Review Restaurant Normandin Charny - Levis

Terrible dinner at this Normandin after a 12hour drive. The service was so terrible. Ordered the goose pie (see picture) and got the most disgusting emaciated plate of food. It wasn't even closing time to say they were running out of food. Yes, my french isn't the most fluent but I was doing my best, but that no reason to not bring me pepper, salt, butter or ketchup, expecting me to keep asking for each. Also food plated were mixed up. Did I mention the restaurant was not busy. My husband and I were the last people. In the restaurant because we sat waiting for her to return to check on us, didn't happen, waited and waited for her to come somewhere near us so that we can ask for our bill. Didn't happen, so we decided to walk to the take out counter to pay that person! She steps out of a nook with a look of surprise, proceeds to bring a bill that isn't shown to me but keys the amount into the debit machine and then has the audacity to ask how much tip I want to give 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. Definitely not my usual Normandin experience, definitely not coming back to this location.

Nice modern restaurant in the area, the foods having regular taste nothing special.

Stopped here for dinner after 2 weeks of traveling to the East Coast and back and having spent the day visiting Montmorency Falls and Vieux Québec in the middle of a heat wave. We were tired and hungry after battling traffic on the bridge hoping to make it before they closed. We made it with 45 minutes to spare. Staff were very friendly. Seated us right away. We didn't have to wait long to receive our food. There was an error with my son's order but our server offered to redo it and the correct order was served very quickly. Thank you!

Worst place ever. Don't bother going there. Waitress did not come to take our order for a while. When we go the food the sides were on the wrong plates. Did not check to see if we had all we needed. We had to ask for condiments which was brought half heartedly. Asked for the bill and waited and waited. When we went to pay at the front she asked how we were going to pay, she keyed in the amount and asked how much tip we wanted to add 🤬. Told her to give us the machine and we would do it ourselves. I am not a local, travelling through your town, be hospitable. I don't speak your language, help me order the food. Very ride service. Normadin corporate needs to step in and clean this place up to avoid damaging their reputation. Fortunately, I had a good experience at the Normadin at Rivire du loop. Was very frustrated.

Good food and great prices especially when you have a big family

Very good omelette. So this is what hollandaise sauce is supposed to taste like! And the strawberry shortcake. Yummy!

The server was not polite. We waited 35 minutes for our plate to arrive and when they came it was a disappointment. There was a few potatoes. There was an eggshell in my friends egg. There was also two fruits on the plate. And when our plates came they were cold. In a normal breakfast restaurant there would be so much more.
