlic bulb apps are delicious and are must trys. The pear salad had great saltiness with sweetness and it just tasted like a great summer dish. The pasta was creamy and rich; super filling! The ice cream was a great finish to our meal. Oh, and the focaccia bread is just *chefs kiss*. Definitely worth checking out!

To begin with, I had the pleasure of trying the Braised Shortrib and pork belly duo appetizer. The flavors of these two meats blended perfectly together, creating a rich and savory dish that was simply divine. The tenderness of the meat and the balance of flavors were top-notch, making it one of the most delicious appetizers I have ever tasted. Moving on to the salad course, I had the Roasted pear and goat cheese salad, which was equally impressive. The sweetness of the pear, the tanginess of the goat cheese, and the crunch of the greens made for a delightful combination of textures and flavours. Finally, for the main course, I opted for the Salmon and it did not disappoint. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the herb velouté sauce. The dish was well-balanced, and every bite was packed with flavor. The presentation was elegant and sophisticated, making it a truly memorable dining experience. Overall, my meal at Garlic's was superb, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. The attentive service, charming ambiance, and mouthwatering dishes make Garlic's a must-visit restaurant. Kudos to the chef and staff for creating such an exceptional dining experience.

I went there with my wife and two babies. Positives: 1. I did a reservation two hours before arrival. 2. Servers are friendly and nice. 2. Food tasted good, but presentation much better Negative: 1. We had to use stairs to go up and we had a stroller. I wonder why no one proposed helping us with the stroller?! 2. my salmon dish was cooked medium. Was not really cooked from inside. I asked why, they told me they do it this way. Why not ask customer how they like it? 3. Half of the tables in the first level were empty even after we finish. Do you consider having customers with stroller and babies is not attractive and not good deal? 4. No tablecloth, when server brought the dessert 🧁 she did put the spoons on the table, this was confusing, was really the table clean before our arrival?

We were looking for a place last minute to go to before the Knights game. After being turned away from many restaurants we were offered a small table in the back at Garlics. The last one. I was hesitant to be honest but when we got to the table it was fine. I had always wanted to try Garlics and I wanted to make sure that our first experience would be a good one. All I can say is this: The Hype is real. The food was absolutely delicious. I could eat their Ceaser salad every day of the week. Give this place a try 100% We had the beef tenderloin. Cooked to perfection!

I highly recommend visiting this place. I had no reservations and was only passing by when I came in, I was warmly welcomed by the waiter. He kindly seated me and they accommodate most of my allergies and food restrictions. My waitress was even given me recommendation about what to avoid in desert. The staff is friendly, welcoming, warm & inclusive. Food taste great! And the portion size is reasonable.

An excellent place for upscale Italian dining in downtown London. Each dish for our party of five was cooked and presented perfectly. They all came fairly quickly as well. During our wait we had complementary focaccia bread. I’m not sure if it was homemade but it was incredibly soft and flavourful. I had the beef tenderloin pasta. All their pasta is made in house. If my dish is any indication their pasta is great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Great location for dinner especially give its location next to the Grand Theatre. Reservations are extremely recommended, especially if there’s an evening show next door. The parking lot behind the restaurant is a bonus.
