Review Durham Cafe - Lindsay

It’s really pretty and cosy. The food was absolutely delicious. We had eggs benedict, omlettes, and cinnamon bun french toast. All of them were great. Everyone was nice and friendly. Highly recommended.

This place was fantastic! From the amazing staff kindness, to the cute chicken décor, to the great food, this is definitely our new breakfast spot. I can't say enough good things about this place. Brenda was wonderful :)

My brother has previously come here many times and so I came here with my girlfriend with high hopes, but I was quickly disappointed when I realized what the service was like. It was one of the owners waiting on us, and several times we would say thank you to no response from her. Now since we are young, I can understand if there was a slight bias towards older customers as she had been talking a lot to some customers that came after us, but there was a group of 4 men not much older than us (we are 20), that she didn’t know but was laughing and carrying on with despite them swearing and talking so loud everyone on the patio could clearly hear them. The eggs seemed undercooked and we both couldn’t finish them, and the pancakes were good, but the rest of the food was fairly average. I would come back if the service was good, but unfortunately my experience with the owner of the establishment has left too bad of a bad taste in my mouth for me to want to give them the business again.

We were just passing through the town and were looking for a good breakfast place. We got really lucky to find this one. It is one of those local food joint where everyone knows everyone else. The waitresses are super nice. They have 2 cooks in the kitchen and you do not wait for your food. Your plate is full, and your belly too, very reasonably priced.

Best brunch in the Kawartha Lakes!! Incredible staff, delicious food, hearty portions and fantastic prices - what more can you ask for? There's no other place like it - they're the best in town, hands down!

Have been there twice for breakfast while visiting family. Service was warm and friendly in a cozy atmosphere. Food was excellent ; simple and hearty in generous servings. We will definitely be going back.

From waitresses to owners, you always feel like one of the family when you eat at the Durham Cafe. It is just one of those small town places that are a MUST to eat at if in or passing through Lindsay ON. I always get the turkey club and it is piled high always and fresh ingredients. Everytime i eat it from here, i seriously go to my happy place. Leave with a smile. Customer service is always at it's finest. Been going to this establishment since before 1997. Good job ladies!

This place is a hidden gem. I went there on St Patrick's day for breakfast with the recommendation of a friend and had the Hungry man's breakfast. The food was amazing and the prices were even better, the device was impeccable and the restaurant was filled to the brim with happy customers. Literally everything on the menu looks and smells great, give this place a try people, I for one will be back for more.

Great food and Great people!! A combination that cannot be beat. Ask about their famous lemon pie and special birthday singing performances. You won't be disappointed just ask Rick Mercer.

I have had many lunches at the Durham Street Cafe and everyone was excellent.

Great restaurant. When in town we try to go here. Have been only for breakfast. Eggs Benedict is to die for. If this is any indication of the great tasting food and portions, can't wait to try the dinner meals. Service and staff A+. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
