Review Dono Sushi - Lethbridge

Amazing good! This looks like a hole in the wall place from the outside. It’s actually not bad inside at all! Great portions with great taste. The size of the meat on the rice was very generous. The rice was room temperature, which is fantastic. It took a bit longer than expected, but definitely worth waiting for.

First time ever trying . Rolls were much larger than expecting , caterpillar roll was amazing the best Ell I have had. Tempura beautifully crispy with lots of variety, smaller portion than my usual place and much smaller dip. Cost approximately equal to favourite though this was majority vegetable on plus side they have a Huge Variety of Vegetable options Thou .

Amazing friendly staff. Quick service! First time ever having real sushi..we ordered the love boat and it was so amazing!So much flavor. Definitely recommend to anyone to try. The one dish is half eaten so it looked better before we devoured it lol

Food was AMAZING and tasted authentic. The pricing was incredibly fair. They were the first place I have been to in Lethbridge to enforce mandatory proof of COVID-19 vaccine upon entry- WHICH I FULLY SUPPORT. the waitstaff was incredibly kind and very knowledgable about the entire menu. Definitely would revisit and recommend!

The staff was very friendly. The sushi was delicious. We ordered the unagi and salmon and we're very impressed with the amount we recieved!

More of a 4.5 than a 5 but only because I found the food to be too hot in that the food was just too spicy/hot and that took away from the flavour of the sushi rolls itself. Not a big thing if you're into hot/spicy foods but I personally think it needs to be balanced. If the food wasn't as spicy/hot, that it would've gained a full 5 stars to be honest. Overall though, the food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour if you scraped off some of the hot sauce used. Rolls were made to order and a nice good decent size as well with high quality and fresh ingredients. Tempura was absolutely perfectly crispy and balanced - prawns were a good size too. Service itself seemed pretty decent but it was takeout of course due to the ongoing pandemic. Person who took our order and cash was friendly and professional. A pleasant surprise in the middle of Lethbridge to be honest. We were not disappointed whatsoever and really enjoyed the food.

Very authentic. The place is in neat condition, really good customer service, food presentation is great and the best part, taste is amazing. If you’re visiting Lethbridge and love Japanese cuisine, this is the place to visit.

Pleasantly surprised by the lunch bento. I got the Donburi bento and there was a lot of food for the price! I'll definitely be back to try another bento, this donburi wasn't my favorite but I really liked the tempura, miso, and udon. My son loves tomago and said this was one of the best he's had. Edit: The service here has really improved. I've been back several times and the bentos are fantastic, such a great selection. I had the spicy lunch bento and it was spicy!
